If I could give 0 stars I would. No one answers the phone and I get being short staffed but cmon. My son’s meds have been given to me late 4x now, I’ve been given misinformation multiple times and no one seems to care much about their customers. My son is only 1 and has epilepsy. You would think they would be more careful about these things but everyone I’ve spoke to was unprofessional and impatient. 5 days ago I was told his meds were not able to be filled for 4 more days. I call back in 4 days later and they now say his script needs to be prescribed again. So a script was sent In hours later and I was told he wld have to wait a day for it to be filled and they had 53 left to give me a PARTIAL refill. (Same as they did last time I called for this) The next day I call rite aid and I was told they no longer had his meds in stock after I spoke to them the day before and they said they had 53. I was mad so I went into the store was told they don’t have any left for sure. So I was trying other pharmacies and getting it figured out. I went back to this rite aid to get his script printed out for another pharmacy to refill it and they suddenly ended up having the meds the whole time it just took me coming back to the store 3x to get them refilled. Just down right crazy in my opinion. But I owe a big thanks to Michale. He helped so much and was nice and caring the entire time after all the craziness.

This place is the best. A bit expensive but their sales are great. My automatic refills are always texted to me when ready, the PAYNGO on your phone option make pick up a breeze. Store is always clean and super organized, shelves are always full.

These people blow up your phone but don't answer theirs. You get an unhelpful, annoying robot instead. You're better off going in-person, even if you just have a question. However, this is a pretty good pharmacy. Mike and Hannah, in the pharmacy have been working there for years. Both are nice and good at their job. The drive-thru is better if you're in a hurry. Also, when they do answer their phones, they are nice, helpful, and it makes the process more convenient.

This particular rite aid is terrible. I am on automatic refills and was told me script was ready. When I went to pick it up, they couldn’t find it after spending 30 minutes looking, just to come back and tell me it was never filled and would be ANOTHER wait. The drive thru has been closed for months, the line inside is always ridiculously long, and the pharmacy closes at abnormal hours for lunch (not the ones stated inside the store). The staff is usually always rude and appear to be annoyed with customers coming in for their medications. I will be taking my business elsewhere and encouraging my friends and family to do the same.

Pretty decent Rite Aid, they had what I came in for and they had a shelf checkout register so that made it pretty quick.

The pharmacy doesn’t answer the phone. I tried calling yesterday and today, I ended up having to call upfront and the lady tried transferring me to the pharmacy and also put me on hold to see if she can get someone to answer and both times no one answered from the pharmacy. They were also supposed to fill one of my prescriptions a month ago and a month later I still don’t have it.

My medication was ordered FIVE days ago. And I went to pick up and they claim they didn’t know it was there and they needed to order it and it would be THREE more days till delivery. They claim the manufacturer didn’t send it. I’m a nurse so actually know how the process goes. They never requested it 5 days ago because they didn’t see it in their que. they just saw it today when I came to pick up. Instead of apologizing for their mistake they were rude and told me to try a different store if it was that important when truly they should have done that for me and transferred the order to closest store. Thanks for the customer service

Like most of the people on this thread, I don’t think we’ve met a single staff member in the pharmacy that did not seem to be truly bothered by their customers. They are unpleasant, rude, and just seem miserable overall. Happy to say I’ve already switched pharmacies, my wife will be switching shortly considering we just had ANOTHER poor experience recently. Not sure who took this place over recently, but in the last few months, I haven’t spoken to a single person who had anything nice to say about this place. Maybe they’ll be a bit nicer when they’re in the unemployment line. This will be the next Rite Aid to go, thank god.

This place used to where allMy family got their prescriptions. Especially since it’s so close to home. The past few months has been horrible due to them being so short staffed. I’m never rude because I know it’s not the employees fault. They have closed the drive thru completely and anytime I have a script to pick up it takes numerous times trying to pick it up to actually receive it. Since no one answers the phone or calls back ever, you have to physically drive down wait in the line that basically starts when you first walk in the door and have to wait no less than 30 minutes to get to the front of the line. there was even a woman in front of me complaining and the employee straight up told her that they’re advising people to go to other pharmacies because they can’t handle the prescriptions that they have . It’s just sad that this place is gone so downhill and so little time.

