Was in the store early in the morning, last week (2/1/24) and was waiting for the pharmacy to open. Overheard a staff member complaining about (& laughing about) a customer who had problems with the self checkout. This staff member is never pleasant when she has to come to the register.This conversation went on loudly for 10 minutes. The gist was that a customer did not have their phone # linked with their card, and this staff complained about this being a hassle to her to explain it to customer. There is self checkout at this store, & I see older people having a lot of problems with this. Apparently this is an inconvenience & something to make mockery of for the staff here. It really is quite the opposite of "customer service." You may think that because many are dictated by insurance companies to use your store/pharmacy that you can treat customers any way you wish, but just look at the ratings here. Some customers will get wise & either go to another CVS or get all RX transferred permanently or through mail order only. I am investigating this option myself. CVS Corporate really needs to look at this location and customer satisfaction.

Super friendly service (sarcasm.)Was buying OTC medication but was right by the pharmacy. When asked if I could check out, I was told brusquely, “There’s a self checkout out front!”Thanks for the great customer service 🙄Won’t be returning

Due to my insurance, I have to fill my prescriptions through CVS. Typically the staff have been friendly and helpful. The pharmacy technician I spoke to this afternoon (1/6/23) was rude, laughed at me for asking a question, and was defensive when I asked her about setting up an account. If it is such an inconvenience to answer basic questions and treat people with respect, maybe she should get a job elsewhere. Very poor customer service. Every other pharmacy in the local area is superior to the interactions I had today.

CVS Greensburg is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to they messed up my wife's medication not once twice very rude and discouraged wouldn't go back there if I have to I hate Walmart but I'd go back there first

I had a coupon sent to my phone, which I added to my card. Previously I had the CarePass but dropped it because I didn't always go into the store for my prescriptions and if you don't spend $10, you lose the money. I called the 800 line to merge my cards over a year ago so I could use my coupons without confusion. This day, my coupon would not work. It was for $4 off a purchase. One of the self checkouts was down and the manager was helping the man at the other self check out machine. When it was my turn, my coupon was not working, so the manager came back to the machine and tried to use it. We also tried my phone number, which the machine said was not valid. This has been my number for over 20 years. By this time, several people were waiting to check out. So the manager said that I must have two cards and the coupon is not going to work. So I told him to keep the purchase and then he said he would honor the coupon. He was pretty snippy with me but he did override the machine to accept the coupon, after I had to show the text on my phone to him. After I got home, I called corporate to tell them what happened and they said that my cards were merged a long time ago but that there was a glitch on thier end that was causing the problem. So I wrote a review and I got a nasty letter from the store manager, which I saved, telling me that he didn't have to give me the coupon. I wrote back and told him that I would not longer shop at CVS and will be moving all of my prescriptions to another company.

I enjoy the store. I always find deals and neat things when i walk the store. But the pharmacy needs help. It takes a week to get anything filled. It doesn't matter if I drop it off, have it sent over, or refill online.

Came here to fill a script for my 4 year old son with a urinary tract infection. When he asked to use their bathroom they told him it was out of order. I could clearly see a restroom because they left their door open. I'm dumbfounded how they turned away a small child with a UTI. As a result, he urinated in their parking lot which must be more acceptable to them. Good decisionCVS...

Went to this CVS and started to find loads of items that said their "best Buy" date was last year. Went to get their out-of-date coupon policy honored and they said that a best buy date is not an expiration date. Seriously? Be careful if you buy from here as the product is probably old, stale, or even toxic

The front register employee was very rude...she complained because I wouldn't use the self checkout which is always a problem. After that she complained to the next person in line. I will soon transfer my business to Rite Aid.

the customer service at checkout was fantastic. I used CVS coupons and it all worked. I was prompted by the cashier to use them. Products are marked well at OTC also, which I used.

At this CVS, I did not use the pharmacy, and I purchased only beverages and snacks. The prices were reasonable for the products that I purchased, although prices can be high for other products such as beauty and household. I had no wait in line at the checkout, and the cashier was nice.

Very frustrated right now. Eye drops ordered for conjunctivitis two days ago, not available.Only solution was to be given phone numbers to check other CVS pharmacies. PCP ordered another med today and at 5:30 the pharmacy is closed. At this point I am stuck with irritated,yucky eyes for another day.

Arrived at 1:30pm to pickup my wife’s prescription after her surgery and it was closed from one to two for lunch!! The signs say temporary pharmacy hours, 9am - 8pm………last time I checked, 1:30pm was between those hours.Giant Eagle pharmacy, here I come.

