This location has some of the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever encountered in a Lowe's before - plus - if you're an early bird like me, they open as early as 6 AM so you can start or finish your projects bright and early and have the rest of the day to enjoy them! We had excellent service at the Gibsonia, Pa. Lowe's. Plans were to purchase outdoor ceiling fans/lights, outdoor flood lights, outdoor light fixtures and light bulbs. Josh & Dave were wonderful in assisting us find all our products & were so helpful explaining new improvements made in lighting. They never left our side and made sure we were satisfied with our purchases...also so polite and respectful. Just a pleasure to deal with. THANKS JOSH & DAVE!

I had a very good experience in my purchase of a toilet. Adam Wygant from the Appliance dept was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a pleasure interacting with him. Also, Megan Bujalski at the customer service desk was very professional and understanding when I called to cancel the order. However, the reason for cancellation was due to the unprofessionalism of the installer. I will continue to purchase items from Lowe's, but will not use their installers.

I guess mediocre service is the norm these days. Went with my son to buy a tool chest and had to ask three times for assistance. After waiting for the last person we talked to to return, we gave it about 15 minutes and left the store.

They allow dogs in the store. Seems innocuous enough, everyone loves a friendly pup right? Some dude had to pull his pitbull back from sniffing at me at my last visit. In the 20 mins I was there, I had two unwanted dog encounters. I am an adult and felt uncomfortable. No way am I bringing my kids here to interact with random dogs⦠nor will I return.

I normally have horrible experiences at Loweās. Today this changed. I needed help and usually employees donāt know anything I have asked in the past. An Employee named Kathleen Moran came to the rescue. She not only knew where everything I needed was, she also informed me about some other things. This had me make extra purchases. I am a business owner myself and would be honored to find an employee as helpful as Kathleen was. She redeemed My thoughts on Loweās, and I will now be using them again for our business on the regular especially when I am in the Gibsonia area.

We actually had one of those "helpful knowledgeable employee saves the day" moments you see on commercials. We were stumped with part of a project and the first employee we asked for help couldn't think of a way to fix it either. He then took it upon himself to look for a coworker, explained the situation, and she was able to suggest an outside the box solution. Much appreciated! We were also asked several times during our visit by different employees if we were finding everything OK.

Hi all, so fyi if you have any sort of a speech impediment such as a stutter, regardless of how mild it may be, donāt go to this Loweās in Richland Twp. Expect to get laughed at like this is the 1800s and society is ignorant to differences among people. I made the mistake of walking into THIS Lowes to find a Dehumidifier and at the front, as I walked in was a silver haired older woman who greeted me and asked if she could assist me. Now, Iāve been under some stress as of late (just bought a house! Yay!) and due to that my normally mild/nonexistent stutter was a little more obvious then normal, when I stammered getting the word Dehumidifier out the woman absolutely bust out laughing like as if I was bugs bunny telling a joke. Ahem⦠I think I reacted with shock and horror and just walked away. Again, this is 2023, itās dĆ©classĆ© to make fun of someoneās unique attribute. And yes I consider laughing in my face at my stammer being made fun of. Iām 43, Iām a medical professional, Iāll get damned if I let anyone think thatās ok. Expect an email to corporate. Imagine if a Loweās employee laughed at a customer who was hard of hearing, blind or in a wheelchair. Letās join the modern era shall we. Ergo, I donāt plan to go back to that Lowes again.

Went to Lowe's today and they had NO human cashier's, I had to use the self checkout and having a commercial account I left my credit card at home. I needed help looking it up and the cashier told me that couldn't be done on the self checkouts so I said you need to open a checkout lane so I could pay for the $500 + dollars in materials I needed for a job, he called the manager who also tried to look my commercial acct. Up on the self checkout lane but couldn't do they then had me take my supplies to another lane where a female cashier checked me out where we had to re-scan everything... Ugh! And in doing so she ended up scanning several items twice so she had to refund several items after payment was taken off my credit card.Bad moment 1. No human checkout cashiers on a SundayBad moment 2. Not being able to look up my commercial account credit card on the only lanes openBad moment 3. Being double charged for several items.Bad moment 4. Waiting on hold for an hour and ten min. Trying to get a hold of someone at the corporate office.Won't be shopping at this location ever again... Not to mention because of this will be cancelling my commercial account with Lowe's and giving more business to Home Depot.

