I tried to order online expect for some reason this location does not come up on their website. I figured no big deal it's Saturday I am in no rush, so I looked at the menu online, decided what I wanted, and went there. I walk up to the counter, give the guy my order, with out even spending looking and deciding what I want cause I already did that online.The guy takes my order, and the scoffs "ah you know next time you can call ahead and get your food faster". I said "oh I am sorry but I am in no rush take your time". This made the guys even madder and he scoffs "other people around you are". Not sure what me calling in or not has to do with other people's wait time but sure. I just said oh sorry and didn't even mention the fact that I wanted to order online but couldn't cause this location does not appear on the website! Then as I am standing there patiently waiting for my food not doing anything every customer that comes in to pick up a phone order he looks right at me and says to customer "thanks for phoning your order in we appreciate it".The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, and they were not expensive or cheap. So if par to sub par food and prices, and lousy customer service is your thing this place is for you, otherwise stear clear, or I guess call your order in to not piss anyone off.

The employees are well… young which good for them it gives off a first job type climate but it definitely messes with efficiency and quality. One poor girl was making all of our food while others were doing whatever it was so. The food was also soggy and just flat out not very good, maybe it was the timing but I don’t feel confident I need to go here again, and if the company responds to this in any way that isn’t apologetic then it proves what they are about haha.Edit: the company does care about quality and making it right and was apologetic towards my review which is a good thing. My review is honest and doesn’t need changed so I’m leaving the rest here! Thankyou for caring❤️ bumping up to 4 star for that.

I thought I’d give them a try this morning before work. I got to work in Jersey then opened my sandwich to nothing but hopes dreams and disappointment. I ordered a Turkey bacon egg and cheese and got 2 boney slices of Turkey bacon. The price would be fine if they gave you your moneys worth. I’m very disappointed.

The customer service at the Glenolden PA location is terrific and they go above and beyond for their customers!! My daughter and I went in for lunch and when we went to leave my car wouldn’t start and they were all so nice and helpful. I wish I had gotten their names because they definitely deserve recognition for their kindness since it was almost 100 degrees outside and they allowed us to wait inside until the tow truck came. One employee even offered to jump my car and did try, however, we found out it was the starter. I highly recommend visiting this location any time you’re in the area and are craving yummy breakfast food with amazing service!!!

I'm not sure how this place has over 2 stars let alone 4+ with the owner of the franchise knowingly falsely advertising....and trying to justify it in a condescending fashion when a concerned customer brings it to his attention.I rarely leave negative feedback. If I don't like something i typically learn my lesson and avoid it. I cannot stand a business owner who is rude to customers AND takes advantage!on the menu, it readsbakers dozen value pack-13 bagels 2 tubs of cream cheesebelow it reads bagels onlythen 1/2 dozen value pack-6 bagels 1 tub cream cheesebelow that bagels only.I have frequented many other manhattan bagel franchises and this is the only one that the "bagels only" magically is only 12 bagels.I live around the corner from this location. I was excited to learn it was in the area when we moved here as i grew up eating manhattan bagels in a different town. I was let down from the get go, but they're a decent option in town. I was fed up with the poorly dressed bagels and the rude service so I started going to a location about 10 minutes further. When in a time crunch or I don't feel like a half hour trip for bagels, I'll stop in.This morning I tried to explain how the corporate menu means something, he tried to explain it's a different interpretation. That's complete BS. there are descriptions under many items on the menu. when a "sub item" doesn't redefine the description. lt means the terms are the same.The owner/manager Jay is condescending and rude if you have anything to say about business. It's a franchise...not a privately owned restaurant with freedom of menu creation and recipes. I have managed restaurants for a while now, and to me this is embarrassing.I will not be going back here and when I told him that he said good! he obviously doesn't need me money! does he need yours? I'm not okay spending money for someone who doesn't' appreciate the value of a customer. I work hard for what I have, and I ALWAYS listen what the customer has to say, I don't make excuses or justifications...and I certainly wouldn't be rude to the people paying my bill just because I don't like what they have to say. There are a few mom and pop bagel shops in the area i'll be using them from now on, and when i'm craving that manhattan bagel, i'll drive the extra 5 miles and know that the person i'm supporting actually cares about customer satisfaction and not just counting his dollars.the reason to go to a franchise or a chain restaurant is consistency in quality and price. this place should bring back a childhood sense of happiness yet it's alway a disappointment.see attached pic of an "everything bagel" what a joke. that looks like a plain bagel that was in the bag with something else. another issue I have brought to the owner's attention. and of course I was dismissed because how could i know what I'm talking about? seeds are expensive? manage waste, manage labor and perhaps you wouldn't have to overcharge and underporiton.

