The store is usually well stocked with some good deals. They don't have an abundance of international foods other than Hispanic items. I've become accustomed to that. I would give a higher rating if not for the checkout situation. I don't have an issue with self checkout but they either need to up the number of self checkout registers or have more employees that can check out customers. The way the self checkout is setup is just stupid! Often time the line goes down a shopping isle so the flow is just terrible. That's not to mention the mess it created for people still shopping for items in that isle.I still shop here on occasion, and have for over 5 years, but I try to avoid it when I can. I now only go when there is a good deal on items I need.If the checkout situation would improve,I would shop here more frequently.

First time shopping at Hatfield shoprite. Shopping carts are made of some sort of plastic was easy to push & move around in the store. When you walk into the store what I noticed first were these beautiful hardwood floors. Store is clean. People who work there are super nice and helpful. Great selections in all food departments shelves were all stocked. They carry Goya products. They have plastic bags you don't have to purchase!! At the service desk a lady named Pam went above and beyond with each customer. They have 2 lottery machines if you like to purchase tickets. Senior discount day is on Tuesdays. It was a great first experience. Will be shopping there again.

We order Thanksgiving dinner from here every year! It's the best! Catering food for a family of 9 is the way to go. We had turkey, ham, green beans, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and an apple pie. We had minimal leftovers so no food was wasted and more time was spent enjoying family instead of hours in the kitchen. Great job at offering this service. We will continue to use ShopRite for our holiday meals! Thank you!

self check out person is always upset helping customer when there issue with coupon or sale item. As if she's mad if ask, dont bring your problem at work. Or if you have issue about my race.

I used to love this store- but I will never return again after my horrible experience. I completed my order at self checkout and when I got to my car I realized I forgot my 1 bag of lunch meat. I immediately went back in(with my receipt that was time stamped!) but someone had already taken my bag.. after waiting 10 minutes for someone to come to the customer service desk, they said there wasn't anything they could do since the bag wasn't there- seriously!?!?!? I wasn't looking for my money back, I just wanted my lunchmeat that I had purchased. I have worked in customer service my whole life and never once did I treat a customer that way- so unhelpful and disrespectful.

The worst I was at guest service and I was ignored for a very long time really???? I can hear her in the back ??? If you don't like your job why come to work and make other people miserable ????? Stay home l!! we all have to deal with jobs we don't like ok!!

It’s just ok, the produce is really hit or miss and too many times it spoils within a day or two. They also consistently lack products that they show on the website/app, I don’t mean out of stock but they don’t even have spots for them on the shelfMeat cuts are also very hit or miss, last NY Strip I got was a worse cut than what I get at Aldi across the street and they don’t even have a “real butcher”.

The store was okay but had a terrible experience with a cashier. She was super rude, yelling at us customers in the line without making any sense. Very disappointing that managers didn't put a stop to it. Will not return back to that store!

Almost all of the carts had broken child safety lock belts or were completely missing them all together, some even had exposed rust and broken handles and sharp pieces sticking out. It took an employee three tries going out into the parking lot to find me a cart to put my baby in that had a working safety lock. Please invest in all new carts especially with working child safety belts. I won’t return for awhile until this is resolved.

I like the atmosphere, the store is clean. I need to be honest, the only product have my interest is “arepas” from Colombia. It’s expensive in comparison with other local supermarkets in this area, but is the closest place to my house to get Colombian food.

Staff is always kind and extremely helpful at night when I go. The store is immaculate. Only issue is I have to call ahead to see if they have strawberries sometimes. Lol sometimes their produce runs out. Tonight they didn't have blueberries but I'm sure they stock back up in the morning.

so... hubby brought home dryer sheets (instead of liquid fabric softener) and marrow bones (instead of soup bones -- no they are not interchangeable); I went to return them only a few hours later on the SAME day, original packages and with the receipt; they took ONLY the dryer sheets and I quote "we don't give refunds just because you bought the wrong thing!" when I buy the right thing, it won't be there; now they want more details? excuse me -- what, my height, birthday? it happened on Thursday 11/2/23 mid-day

Decent sales and shelves are always stocked. However I was looking to buy scallops one day and the winged-seasoning I saw crawling on the scallops quickly cancelled those dinner plans....eww

Went to customer service because my order was suspended and cashier could not take off digital coupon . The woman was spending more time on customer having bad half and half cream trying to locate receipt . Tuesday are busy in this store and more customer service people needed . The person working the desk had a pained look on her face and did not obviously like her Job . I am a former food store manager.

I used to get through this area occasionally when I was self employed, but rarely do anymore. My travels happened to put me within a few miles of it again today, so I stopped in for their Asian food bar. It's still as good as ever. I may not be an expert on Asian cuisine, but everyone I've spoken with about it who knew this place raved about it too. The variety of tastes and textures is amazing! I have no real way to judge how "authentic" it is, but I know it's good. For a grocery store hot food bar to be drive-out-of-your-way good is almost unheard of. The rest of the store seems fine, never really shopped there much as I don't live nearby. I just wandered in around lunchtime hungry a decade or so ago and was hooked! Try it.

100 negative rating! Horrible! had to go through 10 carts before finding a child safety belt that works! Stood in line at deli for 25 minutes!!! Yes 25 minutes to with the number in my hand to get passed over by another customer! The employees skipped me as I spoke up and said I was in line this entire time! The store is dirty and unorganized ! Never returning! I’d rather be treated with respect and pay extra even in this economy!

The store is clean, customer service is stellar, and the sales are good. I usually find most of what I'm looking for, but don't expect a huge selection of gluten/dairy free choices. They're sometimes out of things, even when they aren't on sale but I guess that happens everywhere. They do have a small section of organic and local produce, which I really like. They also have lottery sales.

Normally don’t post negative reviews but this warranted it. Moved in this area about 9 months ago from NJ. We had a few ShopRite stores within shopping distance and all were very good. Moving to the Hatfield store and now shopping here, a complete opposite. Stores a bit run down and lacking variety. But what has prompted me to now shop here as little as possible is the deli section. Whether buying pre-cut deli or ordering from counter, in most cases the cuts are horrible. Hard to separate with meats or cheeses crumbled, uneven or half cuts. Spoke to store manager and didn’t seem to think it was an issue or care. I’ve had enough and will be doing very little shopping there.

Very disappointed! Been shopping here for years, however as a senior, I was troubled that there are no longer cashiers available before 8am. Having to check myself out with a large order, including a lot of produce is not what I consider friendly service.

I have attempted twice to purchase allergy medicine behind the customer service desk at lunch time and both times I have to leave without because I need to get back to work.Please have an additional person at the customer service desk. The wait is entirely too longThank youToday, 2/26/2024, I had yet another experience with no one at customer service, this time I made the mistake of asking the older blonde woman I believe is a supervisor if someone was around to help me… she was extremely rude and short with with me…this isn’t the first time I have dealt with her and how she only answers you as she is walking away from you

No plastic bags to put meat in whatsoever. Sunday and only a couple lanes open. Long lines. Blonde cashier lady with foreign accent (sorry didn't get her name) was wonderful pleasant and bagged all my groceries- not all cashiers do this.
