I brought my kitten here to get declawed in 2020. (I am just seeing this about glen coft now that's why it's so far away from when this happened) so 1st instead of staying the 2 nights she was supposed she stayed over a week. The office staff wouldn't tell me why she was staying so long just that she had complications or whatever it was with the surgery. So fast forward to the day i had to bring Bella back in for her follow up appointment. The office staff were a couple young kids who really wer at all and they started telling us that only the woman Dr does the laser and that my Bella had the laser done... Well, my girlfriend and I were in the room waiting for the Dr and we heard HIS voice (meaning the woman Dr did not use the laser on my cat) immediately when Bella heard the Dr.'s voice she jumped up onto my girlfriend's shoulder, she was so scared!! (This is how she got the nickname Birdie!) I forget exactly what reason except that she had cysts under her toes on why she was there over a week or what exactly went wrong with her surgery but i told him "I wasn't paying the other half of the bill because obviously the surgery wasn't done correctly" (i already paid the 1st half the day i brought her in) he agreed that would be ok. What Dr only lets you pay half of a surgery bill and that is ok with them!? Only one that severely screwed something up and they knew it... Not to mention we were rushed because he had band practice.. I did not know declawing was illegal and I did not want to get it done to begin with but my mother said I could not have her unless I did. Now when she goes to the vet she will not even get out of her cat carrier and she pisses herself because she is so traumatized. If I could give them a zero I would but it is not an option.... and If I could put them out of business I would he is no right to be calling himself a vet because he had more interest in his band practice then he did tell me what happened to my kitten... Please do yourself a favor and do not go there you will save your animal from a horrible PTSD. She has severe separation anxiety right now.

Wow wish I would have read reviews before going because this place is HORRIBLE! Go anywhere else seriously! Place is a SCAM! DIRTY, RUDE, SCAM! Firstly the place is disgusting, the ceiling was literally falling in in the exam room we were in. I wanted to leave as soon I stepped foot in the back but this was the only place that could see my boy the same day… now I know why. They also charged me 65 dollars for the vet to bring us back, tell me there’s nothing he can do, then for us to leave.. I politely asked if we could talk about the price for what we got and I got screamed at by all 3 employees at once. Literally they were all screaming including the vet. I was told on the phone blood work would be drawn and tests were going to get down, but they didn’t do a thing then charged me $65!! I was there for less than 10 minutes. This place is a scam, the vet himself was so rude and not understanding. I’ve never been treated like that before and I’m actually glad they didn’t touch my boy because I wouldn’t want them to touch me!! Please go somewhere else

Brought my pet rabbit in for a check up, and he is not eating his hay.Everyone was friendly and showed genuine concern for Coco bean.The doctor was awsome 😍Very kind and knowledgeable about rabbits. He went over everything with me and set up a plan of treatment that I could understand and gave me step by step directions. My rabbit "Coco bean " was comfortable and was handled very good .Thank you Glencroft vetinary hospital for taking such good care of Coco bean ❤️

Like others I Wished I had read read the reviews. Took my Dog Symba there yesterday to get euthanized. And they had us sitting in the room for 20 min. Then when this so called dr. Came in and stuck the needle in my dogs paw. My dog started screaming for atleast 5 min. He told me my dog wa just sensative. But let me say this, Its very simple to distinguish the difference between sensative and utter pain. He kept jamming the needle in saying he couldnt find the vain. When actually he was just grinding the needle on his bone I started screaming at hm to stop.but he was just so indignant.By this time it was to late anyway. The damage had been doneThen to top it off it took my Symba 15 mins to pass on where it should have only taken a few mins.. So for 5 to 7 min of that he was in agony. This dr. russell should have his license taken away. Please Please take you animal to another Vet. Do this for your animal.

The Veterinarians and staff at Glencroft Veterinary Hospital are caring and respectful of all of my animals as well as myself and family. You can tell that they really love animals and know how to treat them with gentleness and respect. I have five pets, two cats, two dogs and a rabbit. I have been to other good veterinary hospitals and I would not go anywhere else.

Worse place ever!!! Took our beloved dog there with a breathing issue and cough. He was a patient there his whole life. We were told by the Doctor he would call Monday. No call and guess what they were closed. Left a message and on Tuesday we were told they would call on Wednesday. On Wednesday I took my dog to another vet. Testing completed with the worse outcome. After putting our dog down due to invasive cancer on Thursday this place finally calls with X-ray and bloodwork results.Worse place no kindness, no compassion !

Glencroft Vet. Service is extremely good with my two small breed dogs. They have cared for my last 5 dogs and have taken very good care of them. My boy is a yapper and quite a baby when it comes to shots and nail clipping - they really do take good care of him-and tolerate a lot! My little girl is normally calm, cool, and collected! She's easy to care for. The girls in the office are very good at what they do and kind to both my babies!

As we all know it is absolutely horrible to put down a pet. No one knew us there but everyone was so sympathetic to our needs. The doctor went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable. We will never forget his kindness.

I have been taking my cat there since I moved into the area. (5+yrs) the staff are friendly and the Dr.s always treat Mr. Felix with care. Oh and to answer a question posted earlier... The entrance is on the side Facing Glenolden Av.

The staff is always very polite. I've been here three times now and they are very loving to all the animals. They know my puppy by name. They are very patient and answer all questions you have. The prices are reasonable, especially if you compare them to other vet hospitals or clinics.