Purchased a dishwasher that was to be delivered and installed. Installers never showed up or called me during the window of time of delivery - in fact they never called for over 2 hours after the scheduled time. When I brought this to Lowe's attention and asked for accommodations and compensation for their failure, they flat our refused. Finally I had to use my own plumber for the installation. Incredibly, again when the dishwasher was delivered, they failed to show or even bother to call until over 2 hours after our delivery window. Shout out to Petrack Plumbing who were prompt, courteous and professional for the installation. Read on if you want all the gory details!!!So we ordered a dishwasher online on Jan 4. Received a text from installer Madden Heating & Cooling on Jan 9 it was scheduled to be installed today Jan 18 between 10 and 2. Stayed home and didn't go to work today. At 4:12 PM, over 2 hours after the latest installation time, I get a voice mail they are running late and could try to get here by 5 or have it installed tomorrow. At 4:35 a woman calls saying they have been trying get ahold of me to reschedule the installation. When I complained about the no show today, she said they emailed me about running late - at 4:24! At no point did she apologize for not showing up today. At no point did she apologize for someone not calling me earlier today. Her only response was that they did contact me to let me know they were running late - only after 4 PM. I requested credit for the installation, but she said now I have to contact Lowe's. Interestingly, other reviews for Madden Heating & Cooling indicate that they have a history over several years of not showing up for scheduled installations despite requiring a window of times of up to 5 hours.I just don't understand. Where is the customer service and consideration??? Did they not realize prior to 4:12 PM that they would not arrive by 2 PM??? Why couldn't they call me and at least let me know??? Why do I have to take my time and effort to fix a situation that is not my fault or doing???Most of all, Lowe's, don't bother with an apology that doesn't compensate me for my wasted time or money. Don't bother telling me to call you to work it out when you have my number and can contact me. But can you help me understand why this treatment of a customer is acceptable??? Especially since Home Depot, Best Buy and other choices for the purchase are available.UPDATEOn the evening of January 18, I called Lowes to get some resolution. The manager was out but I left a message that a person indicated she would forward to them. After 5 days of no callback from the store manager, I called installation support. When I asked for some compensation for my inconvenience since Madden Heating & Cooling did not show up on the installation date nor let me know they were not coming, he refused. He indicated Lowe's policy is to only consider any compensation for poor customer experience after the transaction was completed. So he wanted me to take delivery, installation and only then might they consider any compensation. If I did not like that, he suggested I drive back to the store and work it out. Finally, I agreed to take delivery and cancel the installation.Delivery was to be between 11 & 3 on Jan 25. By 3 PM no delivery and no call about the status. Only close to 5 PM did I receive a call that they would deliver in about 10 minutes. Did they not realize prior to almost 5 PM they would not make it by 3??? So again, wasted my time with another no show no call.When I'm given a window of time, I expect them to be there. Lowe's failed twice. I recognize that "stuff happens" but I expect some consideration and to be notified. Lowe's failed twice. When all this happens, I expect some reasonable understanding for my inconvenience. Lowe's failed and couldn't even be bothered to return my call. I'm sure Lowe's will attempt to blame this on the outside companies they hire, but that's no excuse.Appliances. Prices.

0 stars if possible. Ordered appliances...they never showed up. Calling the store is useless. 12 hours of waiting for these appliances. Installers and electricians waiting as well. No call no show after I verified throughout the day and was guaranteed that they would be there. Now they are saying they can't guarantee they can deliver tomorrow because I am not on their schedule. Complete garbage. I absolutely will never deal with these people again. I don't ever write these reviews but I hope I can save someone a huge headache. This is costing me hundreds of dollars by the day, and no one cares. Stay away from this place.Update...more phone calls today and they are refusing to make the delivery today. I have installers and electricians waiting around to finish the home. What a joke.Final update...3rd day of phone calls and showing up at the store. My appliances were still sitting in the back and the delivery company refused to come back to get them and deliver them like promised. 3 days in a row no call no show. Thanks to the manager Rob, we worked it out. He gave me a rental truck and loaded the appliances. I brought them to the house myself and put them in. Lowe's is not the issue apparently, but they no longer do their own deliveries. They contract the work out. The company that does it is unprofessional and ignorant. I don't want these people in my home. Things were much better when they kept the delivery in house. This company representing Lowe's makes them look like trash.

