Best meats in the area! Really good prices too. Every time I stop in, there is something interesting to try - just had some thick cut honey bacon that was amazing. I really like that they package the chicken in a thick plastic bag because it makes it super easy to add a marinade when you get home! Just make sure you bring a check/cash.

Five stars aren't enough for Joe's Meat Market!The hoagies! Made to order while you wait. Rolls were soft and fresh, and deli meats and cheeses were fantastic. You won't find a better sub anywhere, guaranteed.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend the perfect cut or answer your questions.If you're looking for a great local butcher shop and deli that goes above and beyond, Joe's Meat Market is your place.

My entire extended family and I have been shopping at Joe's for as long as I can remember. This place is a staple in the community, and it's not difficult to see why. Joe's has always had fantastic prices, fantastic cuts of meat, great specials and great service. I was a bit nervous about the recent new ownership, but Bryce is awesome! The place is cleaner and more organized than I've ever seen. They've even introduced new products like gourmet burger patties and new sausage recipes which are fantastic! Whether you're local or not, tired of buying grocery store quality meat and looking for a butcher shop, check out Joe's. You won't be disappointed.

Since the new owner took over in spring 2023 the quality has plummeted. I paid for ground veal and got 50%fat- same with ground beef- all fat. They did not make right by me when I called to complain. Why go to a specialty butcher to get poorer quality than found at Acme?! That’s the last time I’ll shop there. Miss the old owners!!

Never go there. They quoted me 1 price over the phone and charged me double when I went to pick meat up. I am so glad I was on speaker phone and co worker heard quoted price.

I've been going to Joe's for over 20 years now. We used to live across the street but then we moved 30 minutes away. I still make the drive at least 3 times a month. They have great prices for high quality meats. They know every special cut of meat and even how to cook it. The deli meats are the best too. They slice the bacon and chip steak for you right there at the counter. No credit cards means lower prices and I'm fine with that. Everyone is so friendly and helpful even though it is always busy! EDIT (2/2024) I have not been back since the new owners took over.

I've been coming to Joe's market for years and I have been very happy with the chip steak until yesterday! The chip has always been nice and thin but for some reason it was thicker and more chewy. I know there are new owners now but they need to go back to the thinner cut.

Fantastic butcher, the freshest meats, my "go to" when short ribs are requested for a camping trip, (see below), lol, don't mind the drive from Quakertown at all, so worth it, nice family business, always pleasant to deal with!Update 2020, Rib Roast resting below, Made Christmas dinner scrumptious, AIWAYS the best meats, a true gem of a place, friendy family!

I have been to Joe’s about 10 times now in the past few months. I wanted to have a few different experiences before I posted a review. From the first to the tenth visit I’ve been extremely satisfied with my experiences. When I go in I always browse the meat selections and never feel rushed. The staff is always ready to help and offer any assistance or advise. They’ve talked to me about my recipes I plan to prepare as well as providing their own experience and expertise. The prices are very fair and keep me coming back. Typically you sacrifice price for quality when coming to a local butcher vs a big name super market. However, that is not the case here. Their prices are right online and mostly better. The only thing that upsets me is I waited 2 years after moving to the area to visit this establishment.Yes they are cash / check only, and to me that is no issue.The store baked ham is delicious. The meat is incredible. Their chip streak crafts better cheese streaks than I’ve found locally yet. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.Sorry for the novel… but thanks for the great customer service. If you haven’t tried Joe’s I highly recommend them!

Fantastic service! Excellent quality of cuts and good selection! Wish there were more like it! Wish I lived closer! The skirt steak did come with some silver skin but nothing to hard to deal with.

I bought an eye roast completely uneditable. The entire cut was complete grissle for $14.I took it back then they said we will make it up to you at half price like they were doing me a favor. I thought I would give them second and maybe it was a fluke.The second roast was just as bad.I got ripped off for $21 .I should not even have given one star.

