Stopped here on my lunch break when I was in the area. What a huge selection of fishing supplies. The staff member on duty was exceptionally kind and helpful. Well, there are not a vast rate of flyfishing supplies, there are items in the store for fisherman of all varieties: freshwater, saltwater, fly, spinner, bait fish, etc.. you’ll find something for everybody on your shopping list. Plan on spending some time here. My only disappointment was I only had my lunch break. I’ll be back again and again. they also had a large variety of maps and used books as well as new. Don’t miss your chance. Stop here today. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a hidden jem. They have a great selection for all needs and the owner was a really nice person and even his younger( kids) were surprisingly knowledgeable. This place will definitely get more of my money

This doesn't appear to be much from the outside. However the customer service is a solid 100%! I called needing red wigglers for our axolotl pets. The gentleman stayed open after closing hours to insure we were able to get the worms needed. They are healthy plump and all alive! 10/10 recommended this place. We will stop here weekly from now on so to feed our little guys!

My Son said he would like to get back into fishing after our 10+ absents from the sport. A coworker told me about B&B so my son and I drove up from Westminster on 3/12/23, we spent well over an hour in the store getting help from the entire staff on what to buy, how to cast with a bait caster (took my son out to the parking lot and gave him a quick lesson), what lures to use and when to use them (clear or cloudy water) and where to fish.As long as keep fishing I'll keep going up to B&B for everything. They have an extremely helpful staff that is very knowledgeable about their passion for fishing.

B&B is one of the best bait shops I've ever been to. Prices are as good if not better than the big outdoor stores but the service is 100x better. They don't just try to sell you tackle, they educate you and help you be a better angler.

If I could go 6 stars I would. Great staff. Knowledgeable. Took time to walk a noob (me) through what and how in a demo tank. No judgment on skill, what or where you're fishing. Got me doing what I wanted, fishing with enthusiasm. Very well stocked store. Good deals. Time to get jiggy with it and try something new.

Family ran tackle shop with advanced tackle and equipment. They have the hot baits that catch fish. They also have small local brands you can't find anywhere else. Great selection of lines and leaders as well with the best brands in the game. They also sell used and refurbished reels and rods. They repair trolling motors. The staff has always treated me like family. In comparison the big box outdoor stores are somtimes far away and have limited selection with recent shortages. I would highly recommend B&B if your in the south central PA area. The store is well stocked with the latest baits and very helpful.

Drove up here from Frederick (made a whole day out of the trip) to get a new rod/reel combo. Customer service was the best, selection was larger than expected and prices were super reasonable. I got my new rod and reel, some insight and some light tackle fora very fair price (better than amazon as I later found) Great shop!

My son who is 10 loves to come here to pick things for his birthday. Very happy that Gordon Brady always patiently helps us pick the best bait for whatever we are trying to fish for. He has expert knowledge of Lake Marburg. Love buying local from their huge selection!

I just got back into fishing and had a ton of questions for these guys which they answered! They were very helpful, enthusiastic, and didn't talk down to me they way I have been at other shops. Great advice and absolutely no pressure in their selling. They're a bit out of the way for me but are well worth the drive. Highly recommended. Would give ten stars if I could!

I brought them a Shimano reel that I use in saltwater for service and maintenance. The Covid19 ordeal put a crimp in their work times but they did get my reel up and running good for me in time for my trip to Cape Cod. I caught some good fish and the reel worked great. I highly recommend B&B for reel repair for your quality gear.

Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I stopped in to get some help casting. I'm new to fishing and wasn't sure if it was me or my gear. Nathan and Blake were more than happy to help. Ends up I had too heavy a line for the jigs I was using, and my rod is a bit stiff for pan fishing. They showed me another combo and respooled my setup with 6# test while we chatted.I had a nice time talking with the guys working and they helped me out a lot. Being new I expected a bit of hazing but I got the opposite, a warm welcome to the world of fishing. That day I caught a bunch of panfishing and I have them to thank for pointing me in the right direction.It's a well stocked shop, too. Everything from little trout and panfishing jigs to heavy catfish and bass rigs. Rods, reels, clothes, bags, trailer hitches installed as well. They have it all. Nice selection of second hand rods and reels too.This is a great shop a few minutes from Lake Marburg. Anything I need while I'm out that way I won't hesitate to stop back in. Thanks guys!
