if i could give 0 stars i would. they refused to help me and instead wanted to help the other people in line. literally made me leave the drive through and pull to the end of the line so other customers could be helped before me, even though i pulled up first. if somebody could give me an answer and my medicines, i wouldnt have been in the drive thru so long. CVS Pharmacy is NOTHING but a headache. i wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. they definitely need a better staff of people that actually know what they’re doing. they’re inconsiderate, rude, and just straight up not helpful. i got a text stating i had medicines to pick up, and when i got here to pick them up they told me they returned everything to stock bc i was too late- i just got the text today saying my meds were ready. they won’t let me refill prescriptions that have unlimited refills- or even let me pay for the medicine i need that’s ready.

Terrible service. Every time I go there is a huge line. I know to plan on 30 minutes. This last time I had been getting messages for days that my prescription is ready. When I get there they say they have nothing. I showed them my phone with 7 texts telling me my medication is ready for pick up. They got extremely rude and snapped at me that they can't do anything about the texts and they had nothing ready. I ended up having to wait for 20 minutes for them to fill it which seemed to really irritate one of them. However, the person who checked me out at the end was apologetic and nice.

Edit: rating increased to 3 stars- seems better staffed now and the employees are great. Still frequently has drive thru closed however.Multiple visits with drive thru closed and a 45 min + line. This is not a problem with workers (they are doing the best they can) but corporate mismanagement not budgeting enough hours to run a properly functioning pharmacy.

My son was seen at urgent care When attempting to fill 2 prescriptions one being an inhaler (albuterol ), and the other prednisone they stated he needed a prior authorization. I called the insurance company because he is having trouble breathing . Dan the pharmacist refused to fill it because he stated to us we need a new prescription for the generic. He didn’t realize I was on the line with insurance and they stated he stated we could come back tomorrow while they processed the claim . I apologized for the rude behavior to the insurance company. The female who answered the phone with the insurance company slammed down the phone and stated I’m done taking to her . I would be on all night . I am a nurse and could not imagine treating my patients this way . Our family is done using this pharmacy.

I waited for 10 minutes while the staff talked and looked a dog pictures. Three times the pharmacist said the would be right with me. I do not feel like they value their customers.

Only one staff member at the pharmacy has ever been nice to me. Today I walked in and asked for a syringe for a prescription I have and 2 staff members looked at me and scowled and said I would have to ask the pharmacist. I waited 5-10 minutes for the pharmacist (which didn’t matter I understand they’re busy) and he looked at me and my boyfriend up and down and asked what I needed the syringe for. I told him my prescription and mentioned I’ve gotten needles and supplies there before for it. He then got the syringe and didn’t even look at me and threw it on the table and didn’t say a word and walked away. I’ve seen many staff members come and go and no one seems to know customer service.

Drove in twice to get prescriptions. Once closed for lunch Drove back prescriptions on hold then said oh will be a few hours.These are meds I needed. I said it will be days before I can get back okay no problem whatever was said.Always a friggin issue with this pharmacy.I don't understand lunch stuff then attitudeSick of itOnce I drive up again going elsewhere

I would give this CVS Pharmacy a no star. Went to pick up a prescription and they told me the insurance denied it. Of course they never notified me and only a few pills left and this is one that needs to be taken twice a day. They were very rude and acted like they did not do anything wrong they said it was between the doctor and the insurance company which could not have been more untrue. She also told me if I didn't like their service to go to another pharmacy. Very rude people that pharmacy should be shut down if that's the way they treat people especially when we are the one's they really pay their wages so they have a job. I will not be going back there again and their corporate office is going to be notified as well.

Yesterday I was in the drive through line at 5:53. When it was my turn to pull up it was 5:59 and the person shut the screen in my face. Today at 5:00 the drive through was closed. When I went in, I was told they are a week behind and the prescription sent in 2 days ago couldn’t be filled because they had no pharmacist to fill it. This place is worse now than it was before. It’s actually appalling since people need their prescriptions for their health and wellbeing.

I can't believe how far this store has fallen over the years. The pharmacy is horrible, long lines, drive through is never open, and they take forever to fill a medication. The store could use some cleaning up. I feel it's mainly because the employees are falling behind with the amount of work they have to do and need help. The one saving grace of this place is employees that work there, they are always so nice and helpful when we need it. But something definitely needs done about the pharmacy.

