Tried to return items without a receipt. All 3 items in new condition. No damage or use. I was told store policy has changed and returns are no longer permitted without a receipt. No store credit will be issued. Very disappointing. Never pay cash here again for anything……if I come back.

I am a Lowe’s go to man. I am a general contractor and use the pro services when I can. I will pass a Home Depot to go to a Lowe’s. This Lowe’s is newer with a lot of space and products to choose from. They accept coupons on your phone if you have one. Customer service was good. Comparable prices.

Show 500+ bags of black mulch available for pickup, only to get to the store and the employees tell me they are out of it and won’t bother to find the remaining 500+ bags. Wasted an hour of my time for lazy employees.

Terrible place to work. Management are good people (except the store manager). All 3 ASM's are respectful and generally get along with employees. The issue is that they all manage very differently. It makes day to day work frustrating because you might get 3 different answers for things. I worked overnights, and the communication was terrible. It is very difficult to accomplish anything if it needs advice or communication from management. We also had only 4 people plus 2 supervisors. On truck nights, it was always a pain because we'd end up doing work that should require 8 or so people. We'd be down to 2 sometimes and unrealistic expectations were still put on us. Day time people don't care about anything. We are supposed to scan products in and out of locations. They did not do that. We'd come across unscanned product all the time when downstocking. Nothing is done to correct this. There is a lot of careless behavior that goes on at this lowes and it is never corrected. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this lowes for employment. Customers, also stear away from outside garden. Bird poop everywhere and it is generally a very poorly maintained part of the store.

Went to Lowe’s to look at Trex decking. Val was very knowledgable, and helped us every step of the way! From ordering to delivery everyone we spoke to at the Hamburg Lowe’s made it easy. Highly recommend them!

First off let me start by saying this is a review of lowes as a company, all the employees I dealt with were friendly and just doing their job. I bought a lawn mower from lowes that was on clearance because they had to replace a drain plug, no big deal or so I thought paid for the mower and set up delivery as I don’t have a trailer big enough to get it home. Upon receiving the mower there were gouges through the paint down to bare metal all over the mower and it was put on a skid so that it wasn’t possible to drive it off I had to lift the mower and cut the skid apart. Called customer service sent them pictures of the damage and was told that since the mower had already been marked down there was nothing they could do… I paid $3700 for a mower that was damaged while still in their possession and they are not willing to do ANYTHING. Is that how little lowes thinks of their customers? I will not do business with lowes ever again and I’d urge you to do the same

Tried to order carpet here. It took a week to get someone out to measure area and another week to call with a quote. The installation isn't done by Lowe's. It's confusing when you have questions. Not a good experience. I'm going somewhere else.

February 10th, 2024 I purchased some ZEP mold and mildew cleaner from the Hamburg store. I placed the gallon jug on the counter at the self check-out. My hand was wet and smelled like bleach. The cap came partially off and leaked. The check out person told me to grab another, which I did. I used it on some lawn furniture. It worked well. February 18th, I grabbed two more gallons so I could do a patio area in Spring. Both gallon jugs caps left loose on my ride home leaving Zep mold and mildew cleaner all over the interior passenger side of my new Tundra. "Bleach" it says on the bottle. When I called the store, I was told to complain to Zep. They didn't ask if I was fine or warn me of health hazards, didn't offer to look up the Zep phone number for me or call on my behalf, obviously didn't offer to have my truck cleaned or repaired. They just told me to call Zep. I don't know why the manager wouldn't speak to me, but I did get a customer service rep who offered some cleaners - "maybe" - to help me out.

Very spacious. Not as busy as other locations so you can get in and get out fairly quickly if you're in a hurry. Everything is well organized and sorted which makes that even better.

The store is far too cluttered with temporary product displays in the main aisles. Only self checkout is available, again the area is too cluttered. The self checkout system provides no means to use Speed Codes for fasteners, nor does it allow entry of the 6-digit item number.

I purchased a washer last month. First, it was not in stock that I could take it home, second delivery was to be two days or less, they give you a time from of 8am to pm like really who can afford to miss a day of work, then I had to ask for a weekend delivery so Sunday it was to come was given a four hour window 2:30-6:30 .. I’m still waiting. It’s not here. Wasted a whole day off waiting for this washer. Lowes needs to get their act together, have products in stock in their stores, customers do not have time to wait on delivery especially with the time frame that is given. Really disgusted for what you pay and the nonsense you go through it’s ridiculous!!!

Blowes gets zero stars for their LOUSY customer service. Customer service is a joke to them. I purchased a fridge online. The day I paid for it, I had my bank increase my spending limit on my card (this helps prevent someone from stealing thousands of dollars from me if my card was compromised). I kept checking my order and saw there was no charge on my card. A few days later , my purchase failed because Blowes can't initiate a purchase on the day you purchase an item. If it was pending from the initial purchase date, it probably would process just fine. Called "customer service" ...No dice... waiting on hold forever. I decided to come in to the local Blowes in Hamburg to speak with someone at "customer service" . That was a huge mistake! There was a bridge troll behind the "customer service" desk who could barely speak and barely read. She was rude and did absolutely nothing to resolve the issues. I later spoke to a quasi-manager , on the phone, who explained how Blowes' dysfunctional policies and procedures don't have a favorable outcome for the customer. I said to him, "I am not a Blowes employee but couldn't (so called) "customer service" have helped me cancel the online order and then I purchase the same refrigerator right there in the store ,splitting my payment (Cash and card) to allow for Blowes' stupid policy of charging my card days afterwards and thus solving the problem? He said YES. I am not a Blowes employee and even I could figure that out. So the bridge troll LIED when she said that Blowes charges my card when they load the fridge on the truck (8 days from when I write this and 8 days after the payment failed). She needs to be retrained and instructed NOT to LIE to customers. She needs to be taught how to speak intelligently and not talk over customers who have a legitimate problem with Blowes' stupid procedures and policies. I am sure not all Blowes employees are like the mental midget bridge troll that I had to deal with, but they need to fire dead weight like that. I found the same brand name fridge locally for the same cost and I am buying it from a family owned store. Blowes lost my $1500 sale today (I cancelled my order) and many future purchases are going elsewhere. That is why I call them BLOWES , because the store BLOWS.

