I left a 1 star review for this place 6 years ago. Today I am changing my review to 5 stars, not because I think that the store is awesome but because of one employee there. I am talking about Zoe in the fish section. Zoe is so knowledgeable, friendly, professional and very sweet.I came two weeks ago to get information about possibly getting an aquarium, that same day I ended up leaving the store with all of the supplies I needed to get started setting up my tank and cycling it. It was her advice and all the information she provided that made me buy everything.Today I returned to the store with my son and she helped us select our plants, fish, accessories and again provided so much information and help. She is a 5 star employee!

Very laid back store. Prices are average, some a bit high. I have had difficulty finding a worker to wait on me however each time I've been here. This is not my go to pet place but if I had to I'd stop in again.

I love this Petco unit, everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They answer all our questions, help find the right items for Luna and are always stocking the shelves. The prices are reasonable and the selection is wide.

Went to go buy some Neon Tetras must of been the day they got fish in. Waited for someone to even ask if they could help me. Manager and staff was too busy and made me feel like I was in their way while looking at fish to buy. Then when I found a Bamboo Shrimp, manager told me it was $14.99 and if that was ok like I couldn’t afford $14.99. LOL! Tip to this manager don’t ask your customers if they can afford something. These people don’t know anything about Pet Care at all. Tanks were very dirty and store was gross. Also the cashier and staff seemed disinterested in helping customers.

Had my Pitbull groomed (wash and nail trim) here. Brendon did an excellent job! All the staff are so loving toward the animals. Very professional and friendly

The only Petco I will go to. Stopped in yesterday and ended up leaving with a beautiful new blue eyed leucistic ball python for my collection. The gentleman that helped me was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and just down right enjoyable to talk to. I've had the pleasure of purchasing several animals through this Petco, and each one has been happy and healthy

They have everything just about you need for your pets . And they also have clearance sales, with discount rates. So that alway a plus as well. And the sales associates are very friendly and helpful.

Adoption day on Saturday mornings. Very nice people work with the adoption. The clinic that comes in and goes shots is EXPENSIVE! not a service to the community. For some reason, everytime I buy something from Petco, I am in line waiting forever for a cashier and I overpay for a ton of stuff. It's high priced

I went for crickets and I had to find an employee which was a slight challenge. The employee that did help made it appear I was a bother and was not very friendly. While walking around and shopping no one bothered to ask if I was looking for anything specific. Then I went to check out to see $0.10 per bag.....ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!!!! For people who don't know you charge for bags, we are blind side at the register. That is insane and beyond stupid. Not that me, one little person, will make any difference by not shopping at petco ever again, you best believe I won't. I will also spread the word about the bags in hopes it stops others. I know it probably won't and you are a huge company, but trust me I will try and I won't ever go to petco again!!!!!!

Update:the man who helped me is the manager!I went here today after work to buy my daughter a new beta fish. Instead, i left with a parakeet lol!!! But i really wanted to take a min and tell you guys about how awesome the guy was that helped me!I went to the counter and told the cashier i needed assistance with the birds. This guy came out super fast to help me. He was very knowledgeable with them too! I havent had a bird in ages so im happy that he was there to help! He showed me what supplies i would need and he even gave me some background information of the bird i had selected which was wonderful! Its nice to know the employees actually care about the animals there! Very good experience today. Im happy there was more than one person willing to help me and that there was actually someone who knew what they were doing and not just trying to make a sale! The only downfall to my visit was that they hardly had any reptiles on display. Mostly just frogs.

We got some mice for my daughter's birthday, and the employees were so awesome and helpful. You could tell they really care about the animals and the customers. The store was clean and organized and they had everything we needed for our new fuzzy friends.