I recommend this place. The food's price is very low the service is great and they have plenty of parking and a big bathroom. I paid 6 bucks.... If I ate this in Philadelphia it would cost me at least $10 or more but because it's not Philly the taxes cheaper and they don't penalize you for drinking their sodas.

Great customer service. I ordered the Ellis Island. Only one issue....the pickle is put in the bottom of the box folded once in wax paper, but it still soaked through all the napkins and the box bottom.

Very disappointed Manhattan Bagel... I was craving a MB Sunday morning. I called ahead as the one employee always says to do, and they responded 20 minutes. Cool! I get there in 20 minutes, and end up having to wait another 10 minutes for my order. Normally, I wouldn't be too upset. However, as you can tell by the attached picture, it seems as though they're rationing their bacon because I barely got any bacon on my BACON , Egg, and cheese bagel. This is a pathetic view of your product. I expect Bacon with my BACON egg and cheese bagel. DO BETTER.

We go to Manhattan bagel at least 3 times a week, so I think that says it all, service is excellent, I would recommend calling a head of time and picking up, that's what we do!!

Staff was friendly, location was clean, however, there was an egg shell in the egg of one of our sandwiches. Pretty crowded on Saturday mornings.

Had to place my order 3 times before actually getting the right items. Breakfast sandwich was missing the salsa. Coffee urns are gross. Watched an employee make their own coffee using half and half from a fridge, apparently the stuff left out for the customers isn’t good enough. Really wish there was another bagel place in Glenolden.

Cute and warm little building. Decent selection of bagels and the bacon and egg are good. My favorite bagel is the cheddar, I also like honey whole wheat. They don’t have too much to offer, just the basics, but they do have some little pastries like lemon cakes as well plus coffee and other drinks. Staff is always nice and quick as well

Love this place great food but the young man vince that works there keeps double charging me for food with a smirk on his face and refuses to take the sandwhich cards. Everyone else here is amazing but this kid seems to be an issue on multiple occasions now. When confronted he even tries blaming other employees like i didnt just watch him make the mistake.

They sell hashbrowns but don't have the correct equipment to make them or keep them. Every time we asked for hashbrowns, the counter person tells us it will take 20 min to cook a McDonald's style hashbrown. No heat lamps or fryers to accommodate customers. They even gave my daughter a frozen hash brown to take home with us to cook ourselves. They shouldn't offer it on the menu if they aren't or won't serve it. Other than that bagels are always yummy.

Staff is friendly, bagels are fresh and delicious plus the prices are great!They also sell doggy bagels which my dogs love.Their baked goods are good, too. So far we tried the cheese Danish and corn muffin.

Pre-order is the best! The older male gentleman who works the register (possibly owner) was such a pleasure. He was so nice and welcoming. Food is great! Bagels are always fresh. You can't go wrong with a Manhattan bagel breakfast sandwich here!

Best bagels ever. I buy a dozen then separate in plastic bags, 6 in freezer, 6 in refrigerator.Set out one each morning to room temperature and they get nice and soft and fresh. Love them.

The girl with the glasses and hat, is an amazing employee.. she’s the only reason why I go there.. food is good. But your phone service is garbage. I’ve called 41 times over the span of 35 minutes and the lines are still busy.. it’s 2021 get with the program. And when I get there they are closing at 12 for a game to watch? And they didn’t even take my order.. this place isn’t seeing my money anymore.. and I literally come here everyday.. they were still cooking and told me they can’t take my order.

Feel very uncomfortable coming into this location lately. The manager makes a lot of smart remarks. I walked in to order he told me to call next time. No problem. I ordered my food. And his comments were yea the people that don’t call in always order the the most difficult order. I just ordered an avocado sandwich. Then my fellow employee orders an farm house sandwich the manager commented gosh that’s a lot of ingredients on that sandwich. Why have the order on the menu if you don’t want to make it. I come in with a uniform on maybe that’s why I don’t get the respect I deserve here.

Check your order before you leave!!!! The last 3 times my order has been wrong. That right 3x in a row. Its not a difficult order. Bacon egg white and cheese. What is the problem every time? When you wait 25 minutes for your food, you really dont like waiting again for them to correct the problem. I received a refund but not for the whole amount i paid. Didnt want to argue so i left. Get it together people!!!

Filthy, rude, has gone so downhill. Placed an order today, go in to pick up and told they dont have it. Then, rudely the three people there insisting they didnt get an order. Since the girl at the counter didnt even know the phone number for the store, i am not surprised. Even after i showed them on my phone that i called the correct store. They had no more bagels. :( it was absolutely filthy in there behind the counter. That was the last straw. Never again.

Food was decent but not worth it. Called in 25 minutes before I got there. After 25 minutes I asked if it was ready and they said they call for me when it's done. After ANOTHER 10 minutes and me seeing a bunch of people who ordered in store get their food, I asked again and it seemed that they forgot to call for me.
