This is a great place if you need building supplies, house items, it has a place you can get plants and a holiday decor too! The staff was very nice, she helped me find what I was looking for and the man who checked me out was friendly also. I had went a few months ago to get 1 18 foot plank, they cut it to the sizes I needed for free and they were chill. I used the planks and cut the even further and sanded, stained and glazed it. A lot of my supplies came from home Depot.

Went in to the store regarding a blind for our living room window that stopped working. We purchased it about 5 years ago. The gentleman in that department got on the phone with Bali and set up a phone number & name for us to contact when we got home. No hassle or waiting time, and nobody walked away from us because we had an issue. We will continue purchasing items through this store.

Drove from Chambersburg to Hanover to shop at Home Depot and at first was very pleased with the experience. The 2 women in the paint area were extremely friendly and helpful with our needs. Then came the undesirables! We were trying to decide what we needed in isle 5, wire covers for our newly installed wall mounted TV. 2 Sales persons, 1 male and 1 female, asked us to move down since they needed to access material with the order picker. We gladly moved and then they asked us to move more which we did. Then, a 3rd sales person (female) came into the isle. They asked us to leave the isle! How RUDE was that? We had been trying to decide which pieces we needed and were so pleased with the varieties vs Lowes. I immediately laid down the items we had searched so hard to find and moved on. As i was walking away i stated, i want to talk with a mgr. The women that closed the isle looked and said, I can see you are upset, what can I help you with? I stated, you just kicked us out of the isle!!Unbelievable and VERY POOR Customer interaction.

I spent 30 minutes sorting through completely damaged pieces of plywood. The 1/4" sande plywood sheets were trashed and I went 6 sheets down to find one that wasn't messed up. Then I had the same problem with the 23/32" (3/4") birch? sheets. Since I will be using them for cabinets, they too cannot be messed up with smashed corners or surfaces that are destroyed, scuffed, or painted. I went to check out and the guy at the Pro Desk noticed that the one I had in my cart was also jacked up. I went back and couldn't find a replacement. The two star review however is because when I went in a few days later, the same jacked up pieces of plywood that I sat out were PUT BACK ON THE PILES. MANAGEMENT needs to sort through this junk wood and send it back. Nobody is buying it so all you are doing is pissing customers off because they have to pull out 10+ sheets of plywood before a normal one is found. Then they go back on the top of the stack for the next customer to remove and sit out.

There must have had at least 10 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing arms folded chit chatting with each other . While watching as I loaded 40 or so 25 lb block on to my cart and push it through the store with much effort . John who has been with home depot 27 years was the only one who physically helped or even acknowledged I needed help from the time he first seen me (the guy in lumber did direct me to the block) 2 of the garden area employees walked by me 3 or 4 times and still not a word and John found me and came to my rescue (it was 90 degrees out ) he and a man that was waiting in his care loaded the block in my car . I didn’t realize how heavy or how many I needed till my boyfriend sent me there sent the text I apologize for the amount and that all the other places closer to home where all out but want to at least say thanks John and stranger in Hanover . You two definitely made my attitude change as I left:) thanks a bunch

poor selection in general, lumber is a struggle, usually they're out of what you need or they just never restock. this morning was particularly frustrating. they had no lumber carts in the building as usual, so I walked outside to get one from the parking lot and saw a home Depot employee pushing one towards the building. so I asked for the cart and he said no it's for a customer and kept walking. now in my opinion the right thing to do would be give me that cart and go grab another one, I don't know why he would only bring one cart in when there isn't a single one in the store as it is. poor customer service in general. I've started going to Lowe's

Worst experience as a product supplier, refused to return or refund products damaged by Home Depot workers and trucks, or provide replacements for "life-time warranty" defects. All this, within 30 days of purchase, regardless of HD's 90 days statements. Basically, I have to go to court to recover any loses from HD negligence. AVOID THIS STORE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE

I had to return an item purchased 2 days before, Diana at the return desk was absolutely amazing, for as busy as the return desk was she went above and beyond to help me. Then, Sam at the checkout was so helpful in getting my heavy equipment into my vehicle for me. Nice place friendly staff!

Went in for a propane exchange on Sunday morning, no one showed up after they said they would be out. After waiting about 10 minutes I went back i the store and asked if anyone was coming. One employee did end up helping after an eye roll and an “I guess”. A lot of the employees need fired or an attitude check, with a work ethic like that.