I've used this pharmacy for 7 years and I'm sad to have to leave because it's conveniently located for me. They have been short staffed for a very long time now. It has not improved at all since the pandemic started. They've closed the drive through. The lines inside are halfway to the front doors. They often times only have 1 person available at the pharmacy desk. They never answer the phone in pharmacy. You must drive there with any questions. It takes hours sometimes days to fill a medication that you've called in. I understand it's not the employees fault but management or someone in charge of this store really needs to figure out a solution to their staffing issues.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune to use. They never have my prescriptions, which are very common, and take forever to order them. They take forever to fill a script, days on end for immediately needed things like antibiotics or steroids. The service is ridiculously slow, you can wait in line or sit at the drive through for 40 minutes with only 1 or 2 people in front of you. The often do not answer the phone when called, and are rude both on the phone and in person, as if you just walked into their home and asked for dinner instead of to a pharmacy to get paid-for prescriptions. Now, on top of all of that, they have for some unknown reason CLOSED the drive through for prescriptions, and every day I have tried to go inside to get them, the line is literally out wrapped around aisles- over 15 people. Considering it takes them 45 minutes to handle 2 customers, I cannot even imagine the length of time it would take to get through that line, or why on earth they thought it was a good, reasonable idea to close the drive through. Now the service is worse then ever, we have no access to any of our prescriptions, and they seem intent on making every refill a worse and worse experience. I will be going back to using CVS, which I never had a single issue with.

I almost never write reviews, but I had to share my experience and vent my frustration with this pharmacy. We have lived in the City of Greensburg for about 4 years now, and until recently, I have (luckily) not needed to have prescriptions filled regularly. I had my first baby this past August and with a baby comes lots of doctors visits and prescriptions. I have one prescription that I need filled each month, and so far, it hasn't been a great experience picking it up. I've learned to get it during the day because it always seems that the drive-thru is closed after working hours.Unfortunately, I got an infection from breastfeeding and required an antibiotic to be filled yesterday after my doctor's appointment at 10:30am. I stopped at the pharmacy via drive-thru to check if it was ready around 12pm. Not ready, no problem, as I needed to pick another prescription for my baby (we tried picking it up previously but it wasn't in stock and needed to be delivered). The lady working the window said it would be ready after 3pm. I go back to work and I get a call from my doctor's office around 2:15pm saying that the pharmacy didn't have the antibiotic I needed in stock so they sent over another script for an alternative. Okay, no problem, just wish they would have told me that earlier when I stopped. I was kind of irritated because this is my second experience needing something that they didn't have in stock. I get done with work at 4pm and need to get my baby from daycare by 4:30pm. On the way from work to his daycare, I stop to pick up my prescription and once again, I find the drive-thru closed. I go in, wait in the long-ish line for about 15 minutes only to be told that it wasn't ready yet and it would be ready in 30 minutes (4:50pm). I'm getting very frustrated at this point, because now I have to come back with my baby and wait in the line again, even though I was told earlier that it would be ready after 3pm. I go pick him up and stop again to get it. Now, I have my baby with me waiting in the even bigger line, which took another 20 minutes of waiting. If the antibiotics weren't need right away (I was in pain and didn't want to risk it getting worse), I definitely would have come back a different day.I am just so frustrated that this type of experience has become so common when needing anything from this pharmacy. As I waited in the line both times, I saw multiple customers having to wait in line only to get to the cashier and be told their prescriptions weren't ready. There seemed to be a lot of angry/frustrated customers like me.

