I enjoyed the vibe of this cafe very much. I ordered a latte, avocado toast, and some Danish pastries. The coffee quality was excellent, and the pastries were so good that I bought some more to take home. The service was also courteous, and I felt like I should have brought a book to read here for a while so that I could hang out here a little longer.

Found this little gem šŸ’Ž while visiting Philadelphia. Chai latte, pistachio pastry and sandwich was absolutely delicious and I really appreciated these recommendations from the coffee shop ā˜• manager. Friendly staff and great ambiance. I met someone for an early morning business meeting over coffee and loved this little gem. Bright and cozy, right off of Lancaster Ave in Haverford. It was my first time there, and it's now a go-to going forward. I was being good, so didn't sample the tasty looking pastries but will next time. There were some amazing sounding coffee confections on offer and the person I was meeting is a real coffee affictionado and this is his go-to spot. Me, I have coffee only once a week (I decided today was the day). I'm not fancy with my coffee and I usually order it this way: "Coffee, room for cream". And that's exactly what they gave me, lol, and I was happy 😁!

Went to Green Engine Coffee Company this morning. The atmosphere is busy and beautiful. The espresso, however, was very weak. I ordered a honey bee latte and a mocha. Both were sweet and milky but they lacked the coffee flavor I was expecting. Either the espresso wasn’t added or it’s generally not a strong espresso flavor. I might give it a second try just in case this was an error but it wouldn’t be a regular stop for us.

Coffee is great! Food tastes great! Slowest kitchen ever. I was in a hurry, but didn't want a pastry, so I ordered a quiche. Apparently it takes over 10 mins to slice, package, and hand me a piece of quiche?I understand there is an order to the kitchen, but come on. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it.If you are in a hurry, don't order anything from the kitchen, unless you plan to wait a long time.

I would recommend this to people who like a busy environment. I ordered an egg sandwich thinking it was coming on a philly muffin. They didnt tell me i had to select a bread and i got brioche. When i asked what their drip coffee was and what roast they gave me a pretty sassy answer. Won’t be going back unless it isn’t busy. And if you get overstimulated or overwhelmed by trying a new place, definitely order ahead online. I won’t be going back because I don’t feel comfortable ordering food. And I frequent other coffee shops in the area and have never had this experience.

Confident saying - anything positive you've read/heard about Green Engine is probably 100% legit. Drinks and pasteries are fantastic. Service is always very good. Been here many times. I'd recommend: hot vanilla latte & a toasted bagel with cashew butter. Sometimes it's hard to find seating...but that's because the place is justifiably popular.

I loved green engine ever since they opened their doors many moons ago. My only small complaint is how expensive they have gotten. I know that’s inflation and happening everywhere but still hurts my soul a little. Coffee is good and pastries are usually pretty good. There are a few times where the pastries didn’t taste super fresh or (personal opinion) flavor combo wasn’t what I expected. But paying 13 dollars for pastry and latte is painful.Pro tip- always buy Any herb and fruit scone - yo where those blueberry and thyme scones come in?!?

Coffee and food met my expectations which correlated with the location, aesthetic and prices.Once the coffee shop was full the auditory atmosphere became somewhat unpleasant, I’d recommend they look into passive noise dampening materials for walls and/or ceiling.WiFi was available without a password, be mindful of how and why you connect to it.

What a great place to work and grab a cup of coffee. The sandwiches are good The people are hot. This is a fun place that demands a second visit. Some people are heads down into their computers and others are laughing and making jokes. What you want with a good place.

I’ve been to green engine numerous times and have never had a bad experience there. Coffee is the best in Ardmore, maybe even the surrounding city and suburbs. The kickstarter is one of the best breakfast sandwiches that not many people know about. You must experience this cafe I feel like they’re the best kept secret. Oh and their pastries are always good.