THEY refuse to answer the phone in the pharmacy department. I drove 25 minutes to this store (the nearest one to my home) yesterday, all the while I was on hold on my phone!! I walked in and was able to walk right up to the counter since there was NO ONE standing in line at the pharmacy counter. So, WHY can't these people answer the phone to assist a customer??? Unfortunately, this is not just at this location but seems to be common throughout the company. It is almost like CVS trains their employees to not care about the customers, at all.I am currently on HOLD, going on 58 minutes, waiting for an update on my son's medication that he has been on for the last 6 years. Why are we forced to be without his much needed prescription? Why are we forced to "deal" with rude, uncaring, unprofessional CVS employees? And yes, we are being "forced to deal" with how CVS treats its customers because they are given preference by supply companies (so the smaller, local pharmacies struggle to keep prescriptions in stock) and because of the underhanded agreements and partnerships with insurance companies and large corporations to keep business booming.I feel TRAPPED since we are "locked" into filing it here because the prescription cannot be transferred and it takes a few days to get a doctor to call in or transmit another script to another pharmacy, and the cycle starts over again.I feel sorry for the elderly and disabled who cannot "just drive to the store for answers and assistance" with their prescriptions and rely heavily on the phone to communicate to the Pharmacist. Cutting off communication to their customers could be LIFE THREATENING when it comes to our HEALTH.I was told, rudely, that they are 5 days behind filling prescriptions..THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! Some medications can be life threatening if stopped abruptly and some medications (like my son's) are considered "controlled substance" and we already have restrictions in place being unable to refill a prescription more than 2 days before we are completely out. Completely out...of a medical treatment that has worked for the last 6 years to give someone the ability to be his best person, to give someone a chance to have structure and stability.Oh, and not even to mention that they close the drive through and force everyone to come inside! WHY force the elderly and disabled to come inside and walk to the back of the store when that might not be possible? WHY force the sick to potentially infect everyone in the store including the pharmacy staff?Why are we Americans forced with lackluster healthcare system in "the greatest country in the world"? Oh, yes, that is because we are NOT "the greatest country in the world". Our healthcare system here is for PROFIT... not for the HEALTH of the community.DO Better CVS....At least ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!!!!

This is the worst pharmacy in history!! The black pharmacist said ok (when I encountered my last problem with this pharmacy) when I told him I couldn’t take the way they do business anymore and I would be having my prescriptions sent elsewhere in the near future! Yes you heard me right, he said ok, like we don’t give a f—k about you or your business. I will never spend another dime at this CVS! Uncaring, rude employees to say the least!! Booooooo

Nothing like having the pharmacy drive thru line wrapped all around the parking lot and barely moving, then you get up to the drive thru window and see several employees standing around in there just socializing, with one person trying to do all the work. I have always been unimpressed by this store and this was the final straw that will lead to me switching my prescriptions. Anytime you go in the store it’s impossible to find any employees to help you, their shelves are bare with boxes of inventory lying around, and you’re forced to use self checkout - again because all the employees are back in the pharmacy area having social hour. The pharmacy hours advertised on their website are also incorrect - we tried to come here an hour before listed pharmacy closing on Sunday but they were already closed.

This CVS has extreme personnel problems. I had my 90 yr. old mother at the ER, they prescribed meds for her and sent them to Greencastle CVS pharmacy. I got her home and went to pick up the meds only to find a sign on the window, pharmacy closed until further notice. I've since had to transfer all her prescriptions to another local pharmacy. This place sucks.

Rude staff. Long wait times. They call you to say your meds are ready, but then you get there and they don't even have your scripts?My controlled substance medications (needed for survival) scripts are sent by my doctor to the pharmacy, my doctor confirms that the pharmacy received the order, I'm told to go pick it up, and the pharmacy claims they never received the script...something smells fishy. This has happened 7 out of 10 times. Anyone know what to do about this? Or who to call?

I have had terrible service from this location today and for the last several times I have had to get prescriptions filled. I've had them lie and say they never received the order that I watched the doctor send. I've had prescriptions take over 2 days to be filled, excuses, and attitude from the so call manager and employees. The pharmacy manager has been really rude!!! I've had them tell me there are no prescriptions in their system only to find out it was denied by insurance and they never called me or the doctor to notify anyone so it could be altered, changed, or approved. Overall, I'm extremely frustrated and angry that I have to jump through hoops to get medicine that I have purchase there many times before and having to go through the same craziness. Never should I have to deal with this lack of rudeness care and concern from a pharmacy. I would give negative stars if Google allowed it. This store needs management and employee overhaul. The people that works here at this CVS is giving the company a bad name!!!

