Our pets are always well taken care of at RAU. Our dog, Melon is particularly fond of them! No pressure from the doctors for additional products or services, and they are always willing to answer questions or provide guidance to assuage our concerns. The prices are higher than what I am accustomed to but I trust the staff here and appreciate that they always seem to have adequate staff on hand and clean spaces. There are a few options in the area but I will continue bringing our girls here.

I had to put my 14 year old little girl down a week ago due to her cancer spreading, and Dr. Jayne Kirchhoffer was so kind, caring, patient, and understanding. Actually, the entire staff is very caring from the vets to the nurses, techs, and front desk personnel. This was and is a very emotional time for me, and I sincerely appreciate the care received from everyone. Dr. Kirchhoffer is the best!

Had to come in at around 8:15pm.due to what i thought were my dogs eating rasins while I was out of the room, even though thats only around an hour before closing they were able to have me come in and treat my dogs! The staff were extremely fast and friendly from entering in my dogs data, as I've never been to this animal hospital, to making sure the raisins wer either out of my dogs system or not harmful. Given the conditions I was extremely impressed and believe the staff deserve high praise for how they handled my concerns and were able to see my dogs on such short notice.

I am so grateful my friends told me about this veterinary establishment. I have never been so accommodated as an immunocompromised person in a medical setting!! They foster an open-minded atmosphere and an honorable dedication to service of the animals in their care, and the needs of them and their owners. They are even slightly less expensive than other comparable veterinary practices, I find the cost very reasonable. If you're looking for practical, efficient, deeply caring, widely knowledgeable, and competent vet professionals, then head to Rau! 👏🏻

Rau has always treated my cat as if he was their own. They've taken very good care of him and given me good advice on several of his problems.Edit: We got a kitten recently and Rau has been nothing but amazing getting him his shots and making sure he grows up healthy. Rau's facilities are always really clean and well maintained. The staff is always really friendly and very helpful.Dr Murphy has been really friendly and helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. She gave me some great recommendations for cat cardiologists when our kitten needed an ultrasound.

Wonderful staff and facility. We had an emergency when our family dog of 13 years passed on a Sunday and we could not go to our regular vet. Cremation services include a paw print which was very wonderful and unexpected. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends and family.

Dr. Messina has been so wonderful in helping my cat with his kidney disease. The vet techs and other doctors have also been great. My only complaint is that sometimes you guys are burning a really gross candle in the front area. But still five stars!

We had a great first annual visit after moving to the area. We have a large reactive dog and as a result, also have a lot of anxiety about bringing her to new places/being around strangers with her. Rau set us up for success and the staff was very patient from beginning to end. We were thrilled with the care she received and their understanding of her reactivity while providing various options to make it as painless as possible!

Rau is my third vet since 2005 and I love them. They do their best and have been there for me when I needed them. The only negative thing is occasionally reception and the medical staff aren't on same page. I went to pick up a single prescription and was told I needed others (I already had the others)... and I was one asked three times to pay for a fecal sample test that I had already paid for. But those are minor issues. There is no such thing as perfection but Rau comes pretty damn close.

I have brought my senior cat here a few times to see Dr. Rozak. The whole staff is kind and we really enjoyed Dr. Rozak. Unfortunately, I had to put my baby down, and brought her in for an urgent visit and had another doctor help us. I don’t remember that vets name but she was also amazing and extremely compassionate through the whole process. Obviously nobody ever wants to put their animal down but I couldn’t have asked for a better place to walk us through it. When I am eventually ready to open my heart up to adopting another animal I will definitely be bringing them here

We went to Rau for our puppy's first vet visit. They were very friendly, very knowledgeable and very patient with all my new puppy mom questions. The process even with all the covid precautions was extremely easy and efficient. We were very pleased!

They have great covid safety protocols. You pull in to a numbered parking space and someone comes out to check you in.They come out and take your baby pets in. They then correspond via your cell phone.You even pay for the visit via your cell phone.We took our baby kitty in and felt she was in good hands as we worked through diagnosing her tummy issue. And while the do not have ultrasound capabilities here, the referred us to a hospital who could.

We first came to Rau Animal Hospital because they were the only vet in our area where we could get our cat, Cooper, seen on what turned out to be his last day with us. The staff was so kind and caring and took such good care of our little friend who was in so much pain by the time we made it to their office. When we finally felt able to open our hearts and home to another furry friend, there was no other choice in our minds who our veterinarian would be. Rau has a great, devoted, knowledgeable staff who go the extra mile to make sure you and your pets are well taken care of and satisfied with their services. They seem to genuinely care about and for each animal who walks (or crawls) through their door. We have now added a new puppy to our family and are very proud to call Rau Animal Hospital our veterinarian for all our furry friends.

