I think their prices on the pets they have, are INSANE!! It's so sad because these animals need homes but no one can afford them! $400 for a ferret is ridiculous and that poor animal is going to be passed from store to store, never finding a home, all because they have to charge crazy stupid prices

I made an appointment to have my dogs groomed at this store. The group requested that I fill out a pre-check form which was completed during the time of setting up the appointment. That took place during November 19th, 4 hours prior to my scheduled service on Dec 30th they contacted me stating that they can’t see my dog without vet clearance. They had weeks to review my pets profile to ask for all pertinent information but Instead opted to pull this stunt hours before his appointment. Very unprofessional and not worth the hassle or cost. GO ELSEWHERE…

The cashier at the register was friendly, but when I was in the dog treat aisle looking for a specific treat I couldn't find that my grandfather had bought there I asked the associate on the floor who was stocking items in the next aisle over and instead of helping me she said, "All the dog treats are over there and went back to her stocking." I couldn't believe she couldn't even take the time to help me look for them. This isn't the first time I've had this happen either.

Just visited to buy a couple items and watched a groomer yank a dog's face by pulling on his beard to dry him, and held the blower in one spot making the dog uncomfortable (she was probably burning his skin). If she's comfortable yanking a dog around like that in front of customers, what's she doing with them in the back? Yikes. Do better Petco.

Searched online, found the product. Went to order it, but decided to see what was in stock at the first.When I found it it was 50% less on the website. I took it to the register and asked. She said yes it's cheaper online cause they don't pay for us to ring you out. I told her to hold off I would complete the online order.She told me to go ahead and do it then. I ordered it while I stood there.Once it was ordered, I told her the order was in. She told me ok and continued to count out crickets.I said I guess I'll be back. She said ok.I left, returned an hour later and glad I did. Saved so much for the inconvenience.

Well we had to wait over 15mins to even get any help by the live fish. Then finally got up to the check out and agreed I'll pay for a bag for my fish I purchased. The cashier didn't take a bag off the bag holder to put the fish in. I looked at her and said I paid for the bag for my purchase.. She said Yeah I charged you for it. And just stood there looking at me. She said you can take one off the bag holder. I said sarcastically... Thanks for letting me do your job that you get paid to do. I had to bag my own fish. Mine as well just have self checker registers for customers because this cashier definitely showed to me she wasn't going to do her job.

The grooming manager Anthony was cleaning out my dog's ears and I watched him clean out her left ear and she pulled away. I watched him do it again and she pulled away. I watched him do it again and that's when she almost tried to bite him. Then he stops. Then he tries to come out and tell me that she must be sensitive in the left ear but he doesn't know why. Now my dog continues to whine. She won't lay on her left ear. It's sensitive to touch. It's red. She has a vet appointment in the tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. that I have to take her to to see if she has an ear infection and to see if he did any harm by not stopping the first time and stopping. After the third time when I tried to call to complain to the store they wanted to keep transferring me to Anthony instead of taking my complaint so then I had to call corporate.

While employees were very polite the fact when my daughter wanted to see the beta fish on the way out at least half of them were not alive and haven't been for quite some time. The ones that still were alive didn't look too well. Disturbing that those poor fish are treated in that manner. Something needs to be done. Perhaps not even carry them anymore since they can't be bothered with.

Jim was awesome! The manager referred me to him since he was stocking the dog food aisle. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, he answered all of my questions and made a recommendation I was comfortable with for my senior dogs who have digestive issues. Thank you Jim! Much appreciated!

Went there with intentions of purchasing a larger fish tank and fish. Looked around for half an hour waiting for someone to help us, as we are not fish experts. No one bothered, so we picked out a tank and were discussing what fish to get, when FINALLY someone approached us. She was very rude after seeing we were purchasing a tank, and stated that she wouldn't sell us fish because we need to have our tank set up for 24 hours. We put everything back ($200+) and the left the store. We live 45 minutes away, and were not going to travel back the next day. What she didn't know, we had a smaller, interim tank that had been set up for days. So we went to PetSmart where we were asked if we needed help right away. We explained our situation, the man was very knowledgeable, and he had us all set and out the door in 15 minutes. They will get ALL our business from now on.

Update: thanks for the generic reply, but fortunately in my complaing to others i have found another groomer! No more disappointing drives to your store for me!It's really a shame that I have to rely on you for my dogs nails. It's an hour round trip to your store, I waited while two groomers saw me waiting to get my dogs nails clipped. 5 minutes of their time. I could see that they SAW me and never came. Not even to tell me it would be X amount of time till they could help me. It's not like I can call to make an appointment, no one ever answers ...

I like refilling my 30lb containers myself with your cat liter, saving plastic and bag waste. Though the price has gone up from $9.99 to $12.99. I believe it was only $10.99 at the beginning of 2023... :(