4 pinkies thrown into a snakes enclosure. if i remember correctly it was two corn snakes. turning rotten as i’m sure they’d been in there for at least a couple hours. honestly just sad and gross. plus way too many grouped animals. stop ordering animals weekly if you don’t have room for them. at least 6 bearded dragons together, 3 crested geckos together, all the snakes were doubled up, chameleons together. sad and disgusting, i’ve worked at a pet store before and we are trained and learn so we can do better than this. the workers need to educate themselves

Store needs attention. Appeared dingy and disorganized. Small selection of aquarium products. Fish tanks didn't appear to be in the best condition. On a positive note, the birds, cats, and gerbils were adorable.

I have 3 different experiences at the Greensburg location. Got my dog his shots and had a great experience and nice checkout. Very welcoming and friendly. Second visit, my daughter in law was interested in beta fish and snails. The two girls who helped her were wonderful, knowledgeable and eager to answer all her beginner beta aquarium questions!! Just the right people who you would like to wait on you in a pet store! My third visit…. I left the store in disbelief. We needed to get more fish for the tank and the girl who was working, acted like we were a bother and not interested in bagging up our future tank buddies. There was expired “live” food hanging up. Gross that as the new ones were hung in between the dead food. As I was walking around with my kids, I noticed a parrot…. This poor blue parrot had plucked more than half of his feathers out of his body!! He looked like he had high anxiety and was in distress!! It was so sad to hear my 5 year old ask why he didn’t have feathers in the middle of his tail!! So we walked more. I noticed that under all of the shelves in the store were not cleaned under in a long time!! The floor was caked with dust and dirt! We used the restroom and there was a spider and water damage. And the floor looked like it had not been mopped in a while! As I walked around more, I noticed that the entire store was filthy. I would hate to buy an expensive bag of pet food and there be bugs in it. There were full grown crickets/hoppers that had escaped and were hopping around! I left after that. Walmart is cleaner.I will still continue to purchase certain item there, but be careful what you purchase. I hope they can hire some employees who care a little more.

The staff were kind and helpful. But the store manager refused to help customers even when there was only one staff available for the register and on the floor. The manager just looked at us when I asked for help. He looked over then proceeded to walk away to hide in the office. The cashier did their best to ring people up and help me get a pet until a worker was off break. And those two were really great.

The gentlemen in the grooming area made CoCo and I feel very welcome and comfortable. They provided excellent customer service and were both very helpful and knowledgeable. The service was great!!! CoCo will definitely be back for all of her grooming needs. Thank you for such a wonderful first experience at the groomer!

Zoey and Lexi were absolutely amazing! I ran into a mobile order issue and broken tank (neither were their fault) yet the managed to give me the best Petco trip today! Not only did they apologize multiple times but make everything right! Zoey even helped my betta get a “clean up crew” they have to be the best employees at this store!

Went for vetco vaccine clinic. The first time I scheduled 3 dogs, had a good experience- fast and organized. The second time I scheduled a dog and a cat for the last two appointments of the day. Around midday I noticed I hadn't got any confirmation texts, so I called the store to confirm. They said there was no way for me to get in touch with the vaccine clinic, no phone you could call or anything, but that they would usually accommodate walk ins when possible, and they would at least relay the message for me in case there was some mix up- I made sure to tell them I was the last 2 of the day. We arrived early, there was a dog in front of us who was done with vaccines, waiting for paperwork. Staff was chatting with them (we were clearly in line for the clinic) and did not acknowledge us till 5 minutes to closing ( we stood there about 15 mins). Long story short, despite the fact that we called to check and were told to come, they refused to see us. We drove straight to a vaccine clinic with tractor supply and had a wonderful experience there.

Groomer was pleasant, kind, and gentle with my pet. She obviously enjoys her job. I was offered scheduling for my next appointment and suggestions to meet my pet's needs.

Our groomer Kara at Greensburg, PA store was amazing. She did a great job. I just wish your prices were a bit lower. Kara doesnt control prices, but nonetheless, she did a fabulous job

Got a new gecko today at the reptile show and went to get a kit for him/ her. Zoe at the. Store was amazing was able to help us get everything we needed. Very knowledgeable and helpfulThanks Zoe for helping today
