Whatever I need I will just make the trip somewhere else. The manager does not seem to know how to treat customers. Giving three stars because all cashiers are all very nice and pleasant people.

Just recently moved to G………. and been trying to give the BB my business because it’s local rather than going to the box stores. However, I just went and gave them over $200 worth of business and I end up having to first, move 4x8 sheets of OSB to get the stuff that I wanted that was on sale and second, ended up having to load it on the cart myself then push it around to get three rolls of insulation. Wheel it all the way out to my car after the cashier asked me how many I had I said 10 - no offer to help no sales associate to speak of. She was the only one that I seen And she was sitting behind the register and I didn’t see her and I had to ask for help or if anybody was there . What pitiful customer service!

Purchased some mulch this morning and I would advise you to go elsewhere if you need mulch. There were really large pieces along with a few rocks in the bagsIf it would not have been for the fact that I didn't want to have to load it up again I would have returned it. If they were giving this stuff away it would still be too much. (Timberland brand). On the plus side the young man who loaded it for me was very pleasant.

I what t share my gratitude to the Greenville branch of busy beaver. Not only do they continue to offer a year round 10% discount for veterans. They have recently added a veteran designated parking spot. As a combat disabled veteran. I thank you busy beaver.

Was in earlier today and this place is just awful. There were probably 15 people in line waiting with one young girl cashier. She called two other male associates up twice to ask them a question about looking up items. It appeared she was newly hired and could have used some assistance. I honestly felt awful for her. Both male associates also left and didn’t get on register to help her. I also saw the store manager walk by as her line grew and make a B-line towards the back of the store. There is clearly a management problem. No cashier should be abandoned by her team mates and left to the dogs like that.Not to mention this places prices are crazy. Wish Walmart would of had what I wanted in stock. Had to spend an extra $5 for the same exact product.

Has quite a variety, very spacious and clean. Their selection of plants were nice but hadn't been well organized or taken care of. Some hardware we needed and thought would've been stocked was not. Cashier was somewhat on the lackluster side, I asked her a question and she didn't respond so I asked again then got a response. It was just a mkay experience for the first time shopping there.

We had the absolute best sales guy. I think his name was Jake. I had an elderly friend that needed some assistance. He never left our side. He made sure every need was met. Could not have asked for better help. He gave me a little hope for the young people today. I even went back after taking my friend home to tell the manager how good he was.

Nice to have a place local to obtain construction supplies from. I did however find their prices to be on the high side for a lot of items which has always been my experience with True Value locations. Perfect example were the cleaning supplies!! Even with Walmart down the road, it was as if they weren't even trying to be competitive!! Now, I did compare the "Tomcat" mouse bait stations, 4 pack, and Beaver was about 0.20$ more than Walmart so not to bad but still more. Now, they did have a good special on batteries and I bought some. Then looked at new toilet seats. I can't talk to the prices as I need to compare with Home Depot and Lowe's but they did have a nice selection.Overall, good for a local run but be very careful on prices as they are not the cheapest in the area.I will also offer the staff was very friendly and offered to help!!

Great local home improvement store. Decent selection of materials and tools for the limited space. Prices are pretty good, plus gas savings not having to drive to Hermitage adds to the value.

Convenient, but kinda expensive. Also I was harrased and verbally attacked by another customer in front of the employees when I attempted to retrieve a shopping cart. There were carts in the vicinity of the customers car that obviously had not touched his car that I was attempting to retrieve for stability and shopping since my feet were in extreme pain due to nueropathy from hand foot syndrome from the chemotherapy I'm taking for terminal cancer. The employees didn't call the police, and the customer didn't call the police until things got out of hand and danger was eminent. The police showed up after I forcefully retrieved a cart I grabbed first and was inside shopping. The employees informed me they didn't need video footage my 12 year old daughter recorded cause the police said it was not a crime scene and was between the store and the customer to fix the situation. I assume this was all captured on security cameras in the front of the store. I was in such pain and irritated after looking for the items I needed I didn't stick around to see what the outcome was. Today I returned to shop since I feel much better and asked if I could get some sort of discount for putting up with the situation I was forced into, but got a blatant lie and no offer. I think a one time 10% discount would be a nice offering for what I put up with on their watch, but now know it's all for yourself in their store and you gotta call protection for yourself and definitely don't expect the employees to cover you in any way. Buyer beware.

Nice clean store, stock is slim in electrical and prices are very high. Staff is nice and it is local. Not much competition around so not many options. Always have liked busy beaver hope it makes a comeback.

I have been there several times over the past few weeks. People are friendly enough and try to help but invariably they send me to Lowe's or home depot because they carry a very limited amount of anything I have wanted in stock and never seems to be the size I need.

The cashier left a lot to be desired. I am 81 and ask for something to put around my PVC pipe bundle. He gave me a tape dispenser and walked away. I carried 6- 10 ft. Long pipes to my car after wrapping them with the tape. Trace #438958.

They had everything I was looking for employees seemed friendly but if there busy seems hard to get help sometimes. Seems maybe they work there with a skeleton crew. They need to have a few more employees working per day.

Did not have pvc pipe fittings that I needed. Did not have 1 1/2" pvc pipe. What I did get was over priced. Will not ever buy much there.

The staff was very helpful and in a timely manner. The loaders were there quickly and were careful and polite .