Their prime 2x4's are actually prime and better pickings than Lowe's. Sorry Lowe's, I usually like you best, but your wood sucks and is the same price as Home Depo. Workers were walking around for us to ask questions. Found a pair of gloves on a clip strip that definitely said like $3.18. Needed them in the store to move patio stone, and they ended up being $8.99 instead. Still bought them, I already used them 🤷‍♀️

Recently needed to replace our garbage disposal. Used the Hanover Home Depot website to identify the item I needed; confirmed it was in stock, as well as where it could be found in the store. Went to store, found the item exactly where expected, and purchased at a good price; installation was a breeze. Yet another positive experience as a Hanover Home Depot customer; confident it won't be my last .

I have used several different locations as some have what I need in stock, if not I have ordered things online and picked them up at the store or has them shipped to the house. Either way it has been a great experience.

I would stay away for the tool Rental. Charged me twice for it then refused to return the second charge, $239.79. Not a small fee either. The entire store is full of incompetent people, manager included. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this store.

The worst Home Depot I’ve been to. I had an “exclusive to them” item but no receipt and just asked for a store credit. Paul said he couldn’t do that because it would take too much work and that I needed to buy above the amount of items to exchange. Frustrating, but fine. Then when we went to do it, he called Pat the asst manager over. She was nasty, the way she spoke, the way she looked at me. She said she couldn’t do anything since I didn’t have a receipt. We ended up finding the purchase via a card but she wanted to reimburse us $20 less than it sells for and when I asked why she said that was the price. I said it wasn’t and Paul mentioned that it was more when he scanned it. She then said again that it was the price but looked and spoke at me like I was a child being disciplined. Such a piercing stare like she was so angry at me, and I’m a very nice person, even when I shouldn’t be. Thankfully another asst manager Lauren walked by and when I asked her, she kindly and simply explained I am getting the lesser price back bc they go by the lowest price it sold for in the past. Simple, makes sense, 100% fine with that. Then Paul proceeded to hand me a store credit (what I wanted in the first place), just for me to hand it back to him to pay for the purchase. I understand maybe Paul was learning, but Pat honestly was so mean for no reason and I will not ever go back to that Home Depot, or any for that matter.

Typical Home Depot. We had to have some paint mixed. The guy at the paint desk was very helpful in explaining the various brand offerings. We found what we needed and didn't experience any problems with the self checkout.

Ordered materials online and chose a delivery date. On delivery day, I had to pick up hangers at the store. I was told there that my delivery should be between 9 and 11. At 12 I called and was told the truck hasn't been loaded yet. At 5 I was told the truck is on its way. At 6 I was told the truck is a few mins away and at 630 I was told that my delivery was to be rescheduled 3 days later because they overbooked. So I have a schedule to keep as a contractor and guys to pay and they only want to deduct $100 for my inconvenience and wasted time of waiting all day. So they can deduct money from an account within seconds but can't put it back until 5 days later after the order is canceled. These big box stores don't care about anybody but themselves. They could care less if I never shop there again.

Got misdirected by cashier for mulch. Jeff walked all over the garden section and found my mulch out back. He graciously waited for me to get my car and.loaded for me. Excellent customer service!

I am continously blown away by the professionalism and top notch customer service at Hanover Home Depot. We had a challenging order and the crew stayed and helped us... even after the store closed. Thank you Mike, Darrick, Diana, and Sam for getting us through and helping us with our project!!!

I had an outstanding experience at Home Depot today. I'm not much of a carpenter and I had taken the project of building a masculine bed base with canopy using conduit and shelving wood. Sound odd well that's because I tend to think way out side the box. Nonetheless, the experts at Hanover Home Depot helped brainstorm my idea. Alan in plumbing and the 2 young men in lumber really came through for me. They provided suggestions and gathered the supplies I needed. They even did all my cut work for me. The customer service desk was very accommodating and pleasant to work with, as well. There's something to be said about great customer service especially when it's rare to find these days. I'll certainly continue to use Hanover Home Depot for all my future wacky projects. 😊

120$ turned into 157$ because I was 2 hours late returning a pressure washer. No leeway, no understanding that people have to work (I returned it right before 5pm on a Friday and had rented it at about 3 on Thursday) and can't exactly skip out early to return a tool. Don't rent from these people, it's cheaper to hire someone to do the job. Unbelievably bad customer service and the employees are drones that just comply with policy even if it's ridiculous. Never coming here again, I've never had a good experience at Home Depot, especially this one.
