Only reason I give three stars is cause the doggie stuff I got for my pup dry nose works wonders on him amazing this stuff is the best. Other then that it's not as friendly as this place used to be.their is plenty of parking and it isn't as clean but I do recommend this product and most of their products are good just staffing needs work honestly.

I am just so beyond pleased with Petco in Gibsonia. Carli, my huskies stylist, couldn’t have been more amazing. I mean, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on SOMEONE to just DO what I am asking them to do. I don’t know if it’s a thing, but no groomer would shear my husky the way I know he needs done. He molts twice a year, and for him, it’s the most miserable ever. He is uncomfortable, hot, and miserable, and not himself. She made him shed 30 plus pounds and made him smell amazing and feel even better. Thank you Carli, and Gibsonia Petco for being the best grooming around.

OK. we have a small dog so we do not buy much product, however when we need supplies I always stop at the Gibsonia, PA. PETCO. There's a young lady that works at the store that is always so helpful and upbeat that it is a very good experience. The way she cheerfully helps older patrons like myself is the reason. I will get her name the next time.

My experience at Petco was exquisite. The workers there are fantastic and they help out with all my pet needs. I recently purchased Honest Kitchen for my kitten and he loved it. I will absolutely be back and purchase more for him. (P.S. the experience was intriguing for me and the employees are amazing!)

I went to Petco today not knowing what to look for since my dogs diet needed to be changed. I gave Danielle some information about what was going on with my senior dog and she helped me find the best food for him. Since I switched his food to 'Honest Kitchen' my boy hasn't been as itchy and seems to be feeling much better. Danielle was very helpful and informative, I'm so glad she was there to help me that day.

This store has wonderful staff that helps out whenever you need things. Nicola is an amazing, outgoing person. I recently purchased a Guinea Pig and she helped me with the various items for him. She gave me tons of information on how to care for him. If you need any sort of help or if you have a question on anything, go to her. The store is in immaculate condition.

I'm from out of state, and I went here to get a booster shot for my pup at the vetco vaccine clinic they have. All the employees were very nice here, the vet and the assistants also very kind. They're not a full service vet, just FYI. The vaccine clinic is towards the back near the cat food. Lots of different pet products to choose from. They also have fish and fish supplies.

I recently went to petco to shop for my cat and I got him Stella and Chewy. Which, in fact, was recommended by the staff. I absolutely loved the workers and the food for my cat, he even seemed to enjoy it also. They obviously care for our pets and I’ll make sure to go back.

Well first of all the cranberry pennsylvania petco the one that's closing we went to visit it over the last weekend and it was an awful experience but the Gibsonia pennsylvania petco was so wonderful excellent staff knowledgeable team members nice variety.

Out of 4 Guinea pigs and 2 hamsters my family bought here only 2 Guinea pigs were still alive 4 weeks after we bought them. My dad recently brought one back after it died with my sister and they told them “well you shouldn’t have held it the first week( completely false and they never mentioned at purchase)”and “this happens all the time.” Beyond disgusted they would say that to a child who took extremely good care of her. The Fox Chapel Petco was horrified when we told them, gave us names of places for the future if our guineas are sick, and even kiss all their Guinea pigs goodbye because they love them so much. I would highly recommend going to that location cause they actually care about the pets, instead of money and being blaming children for their pet’s death.

Great service! Even though I entered the store close to closing time, both store associates were extremely helpful. She walked with me directly to the pet food I desired. The check out was efficient and quick. He even re-registered me for Pals rewards.

Website booking is horrible. Book an appointment and took a day off. Confirmed Appointment. Only to get to the waterworks location and find out the groomers was closed. their groomers are in training. Manager was super nice and it was clear it was beyond her control. I book another appointment in Gibsonia, which is an additional 20 minutes. Groomers were nice, but was charge $30 dollars more the normal. I didn't say anything thinking it was an user error on my part. But i found that the system change my size of dog to XL. my dog history has alway been a large breed. olde english bulldog. I have always paid the same price. I understand things go up, but from $50 to $80. for a bath and nail buff. Its not worth the hassle.

The entire online purchase including the price and discount was overall a great experience. The only thing that could have been done better would be to have an employee up front at or near the registers so when you come to pick up the order you don't have to walk through the entire store to find someone to help you. If cost is an issue maybe lockers like Home Depot uses would be a good idea. Finally I think there should be more verification when picking up the online order. I was told in the email to bring photo ID however I was never asked to verify my identity when picking up the order that was already paid for. Anyone could have said they were me and taken my PAID purchase.

The only minor inconvenience I experienced was the lack of two separate products being in stock that I was looking for, otherwise it would have been a true 5 star experience!

I was in town for the holidays and had an unfortunate situation when my dog got fleas for the first time. Never having to deal with this I was not sure what to do. I called the local Petco at Northtowne Square for help and I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and their interactions with me. They are not only knowledgeable but are passionate for their clients' pets. They realized I was a bit desperate to help my dog. Wren had an amazing amount of knowledge on fleas and gave me 3-4 different things that I could do immediately to help my dog and prevent the fleas from spreading in the house. Tiffany was an amazing groomer. She listened to my concerns and requests perfectly. She reassured me about the treatment of fleas and what she would be doing when she worked with my dog. She fully groomed him in an hour and a half and he looked stunning. His skin wasn't as irritated when she was done and he actually was no longer scratching. She made me feel very comfortable leaving them with her, which its generally hard for me to leave him anywhere! So thankful for them! I would take my dog back there any time.

Bought two guinea piggies for my daughter one passed on the first night and the other a few days later. No symptoms or any issues, took the little sweet heart back to the store so they could send it to the vet and they said "it happens" and sent it back home with us. Gave 3 stars ONLY because the staff is amazing but the animals they have are not well. Sorry Petco but you need to do better.

"We do NOT permit leash-to-leash in THIS store." The eavesdropping Petco employee chastised me for asking another pet owner if her dog wanted to meet.She probably meant "nose-to-nose" but many pet owners come to a pet store to both pick up supplies and give our pets a chance to socialize.I was not greeted nor offered assistance by any employee at any time in the store.Afterwards at the Home Depot across the street my dog was greeted by 5 staff, given treats by 3, and was invited to meet another dog (nose-to-nose).

This Petco location had the products that I needed in stock on the shelves. The prices in the store were significantly higher than what they were on Petco’s website, but I appreciate that I was able to buy what I needed. I would recommend opening another checkout line when the line of customers is long.

The products that I am looking to obtain are available and easy to fine. The staff is always courteous and helpful. They meet and greet in a very friendly manner. They are available to answer any questions that I have. They even ask about my pets by name since they have met them from prior visits.
