Excellent setup for washing our dog. The room is completely private which was nice for our nervous dog. Towel rental is $2, and you can bring your own shampoo or buy a bottle at the store. They have a wet brush available and a dryer. They also have leads that attach to the tub to keep your pupper from jumping out of it. Pricing was reasonable. It was somewhere around $18 for the bath and included the blow dryer.

Super friendly staff, and knowledgeable! When I bring treats to some of our dogs in boarding, we aren't allowed to bring any chicken treats. They were able to help me find a few great options and the pups were thrilled!

The owners of Bark Ave are knowledgeable and very friendly! We originally went in as one of our dogs coats had always been flaky and we couldn’t get ahead of it. Debbie recommended food changes and that felt like a good place to start. By the end of the first bag we saw a difference in her skin and as a bonus her eye mucus also cleared up. We now include raw in their diet and our dogs health and appearance is noticeable improved. Great store too!

Excellent pet store with high quality food and products. The owners are very knowledgeable of pets and how to feed them and keep them healthy. They also do grooming. Today was their yearly anniversary sale with quality food vendors, rescue groups and a pet parade. This is our westie Owin as a bumblebee for the parade.

I couldn’t say enough about this place! it’s family owned, which is huge to me, so I stopped in to grab “Fluff and Tuff” dog toys because I heard they had them, which are Pitbull approved, they are the best stuffies for your chewers! But the owner was there and helped with everything, she also guided me to the dog food and told me all about all the other locally owned businesses that make excellent dog food, that’s 100% our next step is to switch food — she was so helpful and kind! this is 100% going to be my go-to pet store! 🐾

I’ve been a customer since 2010, and the ladies at Bark Ave have been so helpful and supportive over the years, as there have been different allergy hurdles to figure out with various animals. Truly a wonderful place to go to, for more than just what supplies you may need for your animals. Service and care that’s hard to find elsewhere!

Truly fantastic service, all around! I have never frequented a business that makes you feel like family quite like Bark Ave does. We walked in a week before adopting our first pup, they helped us get every bit of supplies we needed, all with the benefit of sage-level advice, and then some! Our dog is nearly 2 now and the owner still remembers just about everything we tell her, whether its food related issues, grooming, appropriate harnesses, dog beds, you name it. You're guarenteed to get what you're looking for from people who genuinely care.10/10 cannot reccomend this place enough (and I have to fellow neighbors).

10/10 recommend this shop for dog food, treats, and custom wooden dog bowl holders. I really had a great experience talking with one of the owners and figuring out a good couple of dog food brands to help with my two hounds. I felt very comfortable asking questions and receiving very thorough and informative responses on what would benefit my two beagle mixes the most. I also received a couple of samples for them to try out!

I have loved this place since I first stepped foot in it at least 5 years ago. First it's a PRIVATELY OWNED store, not a chain, which in today's world is SO IMPORTANT. ➡️America was built on small businesses so PLEASE support them❤. The moment you walk in your always greeted warmly and genuinely by the owner. I can't say enough positive about her, she's incredibly kind and genuine and knows her stuff, one of my very favorite things is that they carry brands and products they believe in that speaks volumes to me as people. They have a HUGE variety of both dog and cat items in this large boutiquey store. Everything is so clean and homey. They carry everything even the brands i cannot find anywhere else. When you buy chews and food from large Walmart and large chains you're playing with your dogs life and I speak from experience here. I bought water Buffalo horns from both a chain and Amazon and it almost killed both my dogs. Here they sell the right horns and it's the only place I'll get them. They SUPPORT LOCAL VENDORS, MILITARY AND OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES. There's a dog wash here and even pictures with Santa. My point is, this place is phenomenal and the ➡️PRICES ARE VERY VERY REASONABLE⬅️, don't think because it's a small store is anything but. PLEASE STOP supporting China, shop small and give these truly good people your business. Thank you for all your time and all the amazing work you do.

I do not recommend bark ave for grooming services. They are very rude and cannot keep groomers because they treat their employees like they are slaves. The owners groomed my dog twice and he had cuts all over his body. Other people that I know said the same thing so please do not use them.

Great speciality shop for dog and cat supplies you can tell the owners truly care and believe in the products they sell. So you know you are getting quality items but with that comes a higher price tag. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Prefer to shop these local stores. Great place for anything pet related. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Went to this store to purchase elk bones for our dog. They had a wide selection of the items I was shopping for and tried some things I had not seen before. Large store, well organized.

In love with Bark Ave. They only sell the best quality stuff for your pets. And the lady was so informative about everything and even made a bow for my doggy for July 4th! Also found out you can self-groom your dog there for $15. Definitely going there in the fall for that!

Horrible experience!! They don’t care about customers at all!! I was running 15-20 minutes late for my dogs grooming appointment because there was accident on the road. I called prior to the appointment but no answer. I left a message as instructed by their message. I explained what was happening and that I will be 15-20 min late but wanted to keep appointment and was ok if they couldn’t do everything. I got there with my dog 15 min late and was told by the groomer that the appointment was filled. I was shocked! She said she didn’t listen to the message but tried to call me. I had been a longtime customer and was shocked they would do that. I went into the store to talk with the manager Tiffany to reschedule for the next week. She refused to do that and said she could put me on their waitlist! I wasn’t going to leave this comment but the more people I tell are just shocked. My hairdresser told me she would never do that to a customer! I have also heard more complaints from others about this place. They are kind and helpful until you need them to be a bit flexible!!! Don’t waste your time . They are overpriced and there are other wonderful places nearby!

This is a small, local business which provides options for quality items and healthy food. We adopted a puppy over a year ago - and we are new to the dog-owning world. Bark Avenue staff and the owner has been of great assistance to us in everything from selecting the right harness to the best food for our price range. Our pup LOVES the elk antlers and they last for months. If you want to support small businesses in the community, we have found this to be a great place to shop.

Turned away a filthy all white boxer, who you can see isn’t covered in fleas, but did just come off the street and we found 2 fleas on her… they said the “whole room would get infested”. I’m sorry, but are they asking all the customers who walk in the door if their pet has fleas? Doesn’t common sense indicate that a dog with fleas who is testing out beds or coats would be a better candidate for infesting… not just the bathing room, but the entire store? Self bathing is overpriced anyway.

Bark Ave is the only place we will go for grooming. Holly and Kirsten treated our pups so good and made them beautiful again! No razor lines in their coats, nails are smooth, and they smell great! So glad that Bark Ave is our local pet shop!

Bark Avenue Pet Supplies helped me out during a rough spot. There was a tick issue while visiting family. Being from out of the area, I searched for a shop that was not a big chain. They groomed my dog and checked her for ticks. Thankfully, none were found.I greatly appreciate them making time for me and my dog on short notice. I will definitely visit this store when I am in town in the future.Thanks Everyone!!!

Today was my first experience at Bark Ave. All of the employees were extremely friendly and personable. They put together a welcome bundle for my new dog that I rescued. All of the food and treats they gave me were high quality products. I don’t plan on ever going to another pet store!!!
