Perfect neighborhood butcher 🍖🥓🥩. Great meat selections both frozen and fresh. Also carries local honey and organic products (e.g. Wild Fox). Folks are friendly and help with making selections, this is my second visit so far and I'm not disappointed! Highly recommended

If I could go to zero I would this guy charged me $53 for an un butchered tri-tip roast picture to follow had fat cap and silver skin on it. The fat has been left on and it looks like it's been jabbed at by someone who's never been taught how to use a knife. the kid at the counter was cocky and very useless every time you ask a question ,they treat you like they're doing you a favor.

Got a gorgeous fresh chuck roast on Saturday that made the most delicious, tender pot roast ever on Sunday! So good. I also love their sausage (fathead pepper sausage is the move!). Great jerky. I'm glad to spend a little more for local, quality meat and to support a local business. It's fresher, tastes better, and helps to support our local farms. I'll be back over and over.

Last Christmas steaks were perfect , this year not at all . Ordered 4 8ozs and 2 6ozs.Which should have weighed 2lb 12ozs, got home and weighed bag , 2lb 10ozs !!!Once opened could see immediately there wasn’t not 4 x 8oz size steaks !1 out of the 8oz was pure grizzle and thick fatty edge , grandson unable to eat !! One of the 6 Oz was all grizzle and in a two chunk piece ( like the leftover end of cut) .Compared to last year we all agree that the quality was not as good sad to say .

Got some chip steak a couple weeks ago. It was very good but guess I should have asked the price first. $15/pound!! Really? I paid $6.99 at Fredericks in Quakertown and it was just as good.

First time experience/Great experience. Purchased T-Bones ordered early in the week. The process of order to pick up was like clock work. However, the best experience was actually eating. Got to say, best steaks ever... flavor outstanding and tender big time. Have a lot of reference points to compare over the years. Keep up the great work!

I took my deer here to get processed. Had a very bad experience.First of all, I never actually met the butcher. Everything was done via text.The biggest thing...100 % why I am never going back and suggest you never take your deer there, the forms he has you fill out arent accurate. There was no spot for steak on the form. Which I was fine with, because i dislike venison steak. He turned some of my deer into steak without mentioning thats what happens. It sucked so bad. He aloo offers limited cuts of meat for the deer and his ground meat comes in 2 pound packages. Very impractical on my end. Probably saves him money, but think of the customer.Also, very pushy to get my deer once done. Most deer processing takes a few weeks. He had it done in a few days. And said I had to pick it up ASAP because his freezer was full even though I was traveling. Gave me no heads up or timeline.Over all just a bad experience and will never use this place for deer processing again. Stay away

Ordered for the first time. Customized orders for our parents for Christmas. Very professional, individually wrapped and put in a Christmas box. We were quite impressed! Walked into a clean and professional building. Organized, quick service. Prices are on point and posted online to make ordering easier and when I contacted them, they were very responsive. All around great job!! So glad they are close!!

Outstanding source of locally raised prime beef. The product is amazing: prime, dry-aged steaks and brisket, plus smoked bacon and scrapple made on premise. Very nice store with other victuals and super friendly team as well.

I have such incredible experiences here. Scott and Jessica are incredibly friendly and helpful. And they are more than happy to talk to you to give you advice on what you should buy for what you want to do. They genuinely care about what they sell, and they make sure that their customers are happy when they walk out the door. I highly recommend coming here when meat quality is primary concern.

New to the area and wanted to find a local butcher for higher quality meat than what is available at the super market. Back Home Butcher is it. I grabbed two ribeye steaks, a butter steak, as well as some fresh scrapple and beef jerky. The steaks were fantastic. The fat had far superior flavor than anything you'll find at the super market. The ribeyes were cut thinner than I like but I was told to just text in my custom order during the week and they will cut however I want, A+. The scapple was the best I've ever eaten. Perfect balance between fat, meat, and filler. It's going to be hard for me to eat brand-name scapple ever again. Jerky was super moist and delicious.For those wondering about price, expect things to be 1.5 - 2x the price you may be used to at the super market. The higher quality is worth the price, IMO!

Awesome store/business run by a nice family! Been going since they opened this location & haven't been disappointed yet. My husband says their scrapple is the best he has ever had! The steaks are great, took a bunch of their burger to a cookout & everybody raved how good they were.

The family that runs this shop is VERY friendly and helpful and their entire line of products is top notch! I have personally tried their soup bones for making KETO friendly bone broth, pulled pork (quart) their Delmonico/Rib Eye steak and my favorite is the high quality ground beef that they offer. There is a huge difference between the chain grocery stores meat products vs Back Home Shop and Country Store! If you care about the quality and taste of your food that you eat, give this store a try!

This place is the best. We drove 1 hour and 45 minutes from Maryland to get there just to buy a case of his sloppy joe sauce that he makes and bottles. It's the best sloppy joe sauce I have ever had in my life. Bought lots of meats while we were there and all are excellent. Definitely worth the drive. I'll be back to see you again Scott and Jessica.

I just found this place on Google and bought a skirt steak and some marrow and knuckle bones for bone broth. Great service! Very friendly. Adorable shop with great local goodies too (honey, candies, pickles, nuts, etc.). I will definitely be back!

Meat is good, no complaining there. The big issue is price. The prices for beef are astronomical. Anywhere from $5 to over $15 a pound over the average price per pound. So no matter how good the product is, it is not justifiable to to buy there.

Picked up some sausage, steaks, bacon and zooks chicken pies. Made the steak for dinner. It was the best steak I've had in a long time. Local rasied, grain finished what more can you ask for? They also have Frozen stuff ready to go!

Nice shop, pleasant owners, good cut of meat. Only issue is that I specifically asked to have a pork loin butterflied, and instead received the loin with a pocket cut into it. This is not what I asked for.

Went there for the first time today Labor Day weekend the people were so nice and helpful got a brisket to cook on the smoker the owner took the time to walk me through how to cook it I will not buy meats anywhere else now best experience I’ve had anywhere in a long time
