this is already my least favorite location, but then when i have to go you have 27 check out lanes but only 2 open with a cashier. all the self check out is closed. get real. no one wants to deal with a cashier anymore. so unpleasant

Self checkouts never seem to work correctly with it consistently getting "clogged" and requiring a manager. Aisles are full of huge carts from online shopping and the staff won't get out of your way to access items. Deli no longer cuts certain meats to order. Most coupons now require their app which means letting them sell your shopping data.

There's not much to say. It's a giant eagle. Self check out was closed for some reason. Only 2 employees working registers later in the day. Pharmacy is fast and efficient. Drive thru is easy.

Giant Eagle is the most overpriced store in the Pittsburgh area. I tend to only go to the store as a last resort. Kuhn's, Aldi's, and BJs are so far ahead of Giant Eagle by way of prices. This local Giant Eagle is one of the better ones. It has a nice Ace Hardware store, but regarding the food it is often not stocked, and they tend to throw items they have too much of just somewhere on the shelf and the missing item doesn't get ordered. For a Giant Eagle though this one is one of the better ones.

Don't find anything you like here. As soon as they find out, they will stop carrying it and replace it with their own garbage generic brand. The only good thing here was the Swiss Diet Iced Tea (if they would ever keep it in stock? Poorest run grocery I have ever been in and unfortunately this is my closest grocery store. Meat is overpriced for less quality. Go to Dave's Meats up ROUTE 8 further.

Waited for 15 mins to get deli meat , second in line , three people behind counter . Waited 30 mins in the line at the register , three lanes open . Staff literally just walking around like zombies . It’s a Monday afternoon . Gibsonia blows this one out of the water .

I love using the pharmacy at this Glenshaw GE location. The staff is very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I'm new to this location and am grateful.

Why do I keep giving this place try after try?! Over the past 3+ years I have ordered at least 5 cakes from this particular location and when I pick them up, 100 percent of the time they have been make incorrectly. I have even tried the bakery at waterworks and the same thing happened. I spent a good 2 minutes ordering a cake from the Glenshaw bakery this week and went over the order several times to ensure we were all on the same page. I pick the cake up today and it is totally not what I ordered. I mean several things were wrong with it. I am mad at myself for ever thinking this place could get their ducks in a row but I would love to know what the disconnect is with this place and how this continues to happen. I am done with this bakery forever.

UPDATE: The deli closes at 5pm no matter what day it is.I've never had any problems at this location. People need to realize that there are still staff shortages no matter where you go and if you have $750 worth of groceries don't go to self checkout. Prices are high no matter where you go. Sign up for the Giant Eagle MyPerks card, clip coupons to that card and buy what's on sale to help you save money. If you look at the price tags, some will say "MyPerks price" and its usually a couple dollars cheaper than without the card.

This Giant Eagle recently rearranged it's shelves and reduced the number of food items they sell. They did it to put an Ace Hardware in about 1/3 of their floorspace. So if you like your vegetables under the same roof as a hardware store that does paint mixing, go ahead and risk it. We are dismayed at the reduced selection and disappointed at the very bad move this store has taken. None of the employees I spoke to about it in the month they've been restocking shelves was happy about it either. Avoid this location!I've also noticed they get produce that is covered in dirt. I've never seen bell peppers look as bad as the ones they have in this store.

This store is always clean and well stocked. They always have great produce. The deli employees are always friendly and helpful. The bakery is great too. They have the most delicious cakes. I really like the hardware store there it has everything that you need for a quick fix around the house.

Consistent rising price gouging. Consistent rearranging if product aisles. Overpriced and inconsistent. Take reasonable products off shelves and replace with overpriced lousy items. Complain but they do not get back to you. Almost done with this grocery market. Also, the produce section is not good. Brown lettuce ends, mushy apples, tasteless citrus....Really getting tired of this store. If it wasn't for fuel perks I'd be gone. And still considering other alternatives. Regardless of a new CEO, if they don't STOP GOUGING PPL WITH RISING UNECCESARY PRICES I WILL SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE. This company is on the bubble and if it keeps going as it has been, they will lose this 25+ yr loyal exclusive customer. Period.

This is a great store, convenient to Hampton Shaler and Gibsonia as well as Etna. It's also kept very clean and very well staffed.I also love the fact that there's an Ace Hardware in the store itself, so if you have an emergency fix that you need to do you can get hardware and tools while you shop for groceries.My only dislike of this location is that it is no longer a 24-hour store thanks to the stupid Covid-19 outbreak.

This giant eagle is GREAT! The store is always clean. Most of the employees will go out of their way to help you. I usually get curbside pick up; Zach and Noah are extremely helpful and careful when loading groceries into my truck. P.S. If you get curbside, please tip your helpers they work hard :)

This is a great supermarket for everything that is on your list 😀!I stopped by for some outdoor hanging flower 🌼🌸 baskets!They had exactly 💯 what I was looking for, and a price that was reasonable!You can't go wrong with shopping at this store!Handicap ♿ parking is plentiful with easy access to the front door!Restrooms 🚻 are large enough for a walker to get in also!

Great place to shop, huge selections. The staff is always helpful with directions on where a specific product might be, awesome fresh meat and seafood displays, as well as cheese and bakery departments. They have decent wines,ipas,beers domestic and imported, plus novelty cocktails. All around a clean and comfortable place to stroll around and get your necessities!

My husband & I have been making use of the shop and delivery service. It has been a life saver for us. Great grocery store. Everything you could possibly want, and maybe some things you don't. Stores are big and well lit and very comfortable for shopping. Competitive pricing promotions, and a pretty good customer loyalty card system that earns great gasoline discounts at their pump stations. Great bakeries and meat department, flowers and wine sections. Stop by, you'll like it...

This giant eagle feels run down, and is kinda....dirty. I feel like there's a film on my hands when leaving. The prices are insane on half the products, so you really should avoid any and all giant eagles (and their "community market" locations as well) if you want basically anything that comes in a package. The meat is fine, the deli counter recently lost my favorite, Cajun turkey, and the selection is getting worse. the bakery has a large selection of donuts nobody wants, they taste like they're frozen and shipped in, blech.I never thought I would say this, but do yourself a favor and drive 3 miles down to the super Walmart. It's still a soul-destroying corporation but their products are cheaper and better

In store shopping is allowed.Staff are wearing masks although some barely have them on.All of the aisles are marked for one way shopping. Most of the staff I encountered was helpful.The pharmacy and especially the staff are great. I am always amazed when some Rx staff greet me by name before I say anything.
