The very nice woman in the bakery made this cake for my daughter’s birthday. It turned out so well! Was very pleased. I had purchased the cake topper separately and I made the black Mickey fondant pieces to go on the sides because she didn’t have fondant. But it all came together so nicely!

Generally, a good store. People are nice. Selection is good. However, the hand carts are never at the front. I usually have to go find one myself. Also, it seems like there are never enough people working the cash registers. Also, there have been not just once, but multiple times their items have wrong up incorrectly, at a higher price.

I love this Acme everything is easy to find and well organized. The police are very kind and friendly. Man who worked in the seafood department was helpful and helped me save some money. The meat and seafood look very fresh. The store was cleaned and items are well lite on the shelf! This Acme has become my favorite grocery store.

Went to this location to get a few items this morning around 8:15 am and used the men’s restroom while I was there. While in the restroom, I had to deal with an employee splashing water throughout the sink area as he was apparently cleaning his boots with his hands. Most people would dampen a piece of paper towel and use that to wipe their shoes, instead this employee put water on his hands and used his hand to wipe the boots. If he is dealing at all with food that is completely disgusting! On top that the employee splashed water on me. Someone should look into this, the employee could be making people sick.

Nothing "wrong" with the store per se, it's just insanely expensive for most things. I go elsewhere except for a select few items that are unavailable anywhere else or the occasional sale item. Otherwise you'll mortgage your house for a weeks' groceries! So minus 2 stars for being exorbitantly expensive.

I purchased chicken nuggets today , they were awful , overcooked or heated multiple times . They were hard like a rock. I had to trash it as it is.

Found a wallet full of credit cards this morning inside the store and gave it to the cashier at the beer and wine line. She took the wallet and arrogantly responded that someone would pick it up with demeaning manner as if I did something pointless. It is not that I was expecting anything but at least show a little appreciation when a customer being honest instead of treating the customer as a nuisance for taking time to bring the wallet to the cashier. Such a spoiled rude cashier they have .I do not go there often fortunately there is Target nearby with better and friendlier staff in it.

I like this supermarket. The folks who work here are nice, the selection is fairly good, prices are competitive, and it's clean and well maintained. It never seems as crowded as some other supermarkets in the area.

Great selection of cards - like way beyond what you would expect including a large selection of papyrus cards. Good prices and lots of buy one (or two) and get 1 free.Very clean as well and super easy to checkout worth plenty of registers open or self checkout available too.

Aisles are very narrow, staff is unfriendly, no one greeted me and an employee barely passed me in the baking aisle with his cart full of online orders, no excuse me or do you need help, just barreled by without a glance. The store itself is not very unorganized and is dimly lit so kinda sad. Will not revisit unless just need one or two items in an emergency.

Nice seafood selection. Clean establishment, friendly employees and stocked shelves. This Acme is larger than it looks from outside, but I think the isles are a bit small, not much room to get around other shoppers. At first I thought I was going the wrong way down the isle. I had to back up to let another shopper get by. They had plenty of checkout lines open which made it quick to get out.

The staff are nice enough for the most part and the store is pretty clean But the Deli hours Suck. Closing at 6:30 on a weekday is too early

Purchased a pre-made birthday cake. Single layer w/5 cupcakes on top and excitingly decorated. It looked wonderful however, when eaten the taste was awful. Dry, dense w/icing that had no taste other than sugar. I was embarrassed I served it to my friends. Especially to my friend with a special Happy, happy birthday to you!. Very disappointed with quality. Decorations were great and thus the 3 star rating for their innovative Decoration.

Absolutely awful when you go to the store and attempt to check out just before 8 pm and there are ZERO cashiers working. After you get done work the last thing you want to do is do someone else’s job for free. The next time this happens I will leave the cart for someone to put it all away. Never again.

They are overpriced and usually only one cashier open with a long line. Also long line at self checkout. I understand about staff shortages however I usually shop elsewhere and never have to wait and always have more than enough cashiersI only went to the Acme because it was a short shopping trip I plan not to return as this was not my first experience

Aesethically, this store is actually very nice; the aisles are spacious, its well lit, and the store is very clean.Most of the cashiers here are not the best. They're not all bad, but, more often than not, the cashier you get is less than pleasant.

I just want to thank Acme for carrying Grillo’s Pickles! They are the most delicious pickles we’ve ever had—Crunchy, not too salty, fresh, and delicious! We paired them with grilled pork ribs, burgers, and sausage sandwiches. An absolutely amazing product! Highly recommended!

The store is generally well stocked. I found exactly what I was looking for and one item was on deep discount so I was able to stock up. The Sav-On pharmacy in the store is well run and the staff knowledgeable and helpful.

The layout of this Acme is great. I shop a lot for work, I have been to more Acme's than I can count between Delaware and Pennsylvania, this one has had the best customer service. When the line was a little long another line opened up, employees knew where products were located. Great job.

Everything is priced 60% higher than the acme in boothwyn, a couple miles away. The store layout makes little sense as far as aisle flow making it very difficult to find anything.

Are usual goto grocery store with it being close, convenient and well stocked with fresh fruits, vegetables and a great bakery we have used for birthdays and other family celebrations. They also now have carry out beer and wine competively priced and usually cheaper then the state stores.Updated 2022/02/09For the past few weeks, Acme has been renovating the produce/bakery section with more coolers with a larger variety of produce and bakery items. Today I glanced down the specialty aisle which is now be renovated. Excited to see the improvements and new items that will be stocked.Updated 2022/04/20The renovations are complete with a very large section now for fruit, vegetables and organics. The speciality aisle is now an even larger variety of wine and beer. Nice job Acme!

Everything is much more expensive here than it is at some of the other grocery stores in the area. Quality isn't as good either. You might as well go to Wegmans down the road instead where prices, quality, and parking is better! I'm giving three starts still because if I give it any lower I might be kicked out of Delco.

Stood at the deli counter with nobody else in line for 5 min to have nobody acknowledge me when both of the employees turned around, saw me and made eye contact then turned back around to slice cheese. I waited a few more minutes and said excuse me...one turned around with the meanest look like I had just ruined her day. I had one question. Where the 5 dollar subs were? She said she doesnt have them yet and she wont be getting them for about another hour. Its 1245 in the afternoon and they have nothing for an essential employee to get for lunch besides cold soup chips and a soda. Thanks acme...what are they going to make the subs for the dinner rush? Makes no sense.

I was recently in a jam when another market employee told me of the time needed to make cakes they had on display, they were what I was told to be standard size they make everyday, I think 7” and they were iced to look like cheeseburgers. I went in the morning one day before the cakes were needed and I was told they could not do it because I needed 2 days notice. I pleaded that we based our theme around the cheeseburgers and that if I had been told this I would have ordered a week before. I couldn’t believe the lack of empathy, it was a flat out no can do. Then.... the girl said well you can stop in tomorrow, there might be cheeseburger cakes because we decorate every morning for the case!!??So I went to the Acme bakery and asked them if they had any such cakes, the girl said no, but show me a picture of what you are thinking of. She was so excited to make these cheeseburger cakes because it was a new challenge for her. The next morning she had one ready to show me just to make sure I liked it before she iced the 2nd one, and wow guess what, this young lady iced the 2nd one within 15 minutes and they were a huge hit at the party!! Acme, you are very lucky to have an employee with such a good work ethic, people skills and talented. Thank you Lenny for saving the day!

This is my go to for groceries. I can find everything easily. They have a good selection and carry my favorites. Pricing is competitive.
