This Walmart is the reason why I hate Walmart. It’s the most sketchy Walmart I’ve been to. They need to do better with their entrance too, it lacks a welcoming feeling. The toy section is filled with toys that have been opened and stolen, toys that have been swapped which should have never been allowed to be returned. there’s also a lot of trash on the shelves (food, wrappers, junk). I feel dirty after leaving. WALMART CORPORATE MANAGERS NEEDS TO STEP IN AND ASSESS.

First of all this review only pertains to curbside pickup which was my first and last time I'll ever trust ghetto Walmart to do ever again. The items came out to my car on a dolly in milk cartons unboxed as if they took them from display no paperwork or anything! (See photo's) Because I was rushed for time I took them home (which I shouldn't have) only to find the lamp had a piece chipped off, and the cell phone holder's (the only thing boxed) box was busted open and the plastic part to hold it was crushed! Last but not least one order was marked unavailable yet my family member went right in the store and found a bunch of the item! This ridiculous service is unacceptable treating loyal customers like this! Because I have seen some of their managers unprofessional attitude, I saved myself the stress and took it up with corporate instead which went smoothly and a got a full refund. I just wish corporate would straighten them out with all the complaints about them but I won't hold my breath waiting.

The Harrisburg location is ALWAYS very busy. However, this remains my favorite. I can always find everything that I need (and then some, of course). The store itself was clean and tidy and any employee that I ran into was polite and had a smile on their face. Our cashier was very pleasant as well.

I love do shopping in Walmart but today 04/18/2024 i need some fabric and i ask customer service desk twice to help me in fabric and the men who was in customer service desk called fabric employee when i was asking for help and i wa waiting in fabric department more than 10 minutes but nobody was come to help me and again i went to the customer desk for help again they did same thing like and again i am waiting in fabric department around 10 minutes and no one was come to help me in fabric because of customer service and the employee of Harrisburg Walmart service they did me was worst.Most of the employee are doing just time pass in Walmart supermarket in Harrisburg pa if we ask for help no one gonna ready to help us and i hate this kind oh customer service in any shopping center.

02/04/24 08:49:40store # 01591 OP# 000044 TE# 06 TR# 09539I'm from out of town and I'm not sure how people act in Harrisburg, but the employees, both young and senior, in this particular Walmart were very rude, each and every single employee encountered was rude and dismissive. I rarely give one star reviews. The most rude person I encountered at the store was the checkout person. A middle aged African American woman, appeared to be this way to every customer so I can't take this personally. She was dismissive, did not say please and thank you, and she was not welcoming. I was trying to be helpful and tell her that I had six storage containers and she rudely replied that she already knew that, she already tallied it up. Additionally, I went to tap my card to pay with Walmart pay and she rudely replied that we don't do Tap and Pay Here. I said I was paying with Walmart pay. When I said to her that I think you could be a little more pleasant, she became very belligerent and aggressive. As I closed out my order and I proceeded to make sure that my receipt was visible for any type of security at the door to see on my app, she was still yelling across the store at me, telling me that I was the one who had a problem. Let me tell you Walmart, I'm not the one with the problem. You need to hire people who need a job and who will be polite enough to keep their job. Remember something, middle aged lady, if you don't like your job, find another one.

I just got home from West Palm Beach. And always shopped at that Walmart. Basically because they beat every store buy a mile in price. So after trying out this Walmart on Grayson rd next to Sam's club. I was very impressed. And very affordable. Found things I needed very easily . Store was clean. Parking no problem. Fresh Vegetables at affordable prices . I knew this place had a bad reputation. Why I never went to it . The employees were very friendly. And check out was a breeze. Plus Aldi is in the same lot . I would recommend this store.

Got what I needed for a good price compared to my local stores. Took half the time getting out of the store as only 2 reg registers were open and all the rest were the check your own self out. Seems to be how all these stores like to operate now.

Store sucks. They had two associates running register and about 20 self check outs open. Well the two associates running register the line was 10 people deep. So in order to get out in a timely manner had to use self check out. Well if I wanted to run register at wal mart then I would get a job there. I hate ringing myself out and not getting paid to do the work of an associate! Then had two associates at the door wanting to check my recipe, like they didn't trust that I payed for my items.... NO if you want to insure I pay for my items then OPEN MORE REGISTERS with an associate running them and ring me out. Nothing like giving my money to and ungrateful company and doing free services for them at the same time by checking myself out and bagging my own groceries. HATE this wal mart. This Walmart has declined in service and cleanliness over the years. The employees are some of the rudest you'll encounter. For example, the employee shoppers knowingly block the aisle with their carts. Asking them to move gives you blank stares and glares.This store often times has debris and stock in the aisles. The shopping carts are old and literally falling apart. I suggest shopping at one of the other Walmart stores in the area and avoid this one if you can.

A necessary evil, I guess.Although I try to avoid this place like the tax man, sometimes I just need a few totally unrelated items so why not one stop shop.The cashier situation is pathetic and the self checkout lines get incredibly long. I should get an employee discount for having to do someone else's job! God forbid something won't ring up and you need assistance! Good luck finding someone.I really hate everything this store stands for, but where else can you get lettuce, underwear and motor oil at the same place?If only Pa would get out of the stone age and let them sell alcohol, I'd probably shop there more often.I only recommend this place as a last resort. Support your local independent businesses, please, whenever possible.

