Cracker Barrel is my comfort food place. It’s known for its southern country style, both in its decorations and food. It was a rainy day, but I was hungry. We got seated immediately, but it was still decently crowded- expect a wait around 6-6:30 pm. I tried the new Golden Carolina BBQ Tenders with steak fries. The BBQ sauce was perfectly tangy and paired well with the fries- needless to say, I finished it all. The atmosphere was nice and service was fast. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Of course, there’s more than just food. The gift shop has an assortment of mostly patriotic clothing and decorations and some signature sauces. Outside is a patio with checkerboards and rocking chairs that you can relax in while you wait to be seated. Cracker Barrel is always a consistent hit.

Always great at Cracker Barrel, this dish was the Carolina BBQ Chicken Tenders meal for a limited time, was very good. Suggest for anyone wanting to try it get it before they pull it from the menu. Also the Cherry Lemonade was awesome too.Parking: Lots of parking, good location right off of PA 61 only a 1/4 mile from the 78 ramps.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right in front of the store.

This spot is fantastic! The food is fabulous, the service is spectacular, the store has super duper stuff, and the atmosphere is astonishing!!! Lol-gotta have a little fun here and there! Honestly, Cracker Barrel, Hamburg PA is a great place with a ton of delicious choices and the cutest little country store! Love it here! One of my favs!Vegetarian options: They will accommodate any vegan or vegetarian by making sure that the plates they are served do not include anything unwanted! Each meal could be customized and the servers and chefs have an easy time making this happen-super great spot for vegetarian or veganDietary restrictions: This spot will customize any meal to meet the dietary expectations of any customer. The chefs are very accommodating,knowledgeable,skilled, experienced, and flexible. I got the "Tips, Strips and Shrimp" dinner. The sirloin tips were quite chewy. The chicken strips and shrimp were fine. I ordered the steak fries as a side. Most places don't know how to cook them leaving them raw on the inside. I asked for them will done. They were done on the inside, but overdone on the outside. They did as I asked, I guess, so I didn't complain.

We eat here as a family about twice a year. I have 6 children and they always treat us well. Good customer service and food. You often have to wait to be seated but it’s worth it. Their peach tea is amazing. Their fries are really good too. The kids meals a a nice portion. Our children enjoy coming here.Parking: If you come when they are busy it can be tricky to find parking.Kid-friendliness: They have boosters and high chairs for children and a nice Kids menu.

The waitress was very good and very friendly. The food was also good. However, it was so freezing cold in the restaurant that I had to go out into the shop and buy a sweatshirt to get warm. My husband's coffee turned cold in less than 5 minutes. I did complain to the staff about how cold it was in there but they said the temp was a little hard to control.Parking: There's usually plenty of convenient parking. During peak hours when the place is full, you may have to park in the outer edge of the lot. But we find that there's always people coming and going so parking has never been an issue.

Good ole comfort food. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was good but the service was great. Our waitress ( I think her name was Kaila) was exceptional. She greeted us smiling, she listened attentively, was efficient and professional in servicing our table but at the same time very personable. I know I may be old school but I also appreciated her grooming. The people handling the food should have a neat appearance and their hair secured. Cracker Barrel is always a go to place for me and my family. Good Time, Thanks.

The best place. Our waiter Tyler was very sweet, and kind.,not along wait. Came and had brunch with my family and we had a wonderful time. Food arrived hot and quickly.Their pancakes was amazing plus the syrups!! YummmmyThe food was really good. The place was clean.I definitely will return.

**UPDATE**Stopped again today and we were served by the best waitress we ever had. Food was exceptional! This location obviously has it figured out. **My husband and I stopped in because I was craving chicken and dumplings. Our server was very attentive and polite. She checked on us several times during our meal. Our food was out very quickly. Both of our meals were hot and delicious! Even the ladies at the checkout were pleasant. Definitely will return.

We were a bit disappointed this time and I hate saying that. I had called and had things set in place for a party of 25 for my grandma's 81st birthday. When we got there no one knew what we were talking about and nothing was ready for us. Our family was all split up and half our guests felt out of place and unincluded. The only thing I can say is the food was good and the waitress was nice. But I won't plan anything important with a big family here ever again.

Got there 10:58 am on May 5'th. Was told 30 to 40 minute wait. Came back 45 minutes later to check,girl at front said we have 27 people still ahead of us. And we KNOW people that were in after us were seated. Told her to take my name off the list. Proceeded to go to another restaurant near by and got a text my table was ready😡Got to the next choice of restaurant and was seated right away. Very dissatisfied today. Will take awhile for me to return if I ever decide to return.

Soon after we received our food we're, attached by flies, The waitress came over to see how everything was going, and we told her, but she apologized and left. Soon after, we asked for the manager because we wanted to could be moved because by this time, the flies were trying to land on our food, which we had to cover with our napkins. He did come, he apologized and moved us. I"m not sure when I'll be back to Crackel Barrel; this was my second bad experience at two different restaurants within 9 months.Angie

Love Cracker Barrel. When I travel, each store has local gift favorites. My goto is the country music CDs. Use the app for seating, especially for busy times like holidays or Mother's Day. Their new berry french toast is an awesome creation idea. I ordered without strawberry syrup. I tried it, but it was very sweet.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly meals and toys.

This was my first Cracker Barrel ever. I've always wanted to go, finally I made it. I really loved the old times decorations. Felt like went back in time and that felt good and relaxing.A waitress who served us was Destiny, beautiful, energetic and caring person. She and the kitchen personnel who she was talking to were extremely nice and understanding beyond our expectations. We don't eat any meat, in restaurants we always go with vegetarian options. So some veggies we ordered were fried in spices which contained meat or meats were rolled in same bowl of spices, and Destiny came back saying that. We really appreciate their concern! My husband and I frequent Cracker Barrel a lot but this particular one has always been our favorite. The staff are always helpful and kind the wait even when there are dozens of people never seems to be long. I did my entire Christmas shopping once in this store.The food as always is cooked to perfection and hot. I got a dinner meal and my husband got a breakfast meal and both were served at the same time and perfect. Can’t wait to go again.

New young waitress was not trained properly. My friend & I had to direct her to do some things. We ordered the Roast Beef dinner, around 2:30pm on Palm Sunday. The beef was very tough & a lot of grissle. All other meals gotten there previously were excellent. This one was disappointing.Parking: Hamburg, Pa. Lots of parking spots.

Can never go wrong with Cracker Barrel (any location) - it’s been my go to place for sever years at this point. Any time I’m on the road it’s always a pleasure to stop by for a nice , tasty , fulfilling meal . Their prices are always very conservative and service feels welcoming and warm. This location is no exception. Plus their gift store got tons of charming souvenirs and decorations.

My husband and I love coming here. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Sometimes it gets hard to maneuver around the shoppers to get to the hostess stand/entrance to the dining area, hence my 4-star review of "atmosphere". We are local so we usually come during the slower time making that less of an issue. I enjoy perusing the store and have purchased a few items. I returned clothing I purchased online that unfortunately didn't fit well and the store accepted the return with no issue. I like the new rewards program, too.

Hamburg Pa location. Service was great and fast! Overall experience in dining room was good. However, while paying my bill. I overheard a young gentleman with his family ask, if there was a military discount. The lady behind the counter apologized and said they don’t offer a discount. I was surprised being they are supposed to be a “hometown” establishment with the slogan “Pleasing People”. What is a 10% discount to someone serving this Country going to matter; In place that’s always busy. Honestly I do not think I’ll patronize this establishment again. Too many other choices that offer discounts and care about our Military Service Men and Women. 🇺🇸
