I stopped by Sunnyway in Greencastle to do some shopping because I won a gift card at a fundraiser fir a local girl who has leukemia. I am not sure if I’ve ever been in the store. If I was it was when I was a little kid and I am so much older now! But I found a store to be refreshing as compared to the gigantic stores I usually shop at. It is obvious when you walk in the doors that they care about their establishment and their products. Definitely not as much selection or brands that you might be used to in those gigantic shopping stores, but definitely anything you might need is there. Everything is very neat and organized, and there is a very calm atmosphere amongst the shoppers and the staff there. The cashiers and the lady in the deli were very nice. This is actually the third time I’ve shopped here with my gift card that I won. Their prices are a bit higher than other stores but honestly the shopping experience is worth a little extra sometimes! They have premade foods and containers that you just need to heat up, as well as premade salads and a very nice bakery with all kinds of cupcakes and cakes and donuts… And a variety of sizes- for a family or individual servings. Also I like that they have a Redbox DVD kiosk outside of the store. I have use that several times because I don’t have cable or anything. I definitely recommend this place. Also, I love their selection of fresh fruits and veggies.

Sunnyway is a favorite stop for Cappucchino Crunch by Hershey. It takes a few stops to find it in stock. This flavor has been our entire family's favorite for many years. We love this store for rare bulk items in bags like flavored mini marshmallows in chocolate and multi-colored shapes. I even picked up some plants this year at $3 a 4-pack on clearance. Stop by often because you never know what deals you will find. Sunnyway also has a nice produce section. The deli section is a favorite of a good friend of mine. She lives on delicious deli items carried weekly. This store is a well-rounded place to shop for groceries. The staff have always been pleasant, and the other customers have proven good-natured and considerate.

I am not sure what happened to this store but it has definitely gone downhill. The hot foods department in particular. They used to have the best fried chicken. Nice and tender. But the last two times I've been there, the chicken was tough and barely edible.The macaroni and cheese was the best I ever had. Not the last few times. It was rather " soupy" and not brown on top. Kind of like they took it out of the oven too early.And the breads seemed hard; whereas I used to love their breads.

Full of oil and a little stale. Macaroni and cheese were salt and not prepared with love. I was overcome with guilt after I allow my family to eat this food.

Not good this time. I used to get all my cakes there, but went somewhere else last couple years due to the serviceof the bakery person. I went back this time and they put on the wrong image. Tried to say it was what I ordered until I showed them it wasn't. Same bakery person I dealt with before. My daughter took it anyway, but it wasn't the one she wanted. Will not be getting cakes from there anymore. I got a whole 5 bucks off for their mistake.

Sunnyway Foods Inc. Grocery is an all time favorite for everything a family could ever need for the home from food to hygiene. As a hometown professional integrated business solution provider the mere fact that the owner provides the community board for nonprofit organizations to post announcements and events. Our mission is community driven when we adopt a nonprofit for each of our events to raise funds or collect needed donations for each hosted event. Spent over an this past week cleaning up the board after doing my shopping. Thank you Sunnyway! Kudos!

Shop there alot for buys but don't think its good for business for them to put out spoiled out of date foods such as ground turkey other foods was at store other day noticed they had alot of turkey in cooler for only 99 cents. When it was way out of date but try sale anyway they covered up the sticker which is or should be against the law but that's Mennonite people for ya try get every penny they can get in past they price gouged also on their hamburger yes be careful of date's on foods at sunnyway along with Glen woods foods.hate it when I see people texting being on their phone also when I go there employer apparently don't care allow it

Good place to shop . Hit or miss on sales of certain things but sometimes you save a few bucks and sometimes ya spend a little more. Good home made goodies and hot foods in the deli make it a nice trip for me .

The place is so overpriced! Has been this way even before Food Lion opened up below the hill many years ago. Pay attention, you never see anyone pushing a cart full out of the store. Deli, it's okay. Suppose you have poor taste buds for alright food. The chicken looks dead! Lunch meat is left unwrapped behind the case. Not my go-to unless I'm just grabbing milk.

Entering this grocery store is like taking a walk back in my childhood. Sunnyway foods has always been a staple grocery store for the green castle area. The selection is vast, the store is clean, the prices are fair, typically have very good sales, the meat is fresh, good variety in the deli, and the bakery is incredible! I typically go a few times a year to pick up their amazing donuts. The peanut butter filled are incredibly good. Make sure you get there early if you want donuts, they typically sell out early. This is a nice older fashioned grocery store that will feel more like home

Older store but everything is clean and organized. Regular sales. Best place to get lunch meats, deli salads, fried chicken. Delicious and priced well with a big selection of homemade choices. Bakery is also large and capable of catering and daily donuts, cakes, pastry selections. Lot of country style meats that you might not find at bigger chair grocers.

This little store is like stepping back in history , this is the kind of store I remember when I was a child and go shopping on Saturdays with my dad they have a wonderful selection of just about any and everything you can imagine very very colorful Foods and fresh, they have a deli where they prepare food and you can get any type of lunch meat or cheese you would desire . They have seafood and fresh meats. it's a wonderful little store people are very friendly and stories very well-stocked and I appreciate the fact that they're there for me to shop! would highly recommend this little store they also have another location in Chambersburg

I've been going here for 40+ 'adult' years, and this place has always been one of THE nicest grocery stores around, with quality food, wonderful meats, produce, and baked goods. And some of the loveliest staff ....❤️. (Obviously, I can't say enough good things!!) Love this place!

As visitors from out of town, we enjoyed our visit here.The store seems to be clean, and prices are reasonable.We bought some good sharp cheese that we are now enjoying. We wish we had the money to buy some of the farmer's market items. But, maybe next time!

Amazing staff!! The staff make you feel like family as soon as you walk in. Love the gas rewards. I've actually walked up and down Isle looking for something that I was looking for just to have the staff jump in or help me more than once. I have no complaints shopping here other than it might be a little pricey.

I went to Sunnyway to get lunch and stopped at the hot bar for chicken, fries, and crispy rolls. Im going to say the food is normally good here but this old lady put my piping hot chicken in a plastic bag... not in a container like she did the crispy rolls. I asked for a box and she said no; what a joke. Poor customer service!

First time stopping in, employees were friendly and even witnessed the dairy clerk wipe down every carton of milk he stocked. Good selection of food. Chicken in the deli was good. Will stop by again when in the area.

Mid- Afternoon Wednesday It's extremely annoying when a customer in front of you has a full cart of groceries and there is only one lane open while other employees sat around at other stations. 10 minutes of having to wait with no additional lanes opening up, I also had to go through a shift change and wait even longer while a new cashier prepped the drawer ,the blockhead couldn't even apologize for the inconvenience of having to wait for him, that's poor training Sunnyway!.Management better start doing a better job of scheduling or I will be shopping at Martins more often.