This was Macie’s first visit to Rau. We were greeted outside with a friendly welcome. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming.We waited a little bit due to an earlier emergency, but Dr Rosenblatt came out to apologize for the delay and let us know she’d be with us shortly.Dr Rosenblatt was excellent! Macie liked her a lot. Even getting her ears checked and two booster shots!! Dr R was kind and calming.I’m grateful to have good vet care in the area!!Thanks!

I went to 2 different vet doctors, but there is no body like Dr. Jane Kirchhoffer from Rau. She really took care of my dog and my dog is now eating and playing again. I will never go to another vet. Dr. Kirchhoffer is the best !

I first came to Rau to care for my cat of many years, when I woke up and she was bleeding. She needed immediate help and other locations wouldn't see her as she hadn't been in care. Rau agreed to see her, she had cancer. I felt the staff were very caring and delivered passionate care for her through her end of life. Having a comfort room to grieve with your loved companion was an experience that I will treasure, along with her paw print. As a first time pet owner, I wasn't aware of the neccessity of regular visits for an indoor pet. Since then we have adopted 2 lovely girls. Both cats are seen and treated with the same compassionate care. Rau's staff are the best.

I’ve had the pleasure of having my pets treated at RAU since the mid ‘80’s. First cats and now dogs in recent years. The Drs are brilliant and caring. The staff is excellent as well. Nurses, front desk folks are all professional and courteous. I highly recommend them to folks wanting to get the best care for their pets.

This place is fantastic, boasting the most caring and compassionate staff. They were consistently helpful, whether over the phone or in person. Dr. Brianne O'Loughlin, our dog's veterinarian, was incredibly attentive. She ensured we understood how to care for our dog over the past two months. Dr. Brianne was highly knowledgeable about our dog's condition and crafted a comprehensive treatment plan that not only improved our dog's wellness but was also cost-effective for us.Their flexible hours accommodate even the busiest schedules, and their pricing is both fair and reasonable. I am especially grateful, knowing that my dog received top-notch care and treatment. They supported my family through a difficult time when we had to say goodbye to our dog. The team was incredibly respectful, giving us the space and time needed to process her passing.I cannot speak highly enough of this veterinary hospital, its exceptional staff, and the dedicated doctors. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Rau has been great for my beagle. We go there for primary care and boarding as well as one minor surgery. The primary care services are on the more expensive side, but boarding is very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for any service they offer.

The entire experience was the absolute best.. From my initial call to the moment I walked out the door. Terri got me in the next morning when everywhere else I called would have me wait 2 weeks, she called out of concern and got me in.. Dr Jill, my hero! Caring, knowledgeable and the best vet ever! I'm happy to travel to PA from MD for routine visits and would only use someone closer to home if my Baby Girl was in crisis.. Thank you all for the love Layla and I received. I went to Rau to pick up my dog, Adrienne's, footprints from when she was euthanized last year. They were very nice and kind. They tried to save my baby, but her cancer was too far gone. They helped her go peacefully and really made the experience so much better for myself and my daughter. They liked my dog so much that several staff members were in tears right along with us. I worked at Rau many years ago and the care they give animals and their owners too, is unsurpassed.

I went to Rau for the first time. I wanted to switch because my aunt went there with her dog and I felt like I needed to find a vet that was closer to home. I am really excited about the switch. My prior vet was good too, but the staff made myself and my dog (Nelly) both feel comfortable during our visit. Nelly wanted to look out the window and they told her she could sit on the bench to do so to keep her calm. They offered her a few treats throughout her visit and were really happy to accommodate her. One thing I liked is that they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of shots and products. She got what she needed and we were on our way.

Friendly and seemingly competent vets and techs but this place is a tremendous rip-off. They routinely nickel and dime, and in comparison to other vets in the area, quotes for various procedures have been more than double at Rau. Sometimes even triple the cost of others. Had we not tried other places for our two dogs and cat we would have never known how ridiculously exorbitant Rau’s pricing was.

I've been taking my pets to Rau ever since the 1980s and have never been disappointed with the level of care and the professionalism, knowledge and professionalism of the entire staff. They are also incredibly compassionate and patient regarding the difficult decision of euthanasia. Highly recommend.

We just moved to Jenkintown & we live right across the from an Animal Hospital but we go to Rau Animal Hospital because the customer service & atmosphere is like family. We have 2 big dogs and they are our babies. Rau totally understands that. Family is all that matters....

The Rau staff is top notch--from the front desk staff to the nurses, techs and doctors, everyone is incredibly caring and accommodating. My two pups can be skittish at the vet, but the techs and docs are always extremely patient and sweet with them. The docs take their time to listen and explain all treatment options. We have never felt rushed or pressured.