Even one star is too many for this review. I made the mistake of having my Rx's transferred to this CVS and only have regret. This pharmacy has the lowest level of customer service I've ever experienced, and I strongly suggest avoiding business with them! If you need accuracy, honesty, and a pharamacist that can work to prevent interruption of necessary daily medications for yourself or for a loved one - then STAY AWAY FROM HERE because they are none of those things. They had no desire to correct Rx's dispensed and caused me such a run around for almost three weeks. In the end there was still no solution and I have to get my Rx else where because they were not capable of following through on the correction they said they would make. The cherry on top - I'll be paying out of pocket for my medication because they already billed my insurance. Save yourself the headache and have your friends and family avoid this pharmacy!!! This location needs to be closed or undergo complete restaffing if CVS wishes to protect their mission and brand. Just shameful and deplorable experience!

Generally, I don't mind coming into this store as the front counter workers are friendly, personnel in the pharmacy is another matter. It bothers me when I call a 'script in two days in advance ,then made to waite almost 15 minutes while she performed a COVID shot on somebody.. After she finished ,the pharmacist says my order was not filled yet, and I asked why? I wasn't expecting the outburst from her complaining to me that she's two days behind and doesn't have enough people to help out.! That's my problem? and no apology's what so ever. Also this has happened more than once!Management needs to get their act together, after this incident I will be changing pharmacy's, you lost a customer CVS!

Poor customer service to start but I needed a nebulizer which is rented after spending $40 for the medicine we were told we had to go to York for the nebulizer and the medicine couldn't be returned. This very well is policy everywhere but we should have been told before purchasing the medicine. I will never use cvs again too many pharmacies available in the area

Terrible! They are only open 10-6 Monday through Friday. This past Sunday they were only open 2-5. My husband tried to pick up a prescription yesterday through the drive thru. It was 5:50 and there were 2 cars in front of him. The first car was served and then they pulled the metal screen down when the second car pulled up. I guess I will be moving my medications again.

Only open from 10am - 6pm during the week? Seriously? People need access to their medication. Furthermore, I don't understand the need to close for lunch - especially considering the reduced hours. How about 1/2 take 30 minutes, then swap with the other 1/2?I updated from 1 star to 3. The hours are back to some type of normal, but I think they still suffer from being understaffed.

Lately the pharmacy staff have been much more friendly than usual but today I was given 2 prescriptions that do not belong to me!! I was picking up a prescribed mouthwash after having dental work done. When I got home & opened the paper bag, there were also 2 bottles of pills (both with my name & address). I called my dentist to see if these were to take in case of infection or something. My dentist had only prescribed the mouthwash. I called the pharmacy &, yes, somehow they had given me another person’s medicine!! The person who I spoke with acted like it was my responsibility to take the medication back to the pharmacy right away. I told her that it will be taken back at my convenience & it wouldn’t be happening right now. I am amazed at the incompetence of a pharmacy giving out prescribed medications to the wrong person! Sounding irritated that I wouldn’t be jumping back into my car right away to fix their mistake only irritated me more.

This CVS is absolutely terrible. The pharmacy workers including the pharmacists are extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. (Monica specifically.)Tiffany, one of the managers, does not take seriously the poor behaviors of those working as part of the store team. Customer service is not taught to their employees at any level. The entire store is unorganized and appears to be a cluster. I consistently have issues having prescriptions refilled or when initially prescribed. I’ve even had them “lose” electronic prescriptions that were “sent and received successfully”, according to the doctor. I’ve had to ask the doctor to resend prescriptions he already sent and were “successfully received” by the pharmacy the first time. I have never been to this location without some kind of issue. I have been spoken to rudely on many occasions and even hung up on over the phone. They are having construction done to the building and put a dumpster right in the path of he drive thru for weeks so far. The list of complaints is never ending with this location. I never write online reviews, but this CVS location deserves not even one star. It is the principle that I take the time out of my busy life especially during this holiday season to write this review. It is truly needed to provide a public service warning to inform others to stay away from this CVS location. Drive out of your way for more professional pharmacy service and customer service if you have to or choose another drug store/ pharmacy option all together.

I went in to pick up a prescription at lunch time for the pharmacy. So I walked around the store and had contact with Aniyah and Fern as they stocked shelves. They were very friendly and were putting things on clearance to make space for new items. I decided to purchase some of the clearance things and they went and got me a cart and helped me. Great customer care!