The pure level of disrespect I just experience was absolutely appalling. The head Pharmacist at this location just screamed at me because she had to use her license to fill a lost prescription I needed filled. The technicians were in shock at how she was treating me. I’ve never been treated like this ever in my life and I will never use this pharmacy again. Bigger lady with blonde hair. I’d just stay away. She should be reprimanded. Just wow! Don’t use this place.

Was forced to go here by the insurance. Switched from Rite Aid. I'm going to assume that was forced on us because these places are complete (blank) holes. My family had very similar experiences to the other negative reviews.Reward program amounts to a fraction of the savings we saw at Rite Aid. We will continue to use them for everything but Pharmacy.

They didn’t have anyone at the cash registers, just a sign saying to use self checkout. Needed to pick up pictures so this was an obvious issue. Should hire more people

I went in to pick up pictures and a nice, kind, costumer asked me for assistance. I tried to help her but I was confused. There was only one clerk, and she had so many customers she couldn't help us. We were there for about a half hour waiting for help. Finally the clerk came over and our computer wasn't "working" so she just flipped the sign. After we got the ladies pictures to the printer it took 10 minutes to print 5 pictures and the 5th picture didn't even come out. I had to dig my hand in the machine to get the customers picture. Over all, this place needs more help/ workers and to check machines more than once in a life time. I'm not doing this again. 45 minutes to print 5 pictures that ridiculous.

I was told they have delivery service. I've only been out of the hospital for covid a little over a week and am still on oxygen so I called and asked to have my RX for my shingles delivered and was told the deliver pick up was around noon. Called at 4:15 because I had not received it yet and was told they use the USPS for delivery. So I will be out of my pills for a couple days and be in pain because they were deceptive in information. I'll be looking for a new pharmacy.

Very rude unprofessional and I was over changed and they did not have what I was looking for. I brought 3 pairs of socks on sale 3 for $10. I was charged 3.99 each. .69 pack of M&M's I was charged 1.25. Main reason I want in was for the long cotton swabs not Q_tips. The gentleman told me no longer carry them. The two cashier's were just rude.

This drugstore chain provided vaccines in Feb. and March when they were hard to find. We were on waiting lists for Mainline, AHN, UPMC, but heard nothing. We found openings in New Ken where we were told folks came in from Philly to get vaccines! At the Greensburg store, I'm greeted and assisted as needed. Staff is very friendly, pharmacy seems to know how to streamline things and is concerned for health of customers. I was reluctant to go to CVS and continued at another chain even tho insurance wanted us to use CVS, but I've not been disappointed.

This place is disgusting and the employees are the rudest. A cashier, jennifer threw her half smoke cigarette and keys on the counter and walked away from a customer in line coughing up a lung. I had originally gone in for children's cold medicine but after hearing the unprofessional tone and language from two pharmacy techs, Sara and I think jenn, I just put my stuff back on the shelf, almost running into that coughing cashier as she stumbled around a corner, probably drunk. Oh, and they were cussing about customers and how they lost another narcotics prescription.

My father in law was life flighted from Greensburg to Pitt Mercy and I received this news over 3 plus hours away where we live in the DC Suburbs. Therefore, I rushed to PA and left without needed medication. Erica and Von could not have been kinder and help provide a solution and make me feel cared for in a really stressful and difficult time. Thank you for taking care of me, so I can take care of my family.

The other reviews touch on it but true, pharmacy people here are nothing but rude. And they have no right to be because its not like they can get through a drive thru line in any sort of a timely manner.

Buyer beware! Pharmacy Tech told me Plavix not covered by insurance. I knew that and was ready to pay cash. Then she told me that Plavix is cheaper if I buy it "over the counter". A blood thinner sold "over the counter?", I asked skeptically. She said "Yes, it's Nexium". Isn't Nexium for stomach problems? If I had taken Nexium home instead of Plavix, my husband would have had a stroke or heart attack by the end of the week. Isn't it time for Pennsylvania to require more education for Pharmacy Tech than reading a binder and taking a test before being let loose on the unsuspecting public???

Reason this place has such bad reviews is because the manager let's all this go. Simply because she herself us so rude. Don't bother asking her if they have any bottles of propane available. She'll go off on you if she has to do anything to help you.

They are trying hard to keep this place open they need more hands on deck, like almost everywhere now.this store is clean and well stocked but way understaffed this country needs a miracle, or two at this point. I feel badly for these stores