Everytime I visit my daughter from Georgia, she takes me here and I just love it! I love all the barista's, especially Blake! He always surprises me with his secret concoctions. The food is delicious, the decor/design is very pleasing, the atmosphere is vibrant and all the staff is super friendly!šŸ‘Œ I always feel at home whenever I visitšŸ¤—āœŒļøVegetarian options: Options to change menu to your preference Dietary restrictions: Option to choose dietary restrictions like non-dairy, locals and repeat customers with dietary restrictions alerts staff of any or all restrictions.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere

I enjoy my coffee each morning but have not been able to get a good cup of coffee here several times in a row. The coffee and cream tastes like watered down cream. Needless to say, bad way to start my day hence the 1 star which is well deserved for a coffee shop. I realize that places are cutting back but come on, add another scoop or 2 to your extraction process.Vegetarian options: Granola, pastries, etc

My intentions were to grab a quick bite across the street when I noticed the Green Engine. Overall goal was to find something savory and continue satisfying my panini obsession. So glad I opted for the Green Engine instead!Awesome vibe when you walk in and friendly staff! I'm ridiculously indecisive and they were patient - something I appreciate tremendously. I'm a work in progress lolIt was busy and I have a few items on my to-do list so I got my order to go. The line moves quickly and the wait was satisfactory. Long enough to know your food was fresh vs pre-made and microwaved, but not long enough to make you think the order was forgotten. 😁I ordered the mushroom panini and the pumpkin honey latte. Both were so good! It's the texture for me. It can make or break a panini. The chewiness of the cheese, crunch of the toasted bread and meatyness of the mushrooms were close to perfect. šŸ¾I have an insatiable sweetooth, so the honey pumpkin latte was perfect for me. Great option for those who like a dose of sweetness to accompany the caffeine šŸ˜‹Overall, would recommend!

This place is the cutest! A great find on our early morning in Philadelphia. They offer kombucha drinks, natural juices, coffee, tea, as well as other Cafe items. I appreciated that not only we there pastries, but salads, panini's, and other menu options as well. The Americano was lovely. And the atmosphere is cool and eclectic. Love the living wall!

I really love this coffee shop! I've been here a couple of times. It is a nice place to sit down and enjoy a cup of something while doing work or meeting friends. So, it is a perfect place if you're looking for a work environment where your surroundings are really energized. The interior is beautiful, spacious, and lovely. Over all, great coffee and calming atmosphere!!

Such a lovely place 😊 stopped by for a blue chai in the past, but this time got to stay awhile and enjoy the atmosphere. My honey lavender latte and bagel with veggie cream cheese were delicious. There is a good amount of seating, though it fills up quickly! The ambience is great and the staff are friendly. Worth it to track down parking spot and stay for awhile! Only great for instagram worthy pics šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‚

A wonderful discovery on an impromptu trip through the town! Lots of people on a Saturday, but that's what you get when you're this good. Staff treated everyone equally great. The Bondi Bowl was truly the best coconut yogurt bowl I've ever had- mind blown! The decor is also amazing- a live plant wall like none I've ever seen.

Cute spot. Very hipster vibe. A bit pricey but unique drink offerings and a very green and open atmosphere. Parking is a little hard to find but the whole area nearby is very nice so having to walk a bit is no issue.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood. I go out of my way to introduce friends to the unique Kiss From A Rose. One of the best coffee drinks around. Cool atmosphere in a pleasant neighborhood so sit for a while and enjoy or take a walk around the block

Cold brew and scones are great.Edit to add:I had the tuna melt and it was awful. A tuna melt and a coffee for $20? It better be on point. I couldn’t finish it and it made me sick. After this, a barista came out to tell me and others they’d inexplicably be closing two hours early, only 20 mins from then, making the whole trip for lunch and work a little a waste. Not cool.Their shots have gotten smaller when it comes to espresso. I usually order cold brew but have started drinking espressos outside of my house more. I asked for a double. I was told ā€œwe pull doublesā€ and what I got was half of what I get at other places. Also, $7 for a shot of espresso and a sparkling water is insane. I am MORE than happy to pay stupid amounts for good coffee and food but these last experiences have me questioning if this place isn’t getting ahead of itself.
