This used to be a great local store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. But they switched to all but one checkout being self-checkout. It's really lousy, and I definitely try to shop elsewhere as much as I can now for this reason only.

This location is especially small and the layout is very confusing. Not a lot of checkout availability and self checkout is very small. I don’t think they have a good selection because they are so small. The customer service is good but the overall location is lacking due to its size and high prices. The Giant on rt. 100 has a way better selection and better prices.

I shop here weekly and feel pretty fed up at their business practices. Last week, I bought a pack of hotdogs that had expired a few weeks prior. Now at lunch, I happen to notice my spinach dip (just purchased yesterday; today is March 2nd) expires in two days. This happens frequently and I find myself often grabbing a product from the back of a lineup due to the "older" items being displayed first.

Used Amazon's new feature to buy a few items through their partnership with Weis in Gilbertsville. Order was to be delivered today from 10-12. Order was shown as packed and filled. Received an email stating the delivery was running late and I would be updated at 12:15pm. Recieved no update and order was further canceled by Weis at 240pm with no reason. Since my card was charge immediately, Weis states that I should get the refund back in 3-5 days....This service is terrible. Thankfully nothing I needed was that important. Won't be using this again.

Weis always has the freshest meats, vegetables, and fruits. The store is always clean. Hate all of the self checkouts!!!!I like actual cashiers.

I bought a cooked chicken that went bad in 2 days. I won't buy another one. Other than that, prices seem a little higher than competitors, but their shelves are always stocked. Positive for Weis.

I love this weis...although I gave it 4 stars for one reason. It always smells like fish! I dont like fish and the whole left hand side of the store always smells of fish. Aside from that, it's always clean, it has friendly staff, and the shelves are always stocked.

I'm getting tired of their bait and switch scams. They advertise porterhouse steaks on sale for three days. I go to the store on the first day of the sale,and there's no porterhouse steaks. I asked where's the beef,and their lame excuse was the butcher want home early.This past Friday I want to the store for their three day lobster sale. I was told on the first day that they were out of stock.I'm done with this store and their dishonest bait and switch practices!

Ended up here actually by accident the other evening, but it turned out to be a happy one! Really excellent store! Good selection, clean aisles, friendly staff, reasonable prices. It's not as close as my usual grocery store, but I think it's probably worth the trip.

I have been going to Weis for 30 yrs but I'm done! They have the worst self checkout machines ever! And only 1 cashier open and he's 4 deep from people who don't want to use the stupid machine!

This has become my go to grocery store. It's never overly busy like some of the other stores in the area. The prices are fair and the shelves are full, neat, and organized. Always find what we need and can get in and out of the store quickly.

I've been shopping here for many years. My only complaint is that the produce, like lettuce, celery, carrots, etc.are not as fresh as they should be a lot of the time.The meat is very nice and mostly fresh.The Swift pork is very good.

Some of the young kids don't seem to want to be bothered but others are very helpful. I had a problem with an older man in the deli not using proper glove changing. Will no longer purchase deli meat at this location.

Staff is very rude! I was trying to pay my veggies with my WIC card. The manager came and was not communicating with me at all. Ended up having to pay everything and not even being able to use my WIC!! Don't accept payment methods if your staff can't handle them! Very sad experience, will not go shopping there anytime soon again!

Weis is a very competitive supermarket in the area. This Gilbertsville Weis isn't as big as some but has a pretty wide selection of fruits, meats, produce, lunchmeats, snacks, frozen goods etc. Might not have high end specialty items but all of your family staples are here. Friendly staff. Never too crowded or busy. Good prices and a good neighborhood market

Ok I guess I only stop their for dressing an Amazon return. Now that was a pain that machine would not read the bar code. So Amazon expects me to run home an get on line for the information an run back to that machine . An spend gas 8 miles to an from. They are nuts!!!!