My only issue with the delivery 📦 lease check dates I had food and my daughter showed me the date and my sons was on the toilet so jus make sure drivers your checking dates because you could be getting all the right items but with expired dates and I know it’s the stores responsibility but I feel it’s also the drivers responsibility to get fresh produce and products from a grocery store so I requested my entire money back for the whole entire order because it’s not OK to give somebody something that could spoil so jus be careful with picking orders sometimes people don’t get sick within that same day I didn’t find out until a couple days later, when my whole house just had the runs, so please please check dates

Just stop reading and go to Target or another Walmart. From its curbside pickup to customer service, this particular Walmart leaves much to be desired. I once waited over an hour for my curbside pickup order only to make contact with an employee and be told that they didn’t have my order (in other words, it was given to someone else). If they checked identification as they’re supposed to, this wouldn’t happen.

The store itself is well located, well maintained and clean. Outside the smell was awful. Like someone had vomited on wet feet and garbage. GROSS! Had to hold our breath from the car to the building and vice versa.

Open everyday, Monday through Sunday 6am-11pm like most other super centers in surrounding counties. They had everything I came for during this visit. Upon entering from the Home and Pharmacy side there are signs clearly indicating the various sections i.e. home office and self care. Using these directories it was easy to navigate to the different departments I needed. There were associates actively stocking merchandise throughout different departments. I found what I needed without needing assistance and made my way to the check out area. There were only self-checkouts available and staff was attentive without being intrusive. I sensed it would be easy to get friendly service had I needed assistance. I would return here.I needed some markers to make some notes for my exam today, specifically I was looking for Zebra brand Midliners. There was only one 15 count pack in stock which I purchased. I was delighted to have found Zebra brand Gel Retractable 0.7 mm pens which I purchased as well. These are my favorite pens which are a difficult find in most stores. Usually only the ballpoint variety is in-stock. Also available here are the Zebra 0.5 mm gel-pen which I may come back for since sometimes my notes require a tighter writing style, for example during clinicals at the hospital and for when I am working at the various nursing homes I travel to. However, for study notes I like the 0.7 mm gel pens.

I’ve bought cakes from Walmart but this time I was really annoyed because the cake was definitely not what I ordered at all and I kept getting the run around about it. Also the lack of accountability is really frustrating and trying to get someone in the phone is ridiculous.

I’m sick of being treated life half a criminal because I didn’t show my receipt for a single $10 item to the person at the entrance after passing 2 people at self checkout and a million cameras.When it’s busy there’ll sometimes be a line to get out the door cause they have to check every. single. receipt.I don’t know who made this policy but I promise the terrible customer experience is losing you more money than it’s saving.

It was okay but the bathrooms could use some air freshener because they had a rather bad odor. It was a little hard to find some of the items I was looking for and they didn't seem to have a large selection of some things. They did have a very good selection of slip resistant shoes that I know people need to work in fast food restaurants which was the reason I came here

I needed a copy of instructions for a cat condo I had just purchased there. The box was slightly open on one side and the instructions were lost. I called and was connected with a young lady who worked in the pet section. While I was on the phone she retrieved the instructions snapped a picture and emailed them to me. I was able to construct the cat condo with help from that sweet girl. ❤️

We went here on New Year's Day for just a few things in the grocery section. The store is fairly clean and well-lit. Copious parking spaces are available.

Not cool walmart, bought a frozen pizza for my kids for lunch soon as I got home I preheated the oven and pulled the pizza out and it's completely thawed!! 😒 Rest of the trip is okay at least I found haddock fish, haven't been able to find that at any giant the last 3 weeks. Oh and my son and I got our glasses there, the people in The vision center are really friendly and helpful 😊👍

They need to have all of the self checkouts with large belts open to accommodate the lack of staffed registers, for their customers with carts full of purchases. Those small self- checkouts just won't do when you have a cart full!

Extremely disappointing… I went over Tuesday night to buy a tv. I purchased a 75” tv. I asked the lady working in electronics for a flat cart to get the TV out to my truck and help loading it. She had no idea who to call or what to do and proceeded to give me a standard shipping card. After waiting to see what she was going to with the other shoppers who were watching as well I proceeded to push the TV through the store passing four young kids working on center displays together. I let them know that I needed help and they laughed and said that was crazy. I then pushed the TV through checkout and pass the receipt person who I refused to show it to and drug the TV across the parking lot and loaded it on the truck myself. So disappointed. I will never shop at that trashy Walmart again. They won’t miss me and I get that but, the point is that place is trash. If I could give a negative rating I would. My wife and I bought our first TV in over fifteen years and this is how it ended up. I will be contacting corporate in hopes they will offer my family some sort of an apology.

Customer service is terrible. Have been waiting for 30 minutes now on service for at jewelery counter. Thank you for the actual customer service team for finally getting me assistance after 45 minutes of waiting. Very upset and very dissatisfied. Will not be coming back.

Checking out is almost always a to do. They only keep one (2 on a good day) lanes opened at any given point as will as the self check out you. There's too many people for this we're spending most of our time in the store waiting to check out! Need to either put more people st the registers or add more self check out.
