I'm a regular customer, they're never too bad but today was horrible I went in and we had bought hair dye and a few other things, we had the guy ring up our stuff and as we were walking out the beeper started beeping (it beeps a lot with certain products you buy), I walked back in because I didn't take anything and the lady was very rude. She asked me if I had taken anything and I told her no because I had not and then she preceded to ask if I took anything again and I told her no and that she could check my purse. She asked me in a very rude manner if I was gonna leave or if she should call the cops. I didn't take anything but obviously I'm not gonna make them call the cops when I didn't take anything I thought we could handle it by looking through my purse quick seeing I didn't take a damn thing but instead she told me flat out goodbye and not to come again. I'm very disappointed and upset about the way it was handled and will be contacting corporate.

The classic appearance was nice to see, but a remodel would be appreciated. Cashiers were both very nice and helped us find everything we set out to get. Was also able to find some older repack football and baseball cards, which can be hard to find in today's market. If in the neighborhood, I would swing by again.

Not a fan of the two workers complaining the entire time I was in the store about their job and being under staffed. Cashier didn’t address me, ask if I wanted a bag (even though I had one boxed item) or tell me to have a good day, just continued to talk to her coworker about how they aren’t able to get their work done with two people as the other was also behind the register sipping her Monster.. plenty of other dollar generals to go to that I don’t get that kind of sub par service.

I am a frequent customer at this location and have many good things to say about the friendly staff and well stocked shelves. However it was disappointing to arrive at 7:56 tonight to return a Rug Doctor machine only to find the doors locked. This means making a second trip in tomorrow to hand it back. I'm sure it's difficult to get rid of people by closing time but the sign states 8:00.

Store you'll most regret driving by! This area has wierdly nice people anyway so that's not all of it. Staff here is as NICE to deal with as the Giant, just up the roadIt's a great store for the big items like laundry soap, soda, awkward plastic bins? Cheap! There's always something fun, too, and seriously, unexpected?A nutcracker music box, from The Dollar Store? It was pretty nice, too. Crazy! So yes, little addicted to this place.

One of the few Dollar General Stores that was not built new. This was a older building they bought and renovated. They seem to train people here since it's not uncommon to see 15 - 20 people working here on any given day. The store is usually stocked pretty good with staff that are fairly friendly. Prices are in line with the other places around.

Employees had very snotty attitudes from the minute we walked in the door ! DEFINITELY NOT PLEASED ! Iv taken customer service classes for past jobs and they could 110% benefit from them. I live in dauphin and normally go to that location and have no problems with them ever ...figured i would stop at Halifax since i was already out that way , I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!

Nice to have this store in Halifax. If you want to grab a t-shirt or towel, or anything like that, there's no other place in Halifax to do that. Quality of products isn't great, but convenience is excellent!!

Me love a good bargain and when I shop here I'm bound to find one! Every time I shop here I leave feeling like I soaked up the savings with the great low prices and good deals. I definitely recommend shopping here

I found what i needed pretty quickly and was able to get in and out in a timely fashion. A bit bigger then the usual stores more space to get around that was nice.

Usually well-stocked staff is somewhat helpful although they don't hire enough people to help you find things and it's usually crammed full of items some items my feeling not in the proper area

Waiting for them open with several other customers and a truck load of stock for the store... this will be the 2nd time I’ve had to wait for them to open.. They are suppose to open at 8.... it’s 8:20