Everything was okay until the associate asked if i needed help and continued after i explained my project, in a condescending, rude tone. Essentially he told me to go on amazon. so because of that one associateās attitude iāll go to home depot or order online from now on. People like him shouldnāt be working with the public.[UPDATE]: Store experience on 1/6/23If i could leave an even lower rating that I did last time, I would. Finally decided to give Lowes a shot again since I only needed a couple simple things. I had two boards in one arm and a basket with three smaller things in the other, not struggling in anyway. I went into the self checkout where once I got to the kiosk the associate immediately came over and started touching the items I was purchases and even started scanning them. I thought this was a SELF checkout? He then took two of the items saying āI need to check something real quickāover to his station and told me I can proceed to pay, which I did. He returns with the items and says āyouāre goodā and as I put those items in the bag he then says ācan I see your bag? I thought i heard something.ā At this point Iām quite annoyed but comply since I know I did nothing wrong and he takes my bag and weighs it or whatever they do and brought it back and handed it to me. Who hired Paul Blart as the self-checkout associate? I felt like I was treated like a criminal possibly even discriminated against in some way. Whatās the point of the self checkout if you arenāt going to trust us to do it. I almost wanted to walk right back in and return the stuff I just purchased after that.

Lowe's always has what I go in for!This time I was there to purchase flowers š to plant in my planter boxes!They had exactly šÆ what I wanted, along with the exact color that I needed!You can not go wrong with Lowe's!Friendly employee's that take you to the exact spot for what you are looking for! So far, I have visited this location of Loweās Home Improvement a couple of times. Today, I returned incorrect merchandise that I had previously purchased, I picked up a new online order, and I bought more merchandise in the store. Two cashiers served me courteously and promptly. They gave me a refund for my returned merchandise, and they processed my online order in less than one hour and brought it out to me as soon as I showed up. I appreciate that this Loweās had merchandise that I desperately needed but that other locations did not have in stock. The prices were fair.

I will never shop at the Gibsonia store again! We have had four disappointing experiences over a period of about 8 years. Last night takes the cake! We were trying to buy a new dishwasher. We know Loweās will match prices but we didnāt know if they would do outlet prices. The salesman said he had to ask. He came back and said they would do it but the manager had to do it.About 45 minutes later and very upset customers the manager was too busy to help us. If he didnāt want to do it just say that. My time is just as important as his. I will never shop at this location again!!!

Purchased a new Whirlpool refrigerator and it quit working 2 months after I bought it,they would not refund me but have had repairman coming out for the third time to try to fix it,but no luck they are coming again to repair it. It has been about 3 months without my refrugerator

Lowe's you lost a customer today for a very long time (on the order of 5 to 10 years) and Home Depot I'm your new customer now.The reason is they forced me to do the self-checkout. What if I make one or more mistakes, do I have to go to jail for shoplifting or will the cops show up and question me? Until you sign me a paper that guarantees me 0 charges in case I make mistake(s) I will not use self-checkout.

I am filling out this positive google review for my mother and father.They just called me on their way home from Loweās and an employee named Ryan in tile was an absolute stress reliever for them!He helped them select their (only bathroom) floor tile and shower tile + grout and a linen cabinet.How fantastic to get it all in one spot and to have such helpful educated staff!They couldnāt race more about Ryan!!

I have been shopping at Lowes for several years at this location since its on the way to the area i do work in, but the one area they have been consistently bad in is in store help loading large materials and helping to load customers materials on the truck. Most staff there is friendly enough, but the staff that might help a customer load materials specializes in hiding in the back. If you want to see how it should be, go to Home Depot in Cranberry.

A really big hardware store :) It takes a few visits to figure out where things are. They carry pretty much everything. I have purchased cement, wood, fittings, tools, paint and more from them. I have always found their staff to be helpful when one can find one. The best time to visit is during the week when the store is almost empty.

I really needed help finding an odd item today. Jared was helping another person so, he briefly acknowledged me as if to say I'll be right with you... After that he took through a few different aisles all the while not making me feel crazy for the project I wanted to do! LolI ended up with exactly what I needed to do the project for my swimming pool! Thank you Jared I hope I find you the next time I'm in Lowe's.

The worst. I asked 3 staff members to help me. They just walked away. Really needed help with the storm damage I had in my home. So I needed rugs cleaning etc. Left. Went to Home Depot. I got about $300 for what I needed . Plus a employee helped me get what I needed and advised me on the products I needed to do the best job. Going back tomorrow with contractor to get what else I need. Never going back to Lowes

The 5 stars are for a associate named Matt. I was looking for a faucet Aerator. I purchased a American Standard faucet and wanted to change the aerator. Unfortunately I cannot buy a standard one. Matt was very patient and really tried to solve my problem . I appreciated his time and effort. Tomorrow I will call American Standard and have to order one (Iāll buy a few) since they should be changed once a year . Hard for me to understand why a company would manufacture something that wonāt take universal parts that need to be replaced frequently. I have been to every home improvement store in the area ... Mattās efforts stood out among them all!

The store near Winter Garden Florida was good.....but the checkout cashier was pretty stupid. I didnt have my card on me and she didnt have a clue how to access my info. She also had to scan the products twice for some unknown reason.
