I have been going to this store for years. I pay for vital care. I am in weekly for pet supplies. Today my wife attempted to buy a frog. The man helping her asked how big the tank was. She replied 30 gallon. The manager standing beside the man immediately jumped in and said no no no I will not sell one to you that tank is too big. When my wife informed her that we have other tanks that are smaller she "didn't hear". Not once did this "manager" ask what else was in the tank. What the water level was in the tank, etc. The sole piece of information she needed to make a decision was the volume of the tank that it could potentially hold in water. When my wife became frustrated the manager refused service and asked us to leave. Told us she could not contact her manager. Then proceeded to call said manager to confirm she could kick us out. However not to actually assist the customer or get any actual information. I have never had any issues with the normal floor workers. But this manager was incredibly unprofessional and not at all knowledgeable for someone who is a manager of a pet store and "knows best"/"doesn't want pets to die". Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. I will not be returning and will be cancelling vital care. If this is the level of customer service, professionalism, knowledge it takes to run a store like this these days this place won't be in business much longer.

Absolutely the worst experience. Was checking out after getting two pet mice, manager at the front quick with an attitude, expressed concern to another employee over policy which should have been done professionally by being pulled aside rather than a whole lecture up front of the WHOLE store and customers. Meanwhile employees continued their banter over the subject, then processed to leave me out of the conversation, which left me confused, annoyed and frustrated. Instead of walking me through the process they brush it off as to not care. 10/10 manger is so argumentative this isn’t the first of her ignorance to professionalism. Later to hear same manager called me slurs of a female dog which I heard from another customer later in the day. Worst customer service.

I come here often to get kitty litter for my cats. Once I fill the container, I cannot lift it. After I pay, I always ask if someone would lift this out of the cart and put it in my car. They do it every time.Thank you Petco! You are the BEST!

Animals are all very Healthy! Have never seen a dead fish or anything here unlike other pet stores. Very clean and animals are all very well taken care of. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.

It's a nice place to go, they have everything but not cheap, it's pricey, but then again what isn't? I feel very sorry for the cats that come here to get adopted some can be there for at least 90 days. They are well taken care of. But I wonder where they go to after their not adopted? I can't take them all wish I could.

My dogs and I love going to Petco. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. So, whenever I have a question or concern with my 2 dogs, 2 fish, 2 snails, or crested gecko, they're a huge help.

Get my Rotti groomed here. Your not gonna find a better lady to groom your dog than Heather. She is amazing with her and so so Kind. Roxie loves seeing her. So give it a try its Soooo worth it !!! Wouldnt take her anywhere else 👍

The staff is always incredibly friendly.Not sure if I just happen to place pickup orders at slow times, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten the, "ready to pick up" email within 10-15 minutes every order. Not expected, but pretty awesome.

Bland pet store. Over priced pretty much everything. Employee was rude as hell to me and my 2 kids when we went to purchase a hamster. Needed me to prove I was over 18I'm literally almost 30 with 2 children lol I don't even get carded at the liquor store

Unfortunately there is no answering machine message to let you know about appointments or services for grooming. I'm sure it's hard being understaffed. It would serve the customers and aid the employees to have information on the phone. Such as how to make an appointment, which services are provided by appointment, and to practice understanding due to lack of staff.

They usually have the food I'm looking for in the same place every time. My kiddo likes to look at all the animals and they seem to be in clean habitats each time and appear to be happy and healthy. Store seems clean also. Prices are fair. Sometimes cashier is away from register but there is a bell to ding

They should NOT be aloud to sell chinchillas! They keep them in these very unsafe glass Aquarium which is way too hot for them because the temperature should never get above 72 also with paper bedding and wheels that are way to small that can damage their spine and plastic is horrible for them if eatten. They also sell you unsafe things for them. All they care about is money! Do not buy a chin from here or any other pet store! Find a reputable breeder or a rescue. These poor chins are normally sick and die. Before I knew any better I bought my first two from here and the one died a week later!

I visit once a month for Spa Day for Skye (jug). Heather is the sweetest I ever meet. Skye loves her. Heather is respectful & generous. The only reason I'm still at this location is because of Heather. They are very reasonable.

I have been in your store several times, trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but nothing has changed. The lady that runs the fish department needs a new attitude. She’s extremely rude and very belittling to customers. I had questions and had my 2 year old grandson with me, whom she was rude to, she acted like it was a bother to help me much less get me a fish( which died 4 days later!). I will not be going back until there is friendlier help in the store. I will shop Pet Smart which is willing to help their customers not belittle them!