This pharmacy has officially lost all control. They’ve turned off their phones so there’s no way to contact them. Auto renew prescriptions I’ve had for 8+ years no longer renew automatically because, according to the pharmacist, they’re “a week behind”. So the only way to get your prescription is to go in (drive thru has been closed for months) and wait in line. No matter what time of day or night you go, you will wait a minimum of a half hour. Trust me, I’ve tried every possible time and the line always stretches through the store.Once you do get to the front, they don’t have it filled (because why would they), even if it’s been a week already, so you have to sit and wait for them to fill it. They might do you a favor and let you pay without waiting in the half hour line again. A trip to Riteaid now takes about an hour, if you’re lucky.I cannot for the life of me understand why they aren’t transferring people to a different pharmacy. We’re talking about peoples’ medications that Riteaid is being flippant with. If you can’t handle this many customers, STOP ACCEPTING PEOPLE. Stop the greed and take some steps to show you actually care because this is beyond out of control.Edited to add: you keep saying to call your corporate number but I’ve tried many many times and cannot get through. You’re loosing customers on the daily. Shouldn’t you care about peoples wellbeing? How is any customer supposed to contact you? How can you improve with no possible report system in place?

Ive used Riteaid since the change over from Ecker drugs which was quite some time ago..Not once not twice but more then a hand full of times my doctors have sent a Rx for life sustaining medicine only to find days go by and it's not being filled. They NEVER answer the phone or return message left in regards to my Rx. Again a hand full of times it takes me to physically going there waiting in line for 30 to 40 minutes to find out they have yet filled my Rx that was sent in days ago. I understand being understaffed but this did not seem to be the case as I walked in only to find 7 people working behind the counter which infuriated me. I brought up my concerns to the manager but it hasn't changed a thing. This isn't fair to myself or even elderly people who may not have proper transportation to come to the location to REMIND staff they have a Rx that needs filled only to be told it will take 45 minutes to come back then. When I went to MedExpress and I told them to send my Rx to Riteaid I herd similar story's This is totally unacceptable for people that need life sustaining medicine

The only nice person at the pharmacy was the young checkout girl. Took my 102 year old mother in for a shot, did not register before hand online, which is the Only way you can make an appointment. When I asked if they could set her up for her next appointment while we were there we were told No, online only or we would need to go somewhere else for the shot. We were told it would be 45 minutes and although only one other person was there for shots they kept my mother waiting the entire 45 minutes. I hope they are proud of the way they treat their customers.

Ever since they’ve taken on the clients from the Shop N Save pharmacy, it’s been a nightmare. Today in particular my 8 month old is sick and was prescribed an antibiotic. We were at the doctors at 10:30 am when they sent the prescription over. I waited until 5 pm to pick it up since we had some other obligations today and figured that I gave them tons of time to get around to it. By the time I was seen in the drive thru it was 5:45 pm (there were 3 cars in front of me) only to be told it would be another 2 hour wait! I lost it! I had already given them 7 hours to fill it only to be told it would be another 2….. they did apologize and had a bunch of excuses but I had to wait another 10 minutes then go inside with my sick baby to get the prescription since the drive thru line was on to the road at that point. They really need to get it together. This is literally like the 3rd or 4th time that they haven’t had prescriptions ready after hours and hours of them being sent over. I’m a mother of 4 and it’s not easy to just sit around with young children and wait another 20-30 minutes or have to drive back in 2 hours. We’ll be switching our family to CVS up the road from now on after being loyal to Rite Aid since I was literally a child myself. Do better Rite Aid.

Pharmacy staff is not helpful and very rude to my older mother, will be using another pharmacy for sure. They said it was policy of why they denied her coupon but could not validate that the policy existed, and when I was looking up the policy (she said I could find on my phone so i did in front of her) she got upset and said it was her call and she was refusing it. She said GoodRX just takes your money and the store did not have to take them however walmart list that they do not except it however riteaide websites does not

Update. They are worse than ever. Waiting 3 weeks for my prescription. There has not been one month in the last year since Hometown pharmacy closed and we were automatically switched, that we haven’t had a problem with this Rite Aid. They either don’t have our medication in stock, our prescriptions aren’t ready or they lose them. When you call you are prompted to use the automated system then they tell you that doesn’t always work. But don’t try to call them! It’s at least a 3-5 call process to get the pharmacy to answer the phone. We are switching but it’s such a pain to notify all the doctors that prescribe our medication. If you have a choice, don’t go here.

