Tremendously awful service just now. I walked in to get several keys cut and at 8:20 AM, I was almost the only customer in the store. I explained what I needed, which was three copies of fifteen different keys. A big order to be sure, but since there was no one else in the store, I expected that the woman would begin my order and,if necessary, step aside to help someone else and then continue my order.Instead, she looked at me and said, "No." Her tone was extremely rude and her reasoning was that she couldn't do all those keys while she was there by herself. Even though her job appears to be to cut keys and there was no one else in the store. Looking back, I imagine she could have also been the customer service person, but having this person with such a rude and awful attitude at the customer service desk seems counterproductive.I won't be back

I will always shop at Ace Hardware in Harleysville! I bought this griddle a couple of Saturdays ago and had them assemble it. We picked it up last week. When I went to season it the second burner didn't work right. I called Ace and the man who assembled it came to our house to look at it! He said to call Blackstone to see what they would do. Instead, I decided to call Ace and see what their return policy was. The manager knew who I was! He asked if I'd like to return it or swap it out for a new one? I said I'd like swap it out. They delivered it today and picked up the other one. I didn't even have to take back the first one and pick up the new one! How wonderful to have a store that stands behind the products they sell!

As their prices are a bit higher than Big box stores, understandably, and not an issue as they carry quality items that I personally do not mind paying extra for.However I will not be shopping there anymore. As it seems they must have enough buisness to treat loyal Coustomers the way they do. Seems they only have time for you if your spending alot of money, forget that you've already spent an exorbitant amount of money already. If your there for something small?You'll be insignificant. High prices , rude service? Big box stores aren't looking so bad.

I went in and bought myself my traeger Ironwood smoker.... I came back today to get the extra goodies like bins for my pellets and butcher paper along with the butcher paper roller holder... And of course went home with more flavourful pellets. I cooked my very first pork shoulder on it...you can be thd judge :)

I have been a customer for about 20 years. I am retired and frequent this store Twice a week for all my hardware and paint, plumbing needs &mulch ,topsoil when in season. Everyone is friendly and I know all the staff including the owner. Onw day lastweek , I went to check out and like I always do ,I started to give my ace hardware phone number to the cashier whom I never seen before , a man in his fifties {, I wont say Gentleman like everyone else when referring to a rude person } He interrupted me and said what? I said my ace number , He then said I don't do it that way , I replied what do you mean , I have been doing this since the ace number started , and all the cashiers take my number first..He replied I have my own system, and you can give me the number after I ring everything up.We went back and forth about this sillyness and I became frustrated and placed my stuff on the counter and said , I wont be back to buy from this store. He Replied don't come back . He said what's your problem , you have a problem , I replied I have been giving my number first , no matter what ace store Im at and no problem. I really don't need this type of stupid confrontation. Shame it only takes one person to steer me to another establishment.

This is the place for plumbing fittings! Don't waste your time at a big box - it's here, it's organized, it's priced fairly.And if you happen to also need a smoker AND some yeti gear, you won't believe how lucky you are!

You can get almost anything and everything here for cheaper elsewhere. Plus, they make it really challenging to use coupons or deals.Lastly, the Ace Hardware brand is about as low quality as you can get.

I HIGHLY recommend this Ace Hardware!The owner, Don Hoff, i only met by chance tonight and i feel very lucky to have been able to. Don is one of the nicest most caring people i've ever met, it is clear he is passionate and cares about his clients to take the extra time to ask/learn their stories and their "why", even when they come in literally 1 minute before closing on a saturday night the way i did (thank you again so much!).And as an added bonus THEY STOCK EVERY EGO PRODUCT i could think of right in store for immediate pickup, making it definitely worth the drive!I left the store tonight feeling extremely satisfied and feeling very lucky to have met someone who cares so much about their customers that come in, even when its someone like me who comes in last second right before closing on a saturday night.Thank you again Don and all of Ace Hardware of Harleysville PA!!I HIGHLY recommend them and can't say thank you enough!!

This is a great store. Staff is friendly and engaging. They have always been knowledgeable when I ask a question regarding a project. They actually approach you to make sure that your shopping experience is ok. The Ace rewards program makes it also more affordable than most of the other bigger stores. Great staff, great store, I try to support them whenever I can.

There is so much stuff here, it's surprising. The store is way bigger than it looks. Staff were hepful and friendly. Easy in and out parking. Masks were worn by all staff.

We came for Ladies day last Sunday. It was great! This store is so much more than a hardware store, it's a gift shop, garden shop, bird supply shop and anything else you may need for your home. They are always helpful, store is clean, bright and cheery.

"Update as of 07/13/23 they reached out to correct or help with the issue I responded to there reach out and have not heard back as of yet" You have a product in the wrong spot and you make it my fault that you do not honor the price marked. Why or how is it my fault that you can not stock shelves correct or front your shelves. The store is over priced I would say shop around it is not worth your time to go to this store. You also have a rude manager on duty I will never come back to this place.

This store is a true gem in the hardware store category. This kind of family run store just emanates from its employees.I was in the market for a few things today one was bird seed and one was and outdoor light figures. As I entered the store and nice older gentlemen came up to me and asked if I need help finding anything ? I told him what I was looking for and he processed to walk me right to the bird seed and proceeded to tell me which one was the best for the type of birds I feed than he walked me right over to lighting explained to another gentleman what I needed and he did the same thing.I love this store these guys are first class

We've been coming here for a couple decades now. Don runs hands down the best Ace hardware in the region. Well stocked and recently expanded. Great help desk and Department folks - very knowledgeable in their respective trades. Cashiers are always pleasant. Customer service woman was not very helpful last time I was in. But the owner, Don, reached out to me and made things right.

Always good place to shop and very helpful.Disappointed they didn't honor May Ace Awards coupon since we were in red through May and what I bought wouldn't be considered essential. And there were no June coupons.Have a great update and the reason you need to shop this hardware store. The owner reached out to me with concerns about the post. We had a great discussion about the situation and how things are evolving in today's environment. He had concerns about his cashiers response and I assured him it was fine. He offered to send me a coupon which wasn't necessary but he did anyway. It is tremendous to have a business owner reach out with genuine concern about a customer. Thanks again to Ace for their concern.
