In the past I rented a skid steer or mini excavator locally from this store. But they have revamped their rental pricing after THEY made bad business decisions. Now instead of renting a piece of equipment for $400-$500, they want nearly $1,000 for that same rental.Is that a way to treat a loyal local customer?I’ve taken my business elsewhere.

Great customer service,they carry many different items & will check with the other hardwares that are local to see if they might have the item you are looking for! The new addition is now their main hardware store & the other side(the orginal store) is for repairs & equipment sales.

The guy who waited on me here. Was incredible. He was an older guy, who was new on the job. He was so accommodating! I needed a tarp because it was raining. He was incredibly helpful!

Absolutely fantastic, they provided efficient, professional and knowledgeable service. Great staff and location, they were always ready to lend a hand with loading. Being a non suburban location I was impressed by the selection and willingness of the staff to answer questions. Lest not forget their mascot-- always at the front door wanting some attention. Look forward to their upcoming Spring selection.

I advise you to pass this store and go straight to Lowe's or home Depot. True value in Halifax pa never has what I need. I have went in the store many times for things they said they didn't have. I understand once or twice but it's Everytime I go there for something. You would think they would stock there inventory better.

The employees here are very helpful with any questions you have. The store has improved very much in the last few years, much better organized than it had been and better stocked. I find myself shopping here much more lately.

Love this place. Very nice people and very knowledgeable. Plus they have a very friendly cat who always happy to greet people. Would recommend this place to anyone expectally cat people. Just remember to greet the cat. He loves attention.

I find that since the modernization of the store it is one of the best in the greater Harrisburg area. Before the upgrade of the store often the item needed it was out of stock however I find that everything needed now is on the shelf. Thumbs Up For Hornung's.

Store is very disorganized, and often not stocked with common products. When they don't have something in stock, I have been told it will be shipped from another location and will call me when it arrives - but they never call. Convenient location.