Called in to see if they had any Adderall in stock since my pharmacy can’t get it in I was told to call around. They told me they couldn’t check it for me and that was their policy which is weird since I’ve called 4 other riteaids and they told me their stock woman was extremely rude in the phone and transferred me to the pharmacist who left me on hold for 10 minutes

This pharmacy & staff are hands down the best! I’ve been using them for over 10 years. The pharmacist is quick & friendly. (Wish I knew his name.) Then there’s pharmacy technicians/assistants who bend over backwards for you like Mike & Sue. I would never go anywhere else. If anyone has had a bad experience they were either extremely busy or they had a bad experience with a new staff member, which happens anywhere & everywhere. I use to live 2 mins awarded , but now it literally takes me 35 min. and pass practically 10 different pharmacies..but I would never go anywhere else! Completely worth it!!

Do not use this store as your pharmacy. They are the slowest, has the worst customer service, has extremely unknowledgeable desk employees. They take a minimum of eight hours to get a prescription right in their prices are unreal. Do not go here.

Worst drive thru pharmacy I've ever experienced. No matter if there is a line or not you can't get thru there in less 10 minutes. Just sat for 25 minutes for 1 car ahead of me. Absolutely ridiculous! I hate this place. Only reason I go there is for convenience.

Jessica Walbridge

Pharmacy isn’t filling prescriptions, answering calls, returning calls, or communicating any issues. Do not use this pharmacy if you expect a script filled within two weeks.

Drive thru hasn't been open in 2 plus months. Always a 30 minute wait inside to drop off or pickup medicine. And then there is no guarantee it will be ready even though pharmacy said it would be.

They never answer their phone and when you go in take forever to fill a prescription. This is the 16 time I've tried to fill a prescription because its the closest place to me... a line of 3 people takes 40 minutes. They are horrible. Completely incompetent.

Ben Wechsler

2020-05

Horrible experience. Pharmacist would not fill my script from a specialist and cited some nonsense about what the medication was prescribed for. When that tactic didn’t work, she switched to citing some bs corporate policy about dosage. I’ve filled my script at other rite aids with no issue in years past. Pharmacist was not helpful, rude and ignorant. Look at all of the negative reviews here... Wonder why people subject themselves to the abusive practices of this horrible pharmacy. I for one will never be a customer ever again.

Ferret O'Guinness

Pharmacy is a den of gross incompetence. 40+ minute waits to be served at the drive thru. Prescriptions are never ready. Constant delays and the pharmacists stare at you like deer trapped in headlights when you ask any questions. Beware the senior citizens driving in this lot. There's always accidents.

waited fifteen minutes for my prescription and when i was called over, i was told "this prescription doesn't meet our requirements " which I thought was weird because three other people had the same prescription with no problem . I then ask the pharmacist what that meant and he stated "this does not meet our requirements "I asked again and he said rudely we cannot filll this. he never told me what requirements needed to be met I just left and that was that I will not be back due to a rude pharmacist and very uneducated people he could have easily called the doctor or let me know what else was needed I went to this pharmacy because it was the only one open at 8:00 PM . I could have went to Walmart as well but right aid was closer and waiting that 1520 minutes everything else was closed

I was in line when I witnessed the pharmacist (pharmacy manager), rudely tell another customer that ,”you have welfare insurance, your on welfare ,so you shouldn’t be able to afford this medicine”. After the customer asked if he can pay for his medicine instead of waiting for a preauthorization . The customer looked so embarrassed and I felt embarrassed for him. The man was polite and kept his cool even after he was belittled, slandered, and put on display that he was on welfare. This pharmacist needs to be fired. You can not do what he did to an innocent customer..
