6 years, 3 different training facilities, CBD, and doggie Prozac with no results. We were so desperate to find help for our girl so we decided to stop in to Convergent and just have a conversation. Dog training is not “one size fits all” and this was the first time that a trainer listened to what we needed and built a program specifically for our dog. Chip did a free evaluation which consisted of him coming to my home to really get to know and understand my dog in her environment. One of the previous trainers we hired took $150 for an in home evaluation, told me to get a can of pet corrector and a prong collar for a dog with fear and anxiety. We made the decision to go all in and take a chance on Chip, Brittney and team and the results have been amazing! We have gone from a dog that would lunge at cars, bark at birds and leaves and anything that move, and lose her sh!t if we had to pass another dog to a calm, well behaved dog that stays at my hip with no pulling. She is still a work in progress and Chip continues to spend time with us outside of the facility. We even take trips to Home Depot and I got a compliment from a stranger about how well trained my dog was. Never in a million years would I have thought we could even step foot inside a store with my dog. Chip and team have given us a dog that we can now enjoy instead of keeping her locked up in the house. They also offered to work with my other dog that needs a few manner adjustments. You will not be disappointed with this team and you will see results because they care.

Convergent K9 was the best thing I could’ve done for my dog!! I rescued a 6yo mixed breed and she came home with pretty bad dog reactivity. She went through the 6 week training course that was recommended by the owner and I truly could not recommend it more. My goal for this class was to be able to take my dog out in the community (parks, dog friendly restaurants) and thanks to these awesome trainers we can! The trainers were clearly dedicated to her progress and they were all so sweet to her! You can tell each one of these trainers truly loves the work they do. I can’t thank them enough for how they changed our lives!!

Kind trainers, great with people and dogs, additional Saturday classes and support as needed. They definitely really do love the dogs they work with. Rosie came in for some reactivity concerns and they have been wonderful to work with - every time Rosie sees them she immediately wants their attention and affection!

I have had the privilege of working with Convergent K9 for the last few years. They have taught our GSD, Tillandsia, to do so many things outside of our imagination. This working breed was new to my wife and I, and we were educated and trained on how to make her life and our life better. I am very happy with the results of Floki’s training at Convergent K9. He was showing food aggression towards my other animals when it was feeding time. Britney and Chip corrected the behavior. In addition they worked with him on other commands to encourage safe behavior and listening commands. They were wonderful and treated Floki like their own ❤️. I will continue to have a friendship with Brittney and Convergent K9 and highly recommend.

The training and team at Convergent K9 is unmatched elsewhere. Not only is it effective, they are truly partners for life! They care at a level that I have witnessed at other places. My dog gets truly excited and happy to see them when we go - that means a lot to me and my family. We recently used Chip for board and train for our three older dogs (two of them are rescues with sad histories and some behavioral issues). I am a local veterinarian, so I am very particular with my animals and wouldn’t trust just anyone with our dogs. Chip came over to our home for an initial consultation and spent a lot of time with us and our dogs. He was very honest in how he thought he could help. During their stay, he sent us updates and videos and was totally transparent. We couldn’t be more happy with the results - we now have 3 dogs that we can manage. I highly recommend going with convergent to all of my friends, family and veterinary clients.

I have a Belgian Malinois Shepherd who walked me and basically ran our home. After falling 4 times while walking him, I realized he was too much for me to handle. In the process of deciding whether I would be able to keep him, I was referred to Convergent K9. Chip and Britt agreed to accept him into their Board and Training Program. They were and are wonderful. Blessing my fur child, has been transformed into a blessing instead of a curse. He listens much better and his behaviors are modified from difficult at best to compliant. Convergent K9 isn't just a place that trains dogs. Convergent K9 is a most needed Ministry of Love and Compassion for dogs and the people who own them. God said LET THERE BE CHIP AND BRITT and Let there be CONVERGENT K9 and there is. WHAT A BLESSING!

We recently adopted a dog from a very abusive situation. It was severe enough that he had to have a leg amputated. Our little guy was terrified of people outside of our family. He had a lot of fear aggression and was overprotective of me in an unsafe way. He took part in Convergent K9’s three week program. After just three weeks with Chip and Brittany he has gained so much confidence in not just himself, but people as well. He exhibits less fear and no longer growls and barks at everyone. He loves listening to the commands he learned and is so proud to show them off. I feel like this program gave Buddy another chance at a better life. The update videos of him throughout the program made my day. It was so great to see him grow and it eased some of the pain of missing our guy. I would recommend this program to anyone! I think Buddy even misses his new friends. I look forward to using them for boarding services in the future so he can visit his friends. This has been an amazing experience for Buddy and us!

