Photos are very deceptive. This, like most all dollar stores.., is very unorganized and cluttered. Most aisles are impassable due to stock sitting on floor waiting to be put on shelf.Associates are not rude but not very friendly or helpful either…

Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Very busy neighborhood store. Great Variety of products. And online FD app for coupons and sales is super! Love my $5 off on Saturdays when I spend over $25! When buying cleaning products the savings can be upwards of $15-$20!

Can something be done about the folks outside asking for money? Every single day. The personnel is very attentive and helpful, I appreciate their work. Also prices are very competitive, but I just wish something were done about the beggars and solicitors as it gives a bad image to this store.

No bathroom for customers tho😒 do not come on the weekend. Omg i been standing in the line for 15 already and not even close. They need to hire more staff, they making the money!! I try and stay away from companies that do this.

Honestly!! This is the BEST Family dollar I’ve ever been too! Clean, organized, super friendly workers! Feels like a neighborhood grocery store. Good store hours. We go here all the time. Lots of variety!

The staff was very friendly and helped me to figure out how to use the new Family Dollar Android coupon app (which is awesome BTW). The prices are low, as advertised, and the selection of products are good. Again, I highly recommend getting the app. It's easy too use and saves you money. An over all good experience. Thank you.

I'm not a big fan of Family Dollar stores in general so I keep my expectations pretty low. Sadly even low expectations didn't soften the experience I had at the N.3rd street store in Harrisburg recently. This site was so messy and disorganized and the staff was rude and distracted . I’m not sure if it’s the job that made them seem miserable but my customer service experience during checkout was terrible. Maybe it was just a bad day for the two cashiers. But I don’t think I’ll find out since I’ll be shopping somewhere else in the future

They say their hiring but after we put the application in and go in to see the manager( three employees said their hiring and they have a sign that says their hiring on the door) she says that their not hiring, they only hiring mixed and colored people... Then state that on the paper, because I’m a great worker and very motivated and so is my best friend, and yet she wants to be racist... even tho I’m mixed! We walked ourselves in the snow to see if we got an interview and she turned us down because she assumed we were both white. The employees also stated that they had fired 7 employees in less then 3-4 days, so how are you guys not hiring? This is the second time the manager(Ms Bobby) has been racist to me and a friend of mine, when all we wanted was a job, and were in walking distance to the store, it takes us less then 10 minutes to get to the store!

Store shelves were pretty empty. Prices high for a dollarish store but if you look hard enough you can find a deal or two. Staff hardly spoke however pretty busy when we visited. I am a bigger fan of dollar tree but this will do as the only dollar store in the city.

This location at Third and Emerald in Harrisburg is always crowded, has long lines and one of the two cashiers always has to leave. Guess it's my timing. But they are well stocked with basic things you need

Its a lot of false advertising going on. The shelf prices are 25 cent to 50 cent more at the register. When I told them about it they said That they could not change the price at the registry. The floors are dirty and the shelves are messy
