Called trying to be extremely nice, explained the situation about my prescription. Pharmacist told me it’s “not my fault you lost your prescription” and I explained “this is why I want to transfer locations” and he said “go ahead do it” argumentative staff to nice people. Pharmacist refused to give me his name until he finally said it was “George” whether that’s true or not. Better training is needed at this location. I let the pharmacist know that’s highly inappropriate for him to speak to me that way considering I was nice the whole call.

This store and its staff have never let me down. Richard the manager is aces and George the Pharmacist is very kind. We all rode out Covid together in a way. I see the store and pharmacy staff here a few days a week. Really glad they hire nice folks. Also Glad to have this place so close to my house.

I just called asking about the wegovey and the woman who I spoke to was extremely rude and judgemental. She is like, "Everyone wants this drug for weight loss and it's supposed to be used for diabetes." I then tried to explain that we wouldn't need this drug if Bill Gates and China weren't buying up all the farmland and poisoning the food supply with their genetically modified food. She then proceeded to talk over me saying, "If you just eat healthy..." I am like, "Ma'am, it's not even about that. Go Google Bill Gates and his new Apeel pesticide he is spraying on the HEALTHY produce and how Bill Gates is genetically modifying chicken by lab growing it." She then hung up on me. People like this should not be working in a pharmacy let alone customer service.Edited to add:Food is only one contributor to weight gain. Other factors include having a hormone imbalance such as a thyroid condition, being deficient in vitamins, and being on mental health medication. People need to understand this and not be so judgmental when people are trying to get healthy.

I give 5 stars to the Pharmacists and staff at this CVS; they are incredible people, competent and friendly but are terribly under-staffed and expected to do miracles with nothing. CVS Company should be ashamed of themselves...these workers desperately need help and are being made to to the work of two or three people. That's how mistakes are made, and when that happens, it's the workers who will be blamed. It's not fair. These people deserve better than this. I hope they know that they're appreciated by the public.

Maggie and Donna in the pharmacy do an amazing job in the pharmacy. As those of us that use this CVS, know they are extremely understaffed, yet still carry out their jobs as effectively as possible. Remember, what they do is instrumental for our health, and with basically no staff and customers with no patience, phone ringing, and constant stress, they cannot afford to make ONE mistake. Take time to think before leaving an idiotic comment. Most people can understand their difficulties. Unfortunately only whiners jump on to leave a nasty review. There are hundreds that do understand but do not leave feedback.

Dropped off two prescriptions at approximately 5:15pm. It is currently 5:51pm, and we are still waiting. The pharmacist treats the customers with open disdain. Perhaps HR needs to have him attend some kind of sensitivity training. People getting prescriptions are already having less than the perfect time, and do not need his poor treatment. The rest of the CVS location here is pretty standard otherwise.Edit: More recent visits have been less unbearable, plus one star, now mediocre.Edit: Apparently the person who was not getting along with customers is no longer there. Plus 2 stars.Edit: The service here at the pharmacy has improved to "good". Even though it took an hour to fill 2 prescriptions earlier this week, there was no harassment, an hour is a bit long, when you're given an estimate of 30 minutes.Edit 2021.06.19: Service at the pharmacy has improved dramatically over the intervening 2 years. Prescriptions have been filled quickly, and the pharmacists are all helpful and pleasant.

The pharmacy is horrible. No one seems to know what’s going on or what they are doing. The hours are dumb. It takes for ever to get anyone on the phone minimum of 20-25 minutes on hold. Not to mention the CVS prompt system is annoying that I literally have to yell pharmacy 25 times to get finally get transferred. All it wants to talk about is the Covid vaccine. I just want to speak to a human.Get your act together Gilbertsville.

I feel really bad for the pharmacists and technicians in this location. They are clearly dangerously understaffed, with pharmacists that are stressed, overworked and overwhelmed. It’s gotten so bad that we don’t feel safe having prescriptions filled here anymore. It’s so hectic and unorganized with long lines and constant new employees, seems it’s just a matter of time before they’re in the news for making a fatal mistake. Shame on you CVS for abusing your pharmacists like this.

Business fails to answer the phone in regards toprescriptions. When the business does answer theyhang up. I have been on hold for over 45 min just torefill a prescription, 2/3/22. I have tried utilizing theironline system which never works because when Igo in to pick up the medication that's ready theynever have it ready. I understand that somebusinesses are short handed but seriously thissimple process should not be so difficult especiallyid the medication was approved from the doctor. Now I have to drive to the store and most likelyhave to wait another 45 min just to get get 1prescription.

This is the worst pharmacy around! I have problems every month trying to refill my prescriptions. The pharmacy techs either can never find it in the system or give me the wrong information. It is such a hassle I cannot wait to switch pharmacies when my prescriptions are up and ready to be refilled in September. It is an absolute disgrace no one seems to know what they're doing here.

The pharmacy hours are short because they don't have enough staff. Thanks to these hours I can't get my prescription before or after work, and now shipping my prescriptions isn't free. You've made shopping here as fun as visiting the DMV.

Since covid hit, this pharmacy has been terrible. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt with covid but it has continued even to this day. Their customer service is terrible and the pharmacy techs have no people skills or etiquette. I had to have my insurance company call them to get straight answers from the pharmacist directly. I will not be using this pharmacy anymore for my monthly prescriptions. Always a line, whether inside store or drive thru line and never refilled in a timely manner.