Chip and Brittany did so great with our dog Louie. They truly love what they do and it shows! From weekly videos/pictures to all the cuddles Louie received we knew our baby was in great hands. The dream dog program has made our life 100% easier. We can now be outside with the kids without Lou being on a leash and we are so thankful because we wasn’t sure if we would ever get to that point. Your dogs will be very well taken care of here! I needed someone to watch my pups last minute and they were available and I am so glad I got a referral to them! My pups were loved and they loved them. It was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and the daily pics gave me such relief. I highly recommend using them anytime your pups needs watched. They have good prices and I will be going back to use them again!

Expensive and unable to deliver.. while in concept they have a great facility, they do not have many actual trainers.I was duped into giving them a couple THOUSAND dollars to work with a trainer that never was actually part of the organization. It was never mentioned that the trainer in question wouldn’t be working with my dog. The ONLY reason I agreed to pay up front was after spending time with this trainer and talking about what I wanted to see happen.While everyone is super NICE.. That’s not what I was paying for.They talked about having charts to show what was worked on that day, take home info, and an end of day recap.. all of that fell short.. in other words didn’t happen or was done so poorly it didn’t matter muchSeveral of the “trainers” were clients looking for jobs…and that’s fine.. I support and love that.. AS assistance until they learn..I really wanted to believe in them.. and I was kinda stuck having already “prepaid”… but ultimately the entire experience fell very short of expectations.I spent a few weeks saying the most important thing I wanted to “graduate with” was a decent heel command.. and I was reassured multiple times that it would happen.. nope missed that mark too.The final “class” was canceled and never rescheduled either.I’m sure they do just fine for a lot of owners.. and if you want “fine”… Go right ahead. I’m sure they’ll take your money and you will see some results..I have expectations when it comes to services and my standards are high. I can not recommend anyone spending their money here.

Brought my Karli for her fear aggression. The results have been excellent! She has met other dogs with no problems, has allowed strangers to pet her, and seems much more confident. Chip and Brittany were patient and worked wonders for her! Everybody we know sees the difference. They are also available if she has any setbacks. I thank them and would highly recommend them. Also the videos they sent of her progress was an added bonus! 5 Stars!

Not only did they take good care of my dog, but I am now able to walk with my dog off leash in the yard and he stays with me!! I can now walk with him on the leash as well without him dragging me !! He is well mannered and well behaved!! I can honestly say if you are in need of someone to train your dog take them to Convergent K9 !! Chip & Brittney Lockwood will not let you down!!

This place was a godsend they helped our little girl Echo go from rambunctious little ball of energy to a very well behaved and much better listener than she was before we send her In for her off leash training, so we'll in fact that my girlfriend was able to walk her herself for the first time yesterday since we've got her. Would recommend them to anyone having problems or needing some assistance with there fur babies, they really care about the animals they work with and it shows. Absolutely love this place! Your furbaby is treated like family and very well taken care of. Their training is awesome, I'd recommend them everytime. They watched our furbabies while we went on vacation too and i could tell they were in great hands. Our dogs loved it and they were loved on like they were home. Beyond 5 stars!!!

Wonderful and caring people to help me get my boys manners under control . His first day home he was faced with a natural challenge ( bunnies and cats ) with learning his commands, he stopped in mid chase , no barking like a mad man and came back to me , was so happy I didn’t have to go tackle him down to leave them alone. I don’t even know where to begin. I met the owner while he was training an Akita at Lowe’s Home Improvement.I have a German Shepherd. She was 2 at the time October 2020, and I asked Chip if he would see if she could do any specialty type training.He worked with scent training, trail hunting, and shed (antler) hunting. These may not be the technical terms but let’s just say you can put her in a scent and she knows she’s going to work.From the first time He met Tillandsia, she connected, she was excited, and she did pretty much anything Chip asked if her and showed her.There was an understanding and communication that I don’t have the gift for, and it shows. Tillandsia has so much fun and I would recommend Convergent K9 to anyone looking for, obedience training, to more specialized type training, you won’t just get a trained pup at the end, you will also make a great friend.