The WORSE vet I have ever been to. All they want is your money. I went there to get my dogs vaccines and fecal test. They told me to come back the next day for medication but failed to tell me the price until I got there and one of them goes “oh thats our most expensive one i dont know why they did not tell you over the phone” how unprofessional. They then went and found an alternative but the alternative was medicine that was given to my dog the day before!! When I told them that they looked confused. If I was naive they could have possibly killed my dog for wrong dosages. Save you and your pet the time and go somewhere else. Providence Vet and Providence Animal center are AMAZING places. Better prices and better care.

I had the most wonderful experience here. They always took great care of my dog. My pet was in distress an I had to make a decision whether to put him down. They were so understanding and so caring to me and my pet. Everything was explained to me and they let me really take my time to make my decision. I can't thank them enough for the attention and care for me and my precious Teddy.

I've only been once but was very impressed with the practice. The veterinarian I met with (whose name I unfortunately did not get) was really great. She took her time with my dog and was super sweet to her. I did not feel pressured to add any additional potential unnecessary products or services and felt my visit was a great value for the service. I will be back for my dog's annual in a few months. Thank you!

This place is a absolute JOKE. Go Anywhere else. Never have written a review. Charged $200 for an X-ray once. $400 the next time. Charged $65 when i said i didn’t want the X ray. Shoulda walked outta there and had them call the cops on me. scumbags

The online appointment process was easy and user friendly. We're VERY new to the area and were quite excited to get in as quickly as we did on short notice on a weekend. Staff and vets were very friendly, very kind and gentle with my big kitty and sent him home with medication for his eye. Pricing is comparable to other vets, and quite fair for the services offered. Very happy overall with the experience.

Dr. Russell deserves no stars. He should be ashamed of himself they way he practices vet medicine!! I took my dog to his practice because he was very, very sick. I was told by Dr. Russell that his labs were normal and a week later he called to tell me that the dog had lymphoma. A vet of at least 30 years in practice couldn't tell that the dog was terminally ill by exam under anesthesia???? and then he proceeded to give this dog 4 vaccines (for which he did not have my permission) and the dog was dead in less than a week. He did not get back to me in the promised time. He would not prescribe my dog a steroid for comfort as he was already having trouble breathing and brushed us off and said we need to go to see an oncologist, but we could not get an appointment until August.Dr. Russell did not care about my dog at all. Everything he did was to jack up the bill. He only cares about $$$$$$$!!!! I called the emergency number 5 times because the dog was dying in front of my eyes and no one answered the phone. Dr. Russell never called to see how my dog was doing, which shows that he TRULY really does not care.Dr. Russell is a fraud!!! He is not a vet, he is a thief!!!! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOU PET TO THIS OFFICE. I am not bitter or angry that my dog died because no one could have helped him with the advanced cancer that he had; however, i am in total bewilderment and disbelief that a trusted member of the community would actually treat kind, loving animal owners in such a poor manner. Maybe Dr. Russell would have treated me a little better had he known i work in healthcare in ONCOLOGY and see lymphoma patients all day, every day. The care was so despicable that I am thinking about consulting an attorney.AND DR. RUSSELL IS A RACIST!!!!!!!

We started using GlenCroft when my daughter started working there as a kennel person. We still take our pets there even though my daughter is grown up and has pets of her own. The medical staff is very knowledgable and caring. They have saved my dogs life a couple of times. The prices are the most reasonable in the area. I feel comfortable boarding my pets there when I go away.I feel comfortable with every aspect of this business and recommend them to anyone with pet needs.

We first met Dr. Russell over 25 years ago. In those years we have had 5 dogs and 1 cat. All who have been treated by the wonderful doctors and staff at Glencroft. Through the excitement of puppies and the pain of saying goodbye to loving pets the entire staff has always been kind and supportive. We would not take our pets any where else!

I came to Glencroft because my pup needed her shots and it was impossible to get into the Vet I was going to. Thankfully, Glencroft has appointments which my Vet did not. Everyone was so nice there. The doctor was so informative and answered all of my questions. I will be continuing to come here from now on.

I bring both my babies to Glencroft Veterinary Hospital and I have really appreciated the care they've given them. When our old cat was dying, they were supportive and very competent. When we lost her, we soon filled the void with a kitten, who was spayed here and Dr. Barrett did a great job. When our dog developed hip dysplasia, Dr. Russell treated him so that he has been able to walk again. The front staff are sweet and caring also. This is definitely a neighborhood gem!

Easy to get appt around your schedule. Quick check-in process. My dog needed a shot and was in, out in less than 2 minutes! Has been my vet for all my animals for last 15+ years. Also has boarding facility. Good place for pet care!

This place is like a Dr. in the country, they know their pet client well and the pet parent. They do not run an assembly line. you quickly feel right home comfortable with them handling your best friend. My Dog was sick for three weeks when i told him he was going to see a Dr., he was excited and ran to the door of my home to get in the car. when we got there there was a very, very, LARGE dog! Sitting in the office. my dog weight is 10 lbs this dog was 100 lbs plus. We checked in i had my dog in a tiny crate and I was not going to let him out, out fear. But the receptionist lead us to another room to wait for the Dr.Out of my 8 years of being a pet parent I never had this happen before at any vet, boy was I grateful and so was Storm my 10 lbs Yorkie. You see most large dog thinks that these toy dogs are play thing for them to shake because their toys are the same size as toy dogs.

The Doctors have many yrs of experience and really know what they are doing. The grooming services are always fabulous. They know exactly what I want my dog to look like when he comes out. We had a Wheaten Terrier and we always want him to have that Terrier cut with the long beard. I have no complaints at all. Now we have a new Airdale Terrier Puppy and he goes to Glencroft too! The 2nd day we brought him home we took him right over there. They made sure he was a healthy dog, and told us what to expect with this breed.
