My first visit to this beautiful grocery shopping experience! The selection was outstanding, prices were competitive and store layout sensible. I loved all of the delicious looking already prepared foods! Healthy fresh produce and quite a large seafood selection!I also thought the check out people were really friendly!

Very nice large supermarket. Has everything you would need. In addition to typical grocery store items you will find prepared food to eat in or take home. Many salads, pastries, Sushi, very large assortment of cheeses and produce, and a coffee shop. Store is designed very well to help you find what you need.NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: if a customer leaves an unfavorable review you need to politely respond with an explanation. There are no management responses to negative opinions.CUSTOMERS: if you have a complaint about the food you purchased you need to go to customer service. Many stores will refund your purchase or replace the item. Even if you come back the next day with the product and receipt.

1) We've been shopping here for over 20 years. They used to have the best prices on almost everything compared to Giant and Landis. Not anymore. Ever since the last generation's owner passed away, the son came in and raised prices on almost everything. And then he also switched from normal mainstream music to all religious songs. Whereas we used to spend about 70% of our food budget here (Giant was about 20% and Landis about 10%} it's now about 70% Giant, 20% Landis and 10% here

The only place that sells my favorite coffee creamer. Great fresh foods and produce. A bit high priced.Edit: They stopped selling my favorite coffee creamer. Now there's no reason to come here anymore. :'(

The coffee house itself is amazing. This app just makes it that much more convenient! It’s easy to navigate and the staff is excellent when it comes to preparing mobile app orders, they are always complete by the time I arrive to pick it up!

Kudo's For Julie in Bakery Dept.After I searched high and low for a baked item for Easter Sunday that my wife sent me out for, low & behold, I wound up at Hennings Market in Harleysville Pa. Julie suggested their apple pie..She picked it out for me and said they were very popular.It was just enough for 6 people with some left over. Sandy got back by phone to take my message of Kudoing Julie .

I find it very difficult to believe that “Mr. Henning” disapproves of his grocery baggers receiving a modest tip for their fine and efficient bagging. I would hope that Mr. Henning does not approve of his customer service employees publicly and loudly admonishing his fine and efficient baggers for taking one.

It used to be an interesting store before the pandemic, but it always has been very interesting. After the pandemic, it happened on multiple occasions that I bought things that were not fresh, strawberries with fungi, etc, or even spoiled chicken, which I returned and met with a very rude treatment, but eventually got store credit for it.

Prices are high, Giant is cheaper. That might be why they are now selling Alcohol to bring in the customers because prices are not helping customers pockets.They had to copy from Landis I thought they were Christians.

Really awesome grocery store. It had good prices, great variety, and very friendly and helpful employees. Definitely recommend to visit! They have a great warm food buffet and you can eat indoors or outdoors.

The best - BAR NONE - supermarket I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen plenty, both in the US and overseas. The place absolutely sparkles - you could could perform surgery on the floors, that's how clean they are. And the Henning's-made stuff: pasta dishes, baked goods, deli items, etc. etc. etc. TOP quality, and uniformly delicious. Added to all the foregoing, their actually employees seem happy to be working there. Just wish they still had their buffet on Mondays like they used to years ago.

A bit expensive but it carries quality foods. Still no buffet due to covid. Face mask wearing was lax amongst the customers. Even a couple of employees stocking the shelves were maskless.

I'm not from the immediate area, but was told it was a nice market and had a small buffet also. We tried the buffet and were there for the lunch period. They had a nice selection of meats and sides. The soups were tasty and it had a nice salad bar. We thought the price was reasonable. The.supermarket was very nice with a great selection items and the people who worked there were friendly and helpful. I would go back again when Im in the area, but will be better prepared by taking a cooler for all the goodies I'd like to buy.

Myself and my extended family have happily shopped at Hennings for years. While their prices can be more expensive than some other stores, the quality was always worth the premium price paid. Unfortunately after today that is no longer the case.The attached picture is what I received from the deli this afternoon. This is supposed to be 1 pound of fresh, premium Boars Head American Cheese. Is it really though? It looks anything but fresh. It is a dry, crumbly mess and is inedible. How long has this been sitting around? Was it actually sliced fresh today? By the look of it, I find that hard to believe.Groceries are expensive enough today. At $8.99 per pound, there is no excuse for this. Truly disappointed.

Wow, the quality here as REALLY DECLINED! My family used to patronize the store and buffet almost monthy until we moved to Berks. Saturday 4 of us took a long car ride and spent $80 to eat at the buffet. There was maybe, maybe 5 families dining around 6:30ish. First red flag. The buffet was mostly pasta dishes and the soup bar was so hot it baked the soup. I disturbed some cackling workers to ask if any potatoes were on the menu and was told "sorry, not tonight we're pushing everything out". 2nd red flag. It didn't seem like much until later that night all 4 of us were doubled over vomiting for hours. I called Sunday, and seemed the manager Maurine had little sympathy as she said we couldn't get sick that fast. However she thought we came in for Sunday brunch and when realized it was the day prior, she backtracked and said another manager would call us. 3rd red flag. It's nice to know Hennings employees double as physicians! I received a call today from Rebecca at 3:30 pm with a sorry about your luck kind of message. Next time, we'll take our hard earned dollars to a buffet that doesn't try to hospitalize us!

Went for seafood night for a friends Bday. Plenty of options, well worth the $25 price tag. It is not “formal” dining, but the food is kept hot and restocked constantly. Fish was really good, and all the side dishes that I had were great. Seafood salad was probably not worth getting IMO. Friendly cool staff and employees. Kind of a hidden gem!

Very disappointed that 2 TVs in the table area were on Fox News and that the channel could not be changed. The Customer Service person said he did not know how to change it.

Henning's bakery has always been really good. I usually get cakes there for parties. They have a really good deli. The store has a wide variety to choose from.

This week, I really enjoyed my Hennings visit. I spoke with lots of people from the community. The deli staff was nice. I didn't have to deal with that nasty Megan (I think that's her name) she use to tend the deli. Other than that, everything was pretty kosher.

Hands down my favorite place to get coffee! The staff is friendly and inviting and the coffee tastes great! What makes it even better is knowing I can grab some awesome Donuts/StickyBuns or a quality breakfast sandwich at the same time! DD and Starbucks can’t compare <3

I used to enjoy their chicken pies , but over the years they have become too “ mushy” and with the shredded chicken they are chewy !!! Will not purchase them again .Sadly they don’t provide smaller quiches and as there are number of senior facilities in the area , feel they could offer smaller pies . Hennings prices are higher then other grocery stores , for example Fresh Pet dog food ( large roll) is $4:00 more than anywhere else !Prices in the bakery section are extremely high. Staff are very nice to the customers.Think because they are not a “chain” store , they have the higher prices . It is very clean and that is important too .

Our wedding cake by Henning's was amazing. We selected it after doing several tastings with other local bakers and Henning's was hands-down the best! Our three tiers were sour cream pound cake with buttercream frosting, chocolate with chocolate mouse filling, and chocolate chip with chocolate mouse filling, all covered in buttercream frosting. Many guests complemented it as the best wedding cake they have ever had and went back for second pieces. This is not your typical "just for looks" wedding cake! During the ordering process they were very helpful and knowledgeable about flavour pairings and quantities. Would highly recommend working with the Henning's bakers and their cake - excellent!
