To me its not an average hardware store. I love Mountain view. They have a large Carhartt clothing choice! They have different items that you usually wouldnt find and some natural products. I love how unique it is.

I love Ace Mountain View Hardware...ACE Hardware and Rental has everything i need under one roof for my home,gardening,and special project needs....whether its plumbing,electrical,painting,gardening,or that odd tool i dont have,i can get it at Mountainview....Everytime i walk through the door im welcomed by the kind friendly staff...i get like a kid in a candy store always looking at the new gadgets or the tool isles....i wish i could just buy 1 of everything in the store...the employees at Mountain View are very knowledgeable of their products and stand behind each sale.....I'm always a happy customer and look forward to going back again and again....I Can Always Count On ACE!!!!

For the past year I have been ordering my dog food through them. They put my name on the bags so they're not to be sold. When I had called to make sure there was some in stock before I drove from Temple to pick it up they informed me there was 3 in stock. When I showed up 3 days later I was informed that they were somehow sold and my name was removed from the bags. They were unable to order more for me due to having to order a minimum of $700 from the supplier. Needless to say I had to order from another supplier which they took 2 weeks to deliver the dog food and I was forced to blend in a new dog food for my dogs which reeked havoc on their stomachs. Still left boggled that they left me high and dry.

never before have i been i experienced more lackluster customer service. walked past two associates at the door, and they seemed to act as thougg i wasnt there. looked around store and definitely could not find what i was looking for, and all the other staff team were more interested in small talk with each other than helping me find my purchase. thankfully i was able to help myself sort out an odd sized purchase while juggling a young toddler. cashier had as much enthusiasm as a cactus. god forbid one responsibly wears a mask in this store. I'm so sorry to have bothered you. i won't do it again.

My new favorite store. I have just moved to around shartlesville and I love the home town feel and this place has everything you could need. Looks small from the outside but is actually pretty big and I have yet to go here and not come out with what I need. UPDATE: After living here about a year I still love this place. They have everything I need and is my goto spot for anything home or yard related.

I rarely leave a review but the great customer service I've experienced here was beyond fantastic. I rented a post driver for a large fencing project I'm working on. I've never used one of these machines before and needed a part to get it to attach to my truck. They loaned me one at no charge. They were extremely helpful and great to work with.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. This is a local hotspot. They are also pet friendly and will give your furry friends a treat! The main sections are paint, gardening, Stihl, grilling/Yeti, home improvement, and pet/farm supplies. They also added a building for pet feed. You can rent equipment here as well.

I've only been here a few times since I moved into the area. But this place is great. They have virtually everything you need from hunting, fishing and dog licenses to hardware to pet supplies. They even have stuff in stock that the big box stores don't. Awesome place!!

I brought in a paint chip and they color matched PERFECT. See photo. Can you tell where i removed an air conditioner?Then I got another can of paint for free, due to a promo. This store usually carries plenty of inventory to cover the Ace Hardware sales, but you need to be registered under the rewards program. Employees are generally eager to do a good job.

Hands down the best Ace Hardware store I have been to! I ordered a blower from them as a surprise for my husband, as the Ace near me didnt carry it. They were so kind and explained the piece of equipment to me and took the time to answer my questions. Not to mention, they kindly put the blower in my car for me. Some of the best customer service!

Was low key irritated because I went on “black Friday” because they offered a coupon for one regular priced item to be 50% off. When I got there and wanted horse feed and dog food they informed me it didn’t cover any animal food, dog, horse, etc..BUT the coupon didn’t mention anything in the fine print about that and the store did not announce that on their Facebook page like they could have. I went out of my way to go there and honestly for the $12 dollars I would have saved on only one item, they should have given it since their coupon didn’t not exclude it. Not only that but their feed is 4 dollars more per bag then their two nearest competitors. I would have loved to be a customer because their store is beautiful and their employees are so nice, but for that price I can go to a pretty much identical homey hardware and feed store for much cheaper🤷‍♀️Luckily a purina store down the road was able make it up to us with a holiday discount and had fun giveaways to boot.This is not the first time I’ve struggled with this store and ordered $900 worth of gates and was told a weeks time delivery and despite my calls waited over two months, without a curtesy call to let me know. In fact they wouldn’t even tell me when I called in just would say that it still wasn’t in.-Owner of a Great Dane and 6 horses.

A great example of a hometown hardware store. They don't have everything the big box stores have but I prefer this type of store. The staff is friendly and will help you find what you need. It's pet friendly as well which is always a plus for me.

Monday was a snow storm unlike any in the near recent past. We had finally made the decision to purchase a snowblower, but 1) waited too long and 2) did not have a vehicle large enough to transport it to our home. We called Mountain View Supply and they had a snow blower. That was the first miracle. The next miracle was that they delivered it to us as the snow was fiercely falling. I am still amazed at their customer service. Well done! We can not thank you enough!