Love scheduling a test with a closed drive thru, and without being given any type of heads up. No point in asking for help either when they'll just tell you to figure it out yourself. This isn't a pharmacy, at this point its just a convenience store when you want munchies.

They never have my prescription when it is supposed to be ready. The automated system will tell you a prescription will be ready at a certain time and when you go to pick it up it's either not ready or not even in stock. The one reviews don't lie, this place is bad top to bottom. Transferring my prescriptions somewhere else even if it cost me more money.

Don’t waste your time! I tried calling in the morning and I gave up after 30 minutes. I went to the store and found out why. The phone system is announcing “4 pharmacy calls” and absolutely no one is making any effort at all to answer the phone.I used to be a tech at this store and the store in Boyertown and seeing what CVS has become is absolutely an embarrassment.I would strongly recommend going somewhere else, however if you do choose to go to this store, please be kind. The techs are under paid and overworked and not given the tools to do a better job by corporate. This is a systemic CVS issue that needs to be addressed. Until then go to Walgreens.

This is my typical pharmacy and for the most part they do a great job. I feel like sometimes the pharmacist can be dismissive and not friendly at all. They are always busy so I get it but it gets old when it's been years of the same pharmacist being rude and not really caring.

I just moved to the area and have always used CVS and my primary pharmacy. I have 3 kids with disabilities who all require daily medication. Recently I haven't gotten my texts for my children's automatic refills. When I order a medication for refill, they haven't been ready on time. Last night, I went to pick up my daughters epilepsy medication that should of been automatically refilled and wasn't. So I ordered it in the morning to be picked up at 4 pm. Since the medications haven't been ready in time, I went a little after 6 to pick them up. She had NO medication for last night or this morning. Without her meds, she will have a seizure. When I got there, the pharmacy was closed and I was told that their hours had changed. Online, the hours still state 9 pm. On the automated system the hours still state 9 pm. Now, I have to run around scared that my daughter will not have her medication and start seizing. The fact that you were ok putting families like this at risk, when you can see that they are out of meds, when you aren't filling them as you should, and then you close early and tell no one is morally and medically wrong on so many levels. You put my daughter at risk and no one at your store cared. Thank God for the poor pharmacist at the Pottstown CVS who took the wrath of all your customers and did the best she could do to fix the mess you made and calm down very upset person you ended up sending her way. Without her filling my daughters meds last minute, we would of been in the hospital. So the least you guys could do, is call that pharmacist and thank her for the verbal beatings she got last night and fixing all the problems you left her with. I will be changing pharmacies since I can never risk my child's health because you weren't able to do your job or at least COMMUNICATE with your patients that they had to get their medications earlier. I'm appalled.

CVS used to be convenient and reliable. Many errors on the app cause confusion of knowing when prescriptions are filled. Calling the pharmacy is not helpful if/when the phone is answered. Most times I'm stuck waiting in a line for a prescription, only to get to the front and it not be ready.

I went to the store to pick up one refill and one new Rx. The Pharmacy staff was rude and dismissive. The two women working in the pharmacy on June 15, 2016 at 9:12 am both behaved as if I was bothering them. They need a basic course in good customer service. The head pharmacist on duty set the tone and allowed the annoyed voices, impatient behavior, and short, aggressive responses. No one there truly wants to help you. At best, they want to fill the RX, take your payment, and send you on out the door with as little interaction as possible. In a very pleasant voice I said, "Have a nice day, ladies" and no one even responded to me. I left the store feeling ignored, insignificant, and belittled. Go to CVS in Pennsburg instead. Kind, patient people there. If that is too far, go to Walgreens in Limerick. They understand good customer service. Switching all of my RXs out of this store immediately. I intend to contact the CVS corporate office because the lack of professionalism at the Gilbertsville location on Swamp Pike is unacceptable. This is unfortunate for the front end store staff. I have always found the front end to be very welcoming and responsive.

These people at the pharmacy need to learn to do their job. Not asking a customer if they have insurance and just ringing them up at full price is robbery. We have been going here for years but we wont be back. They dont care anymore and always act like your inconveniencing them. They need to clean house at this place.

This store has been struggling for months. Lines are long, inventory is low, prescriptions can’t be filled, drive through is closed, and the staff has become very grumpy…. I will likely have to change to my family to a different pharmacy.

They make Chick-fil-A customer service look like Popeyes, in comparison. This place is hands down the most professional CVS I have ever been to. Well played.

The awesome lady in the pharmacy who helped me save over $100 on my diabetic medicine. I have been taking this medicine since October and no one told me about using a coupon until now.

I always get great customer service here. Especially today. Ryan greeted me as I walked in the store and asked if I needed anything. Wasn’t rehearsed just natural. Happy to being my business here.

Stay away!!!!!!!! Unless you like long lines, wasted trips and time! The short staff they have working there are overwhelmed and some do not seem to know what they are doing. They should just close until they can get thier stuff together. It's that bad!

Awful. May be time to find a new pharmacy. Expect a 30 minute wait each visit. Even when you ask to have it delivered, it never comes when promised.

They closed the pharmacy before 6pm. My husband arrived there at 5:50 coming straight from his job, to a closed pharmacy window. Was told they left early. So unprofessional! We are changing pharmacies.