Why is it only self check out? They have “employees” standing around at the self check out (talking to each other and not helping) but no lanes open for employees to check your items out!!! I spent $1300 on household items (bought a home) and had to check out all items by myself! Not sure why those employees are making a paycheck!! EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED BY LOWES!! Do better!!!

I was just there this morning and walked in to a staff meeting. It was very easy to find someone to help. John was volunteered by his coworkers to take me right where I needed for a special drill bit. I was in and out quickly. What a good natured crew!

They can't get dependable help because they don't know how to treat their help and they can't afford to pay enough to keep dependable help. It's hard for me to believe that the employees making big salaries in corporate aren't sharp enough to figure this out.

My family member purchased a refrigerator there mid July 2023 delivered end of July. By mid September it started running warm. They lost a frig full of groceries. ( we all know how expensive that is) called lowes that had to send repair. It took till Oct 15th till a repairman came out. Now another week for parts. So a month with really no frig. So I as a parent called the store and asked for the appliance mgr. Explained everything. No sympathy. She basically said it is what it is. Lowes policy deal with it and hung up on me! I'm outraged! Horrible customer service at this store. She should be fired. I'm done with Lowes!!! Been a credit card holder with them for years too not anymore! Lowes You Suck. Shame On You. Buyer Beware before you buy a large Appliance from them!!

My husband and I ordered through Lowe’s in person, a refrigerator, a stove and a dishwasher. We got the bundle deal so everything was we ordered.Got told that they will call us in a week when they would ship our stuff. I was like perfect three weeks go by no call no nothing. They even canceled our order without telling us because they lost the shipment . I put a lot of money into this and they didn’t even bother to call me. They lost our order. I was fuming and I hate being a Karen but I’m gonna be a karen. They gave us our money back within two days.

They need to fire Steve, he hangs around back towards lumber, I think in doors and windows? I basically live at this store all year doing a major project. Every time I walk by his zone with a cart full I get eyed up and down, then heckled to check out there. It’s like no, sorry I have more shopping to do. “Oh ok well come back here when your ready.” It’s like no, that’s not convenient at all…sorry. Every. Freaking. Time. Why do I need to explain myself to you?Just leave me alone. He’ll even come down to the lumber checkout and try to pull you back.Then the other day we were looking at flooring, and who else but this guy comes up and starts to heckle about my project, it’s like dude just let us shop. L. He literally just stood there and kept asking questions, and I purposefully gave short answers so he would get the hint…but he didn’t. Literally he then just stood there for a bit and just watched me and my wife. It’s like what’s your deal? Again, he was probably trying to score me to checkout with him idk. Then he finally leaves but says “did you calculate enough for waste cuts.” It’s like, oh no thanks buddy I didn’t think of that, been doing this stuff for a living I for 25 years…this guy is the bane of my existence, and I have honestly been going to Reading even though it’s further away just to avoid this guy.

Got my paint here for all of my bedrooms and downstairs dining room. The people were great and very helpful. Definitely recommend if you want to get paint here wait until it goes on sale! You won’t be disappointed with the paint though! I only needed one can for each of the rooms even though I bought two for each!

Went to go get my $40/$50 can of paint tinted. It is about 4 years old, but I bought it at this Lowe’s.When I asked if they could mix literally a drop of color, I was immediately told it was a no-go, and their policy did not allow it.The can I had was still one of the brands they sell at this location.They didn’t show me a policy where it said older paint cans can’t be tinted. I have had some other cans that I recently purchased tinted within the last year.The manager presumed to tell me “my paint wouldn’t work even if it was tinted because it was too old”, and acted like it was an issue I even asked.I tried the paint before I went to Lowe’s, and it was in amazing condition, so I don’t know why it was such a big deal to her. Even if I got home and ended up having problems with it, I still don't know why it could not be tinted. I was at least going to give it a shot.The adventures one can have when they ask for one drop of tint at this store 😂

The absolute worst customer service. I'd had employees ignore me (after talking directly to their face), give me wrong info, or flat out be completely useless. I've occasionally found a good employee and they just complain that no one else helps them there! I've even had a manager that was helping us with a problem walk away and never come back, and we waited 20 minutes until we gave up and left! Go to local hardwares store Mountain View and Kuzans instead if you can, I do.

Honestly service depends on the day, but I find the service here is considerably good and knowledgeable.One issue is there are times there's but enough staff and you have a to wait a while. It's one place this could use improvement, but still a great store so far.

There were three persons at Hamburg Lowes that were so very helpful today. My friend needed some keys cut and Steve did the cuts. One was not right and Betty, Steve and Frank were able to help us out. They were all very very helpful. They are great listeners and helpers. All three are awesome!! thank you!!