Been going to Joes for at least 20 or 25 years, I won’t go anywhere else for my meats!, Their products are top notch, fresh and you see what you’re buying, if you wanna cut to your specific order they’ll do that too! Monica has helped me many times on how to cook certain things and they’ve always turned out perfect, she’s such a wonderful ,knowledgeable, helpful lady as a matter fact everyone there is really pleasant to deal with ,and just a real pleasure to see them every time I’m there!, They’ve been such wonderful people after the lossof my wife .They were really sad when I told him about my loss of my wife, as she was the one always putting and picking up the orders there ,so it’s not just about the store, and customers they have become friends of mine and I appreciate everything they’ve done for me, so don’t bother going anywhere else but Joe’s!!!!👍🙂

Just moved to neighbor. My Home Health Aide has come to the store @ my request. Everything I requested was spot on !!! I've tried deli, rolls, and pasta salad...omg. He didn't see chicken or potato salad. I've also inquired about FRESH FISH and of course meats. Because for now, I'm unable to walk. Either my aide, daughter or son in law will be making my purchases. Thanks for accommodating my many questions via phone Ms Butler

Everytime I come to this shop I leave wowed by the experience. This was my 4th time visiting and they remembered my name... i hadn't been here in weeks and only a few times before and they took the time to remember my name. That really sets the tone of this shop. The quality of the meat is second to none. They are always willing and able to make great recommendations and you can tell from the moment you get to the butcher counter that they really take pride in their product. I very much appreciate the respect they show for my business and I will continue to support them for any grilling needs I have!!! Thank you Joe's!!

My wife and I have shopped at Joe's for 30+ years (started when Heinz took over the store) before moving away from Ardsley. We watched Ralf and Monica grow up from little into the responsible adults they are. This is a tribute to Heinz and Rita. Ralf and Monica now are the two best people we know in the meat business. When ever we get down closer to Joe's we always stop in and purchase a quantity of meat to use and freeze. Hands down they have the BEST meat anywhere!! Hey Ralf and Monica, How about opening a Joe's in the quiet town of Perkasie?? We love you all.

First time at Joe's. The employees were extremely helpful and pleasant!! The store is well maintained! All of the meats at the butcher's counter looked fresh and delicious! The lunch meat counter had a wide variety of meats and cheese with very reasonable prices. Visited the store for the chip steak which was absolutely delicious!! Will definitely return to try other items!!

We ordered Filet Mignon steaks from Joe’s for a New Year’s Party dinner. The workers were very helpful on the phone and got the order perfect. The steaks were trimmed really well (per our request) and the meat was fresh, tender and delicious. The store feels a little older, but you can tell it is classic and well taken care off.

The best part about living in Ardsley is being able to walk to Joe's and not worry about parking in their always busy lot!The meat is fresh, there's a great selection, and everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are incredibly fair for the quality you're getting, and there are always great specials.

This is a great store. You want deli meats and cheese? They got it. Their bacon (especially sliced thick) is delicious. You have to go to the back of the store, where the meats are. YUM. Their smoked pork chops are super, and they not only know how to cut the meat, they will share recipes too! You can also get all kinds of last-minute groceries here too. The service is great. It's a community hub; you meet friendly neighbors as you are waiting to get or pay for your orders. If you haven't already gone, GO!

Local staple! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and social. Great for fresh cuts of meat- they'll pretty much get any cut you want or grind any meat for you. Deli specials can't be beat- especially the land of lakes naturally slender chesleae for under $4 a pound! Some dry goods can be slightly over priced but you're paying for the convenience of waking around the corner as opposed to driving to a bigger store.

Great spot. Customer is not limited to what the vendor puts on the shelf. You want a thick steak? Ask. You want a thin pork chop? Ask. Also, the more unpopular cuts that are hard to find are here: beef short ribs, hanger steak, tri tip.

Got Joe's Meat Market flyer last week and was curious. The man at the back of the store (where the meat counter is) saw us coming, met us at the meat counter, and asked how he could help us. His name is Ralph, and he was a lovely combination of personable and helpful. We actually got to chatting about our moms. Mine was with me and had glasses on inside the store. (I explained she had had eye surgery and had to keep them on. Ralph relayed his mom also had eye surgery, but she's doing better). My mother wound up getting an entire pork loin. Ralph gave her a discount on top of their very good prices. I got ground lamb, the best prices anywhere. (I checked online beforehand). The store is small, but the produce was fresh (my mother got tomatoes and bananas), as well as the milk and eggs. (Their egg prices beat Walmart's). What a gem of a store. We will be back.
