I had gotten my medications from this supermarket. They are very friendly and helpful. The store has a great selection too. We always came here to pick up paczkis for dessert and our other groceries. It's also convenient that they have a gas station in front of them. They also are conveniently located in town in a bustling and diverse shopping center with plenty of great food options to have before or after shopping.

I have been shopping here for years and also use the pharmacy. I think this is a great store. Employees will help you if you can't find an item and the pharmacy is great . The store is clean and usually well stocked.

Nice little store. They were out of a lot of the sale items, but that's expected. The store itself was pretty clean and the cashiers seem friendly enough.

Shame on you Girard Giant Eagle Pharmacy. My husband had a complete knee replacement surgery on a Tuesday. His surgeon called in prescriptions 6 am the day of his procedure. It was outpatient, and I went at 7pm that day to pick them up. I was told the 3 meds were "out of stock ", and wouldn't be available until after 2 pm the next day. One of his scripts was pain medication. I was given a snarky response with NO alternative solution when I expressed disappointment and asked what I was supposed to do. Never once got a phone call, Text or email saying these meds werent available. His first night and the next day were terrible. Nobody should EVER have to go thru a surgery like that without pain medication for the following 24 hours! His dr. called the Girard Pharmacy after we told them what had happened. They expedited the fills and we were able to get him the medication he needed. We will gladly continue to give them our business when needed. We will never ever use Giant Eagle again.

where is the quality control?? I have NEVER seen a supermarket with so much food they tag for clearance & then to just be thrown out...expired food, stale breads, .. . and onto they obviously don't have workers that can read dates for freshness..or. expiration dates... ..so I ask where is the quality control? half the time I just see workers sitting on phones

Been here for decades, but still JAM packed with an excellent selection! As good as Wegmans possibly??? It's certainly slightly cheaper and may have nearly the selection at hand. Thank you Giant Eagle!

NOT A Good EXPERIENCE TODAY. I found chicken gravy on a marked down shelves that wasn't marked down. It was $6.99 each. Didn't buy any. Only had one kind of mashed potatoes, original, no sour cream and chives. At checkout the woman thought our root beer was beer and said we couldn't buy it until she noticed the right markings. The man before us accidentally scanned his head of lettuce again and told the checkout, but she didn't listen. When we got home we noticed we were charged $2.49 for a head of lettuce that we didn't purchase. We bought 7 donuts and we're charged for a dozen. Lastly, the paper bag we were given for our items tore twice before we got it into the car. NOT A Good EXPERIENCE TODAY.

this place has bad fruit. something is wrong with the raspberries and blackberries they have. they have like mold on them and stuff and its just disgusting. ive had this problem quite a few times too.

A decent store. They keep things stocked and there isn't much out there way on the west side so it's nice to have a large store out here since Wegmans is the closest store aside from this Giant Eagle.

This is one of those grocery stores takes advantage of rural Americans buy jacking up the prices for people who are often times elderly and low income. Moved here this year, and I will not be shopping at the store as much as possible. I think it’s disgusting what they charge for things. A gallon of white vinegar is more than a dollar more here than Walmart or big lots. Shame on you Giant Eagle.

They have a huge variety of everything and anything. Everything fresh at your deli. We stayed about 10 mile away from the store, so we had to make a trip. Two registers were open, which they should have more than that. Everyone is opting for self check out, but when I go to the store, I would rather see people be employed and actually work.

Saw a male manager scream at a female employee just doing her job in front of everyone. Completely uncalled for and pathetic. That manager should be fired and she should get his job.

It's a strange environment, far from the family oriented supermarket I remember as a kid. gotten rid of the plastic bags and most cashiers. It was very clean treasure hunt arrangement. The employee's we're nice and polite. But I'll spend the extra gas to drive to the next town just to feel normal.

Very rude talking about other employees so as a customer I heard it. The people moving things around are so sweet and helped me find thing. This giant eagle seems lifeless and employees don’t seem to help the atmosphere.

I mean if you can't drive to Erie or Conneaut and you have to shop here it works. This isn't against this one specifically but Giant Eagle's everywhere are so much more expensive than any other grocery store. It works if you absolutely can't go anywhere else.

Even though it's the day before Thanksgiving all the checkouts were open and the cashier's were fast and friendly. Stalker, Brad was very helpful with items I can no longer reach and is very knowledgeable of where everything is.My cashier, April was very friendly and packed my items fast and without crashing anything.

It was a good day for shopping today. A lot of great items in the bakery. Prices, yeah a little high, but the food is fantastic. Cakes, cookies and the fried fish and the fried chicken is also amazing. Super awesome foods

The only place in Girard I honestly have never had a good experience at.... Employees seem miserable... I was having a medical emergency with my 7 year old and was confused about what the machine said. The pregnant clerk was rude to the point that my kid said ewe to her. This is not an upgrade nor is it more effective! Lower your prices if you're not going to compensate with good service!

Clean and pleasant shopping experience. Even sale items in stock. No raincheck needed. Ordered a unique cake and it turned out perfectly. Fresh and as ordered. Definitely recommend for excellent shopping experience. Overall very good shopping atmosphere. Check out was fast and efficient. I'll be shopping here on a regular basis and I save even more with my Advantage Card.

They sell food ,love the meat department...5 for twenty section is fantastic!!!! They have fax service which I have used many times ,copy machine is cheap...I believe it's a dime for one copy😁very clean,well decorated for the seasons...beautiful Autumn decor! Well done...they are all pleasant and helpful,the restrooms are clean...very well managed in my opinion.
