We had some time to kill before our show at the Keswick and since I had already crushed a burger, I was on the hunt for dessert and stopped into this charming, old-school ice cream parlor! The staff were very friendly and oh man, was the ice cream good! Best Butter Pecan ice ever had! Full pecans and each covered in a butter crunch shell 😊. Charm, wholesome ingredients and really cool 50s parlor vibe. Highly recommended!

I’m not sure what happened, but we just spent $40 for $12 worth of ice cream. I’ve brought my family here numerous times in the past, but this time I was simply aghast at the order I got. I used to let my daughters split the single scoop but it looked like a scoop from one of their toy tea sets.And I spent $4 for a pup cup. It looked like it was ice cream dropped from the bottom of a spoon…..This was just…. Sad.

Really nice place inside. I had the Non-Dairy Cookies n' Creme milkshake. It was really really good. Consistency was nice and thick, with chunks of cookies left in it after it was spun. "Matt" served me. Nice and very friendly guy. Price was reasonable, too. The only thing I have to say is that I wish the straws were a more solid material, instead of paper. The integrity starts to get weak, due to absorption of the liquid, if you don't finish it fast enough. I do like the environmentally-friendly idea, though. Overall, five stars for my first time visiting 👍.

Hard to be enthusiastic about this place, though it’s very charming. I’ve lived in the area for a few years now. When I first tried this place I thought it was ok, and was happy to support a local business.Came back recently and got some basic flavors to bring home - vanilla, coffee, and pistachio.I was really disappointed at the texture and flavor. I think what made it worse was that it wasn’t cheap.Vanilla didn’t have much vanilla flavor to it - it was more like milk cream. Pistachio tasted very.. synthetic? like a low quality extract.Thankfully there are abundant options in the area, but I do hope this business gets feedback on improving their ice cream quality.

Super cute icecream place in Glenside on Keswich Ave.! They have a fantastic selection of icecream flavors, all homemade and delicious. There is cute seating inside and the staff are all really friendly. They also have milkshakes and floats. Everything is made to be really aesthetic and old fashioned, so it's a fun spot to visit!

The Weldon is such a great place! They have a cool old fashioned store front which takes you back in time. Their selection is excellent and the ice cream is the best. They are dog friendly and have pup cups as well. Stopped in last night and got some ice cream nachos! Will definitely be back for those 😋

Summer time means ice cream...sometimes every night! Loved the throwback parlor concept and the variety of flavors. I had the the chocolate lovers and my wife again went cookies and cream. Strong ice cream game. Keswick Village has a keeper.

Weldon Soda Fountain is a Pennsylvania hidden gem. The ice cream was fantastic, but even then, it still was no match for the owner's customer service and hospitality. She was amazing. We will definitely be back. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed.

The ice cream was amazing! It was really creamy and they had a large selection of flavors. We got the ice cream nachos with their homemade waffle cone pieces. We also got some of their handmade sodas which were really refreshing. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent ice cream and homemade whipped cream. Delicious! Very friendly owners who want you to be happy! They were welcoming and friendly to my husband and I and our two children. The owner looked my children in the eye and listened to what they wanted. Thanks so much for a memorable family day out!

Delightful local homemade ice cream spot. Large variety of flavors, soft serve, toppings, homemade whipped cream, and drinks make this a great place for a group with a wide range of tastes. Dog-friendly including doggie ice cream. Plentiful outdoor seating and an exceptionally friendly staff round out the experience.

This was one of the best ice cream experiences I've had. Just the overall atmosphere, the care they put into their flavors, and the friendliness of the service. We were here when visiting friends, but we'll definitely be requesting a trip to The Weldon Fountain each time we're here.

The ice cream and milkshakes are great, and the ice cream parlor atmosphere adds to the experience. The staff has also always been very friendly and pleasant. With a couple visits under my belt, it's safe to say this is my new go to spot for ice cream.

We ordered the hot fudge sundae. Very good. The ice cream is home made and there were at least 20 flavors. They had soft serve, vegan ice cream, traditional hand dipped ice cream, a large variety of toppings and hand made sodas and shakes. The staff was very personable and the place was well lit and clean despite the high volume of customers. Well worth the trip.

I love this place! It’s a cute classic little ice cream parlor. Staff is always super friendly. Even when it’s crowded, the wait is never too bad. Lots of great flavor options too, I especially love the black raspberry truffle!

The best ice cream around. They have a ton of flavors, sundaes, milkshakes, pints to go, etc. The toppings are great (peanut butter sauce on brownie batter ice cream for the win) Beyond ice cream they have other drinks, cookies, and snacks as well. Add to that wonderful staff and a very old school vibe and you’ve got Weldon. This place is killer, check it out!

So apparently they don’t have lids & I had to juggle 4 cups of melting ice cream on the drive home. I ended up throwing mine out because it was put in a paper cup (rest were in plastic) and had melted all over me. This experience was disappointing to say the least but my kids seemed to enjoy the ice cream.

Great local old fashioned ice cream parlor. The handmade sundaes and shakes are delicious, and they have 10 or so hand made soda flavors. Our last visit was on a busy night and the wait was amazingly quick.

Their homemade ice cream was great from the tiny bit I was able to try. Unfortunately the serving size surprised me. I ended up getting a sundae for me and a friend to share, and it was mainly whip cream and chocolate syrup.. The ice cream was done within four scoops. Very pricey in my opinion. I will definitely try to give them another try in the future.

This is *the* place to go for ice cream in the area. They have a wide array of flavors and toppings. It's always crowded on summer evenings, but the wait isn't too bad. The servers seem willing to make just about anything you like if you want something unusual, too.
