Goodwill has become a shell of its past self. I am not sure if at the corporate level they have an understanding of where they are in the retail space. It seems as though they are trying to be something they are not. They are trying to emulate TJ Max/Ross/Gabes by their clueless pricing. But because they are selling second hand merchandise they obviously can't be them. They need to understand their place in the world of retail. With is obviously a second hand store moving products efficiently with a low price point. Until they come to grips with who they are, these stores will meander aimlessly without any direction.First of all some products should simply be tossed and not put out for sale. Way too many damaged products and merchandise with missing pieces. If you are going to sell this stuff have a discounted area for it.The main issue from not just me but from speaking to other people is the pricing on products. This is where Goodwill has really failed miserably. Whether the blame is the workers, management or at the corporate level I don't really know. Selling used products from the dollar store for 2.99 seems a bit shady. More frustrating, seeing an old price from the the original retailer on a product and then pricing the product above that. You can see in a picture posted of confetti poppers from another store priced at 3.97 and Goodwill marking it at 5.99. Atleast cover up the old price so the customers can't see it. Furthermore, many products are priced close to what a new item would be. The fraudulent 99 cent sale or half off Sunday is absolutely no excuse for the mismanagement of pricing to this extent. By addressing this issue, they would have many more satisfied customers. But it would also move product quicker through the registers and declutter the store at the same time.

was here around 2pm. So clean well organized. Great selection. Very Sweet check out girl. We Purchased a wicker floor lamp in incredible condition for $10 so of course I found the Prices to be very fair.

Goodwill used to be a good store just to go in and look around. But the problem is it that everything is insanely overpriced. And they make it seem like if the tag is a certain color then everything with that tag is 50% off. Then only the clothes are marked down.. Somebody needs to humble and put goodwill in its place. Goodwill needs to find it place in the retail world.

For the items being DONATED. The prices are extremely high. The lowest items is 3.29. and that's for a tiny trinket. I came across several itmes that are cheaper at other stores and brand new.

Now I’m told to take everything off the hanger to save time. So while I deal with my child the cashier watches me take all the hangers off. We’re not saving any time here and your jobs not that hard. Pretty sure you can take the stuff off the hangers.

My experience at Goodwill is usually pretty good. I've been there a couple times over the last couple weeks. A couple things worth noting:Monday is senior discount day. Everyone 55 and older gets I believe 25% off.Tuesday a student and active military day.Students, first responders and military get 25% off.Sunday is when the color tag of the week on clothes goes from 50% off to 99 cents.Make sure you know the price of the item and how many items you have. I've had times where they didn't ring everything up or times when they run an item up twice.Be careful to watch out "special price" items. Sometimes it's not that great of a deal.I found some good stuff and it seems like they're inventory rotates pretty quickly. I always manage to find something that I like.

Very rude cashier. Everyone else is usually really nice. She’s older blonde, Sharon maybe? She literally scolded me in front of everyone for not removing the hangers. Like how was I sipped to know?

I went to the Gibsonia goodwill today, the cashier was an older blonde hair lady who was very rude and mean. I had a couple of tops. The one top I really liked it. I even tried it on. Well when I went to checkout the top didn't have a ticket on it. The lady said you can't have it. It doesn't have a ticket. I have to send it to the back and they will ticket it and put it back on the floor how rude. After I tried it on stood in line then you tell me I can't have it. That is so wrong. They should of had someone come up and do it. I would have waited a couple of minutes. So rude to waste someone's time.

Goodwill is a place to find out of the ordinary items sometimes!This store is clean, and masks 😷 are required!Ample parking, and Handicap ♿ is directly in front of the door!Was there today 5/5. Lots of goodies to choose from for the summer season!New stuff is out for items for a patio to look fantastic 👌!Great prices also!Hurry and get there before all the nice things are gone! Really!!

Prices way too much for used stuff that have wear and tear. I know less Tham one-eighth of the profit goes to charities. Maybe if the some of the executives didn't make over 600,000 a year they could pay the employees more and I wouldn't mind paying more for the used merchandise.

The store was clean and not super busy. They had a large selection of smaller women's clothes, unfortunately, I was looking for size 14-16 jeans and shorts and xxl shirts, which were they did not have a large selection of.The staff was friendly and helpful.

They have a very large selection of clothes for the entire family. Nicely organized in a clean environment. You never know what goodies you will find there. There are always hidden treasures. Not really a big area for furniture but what they had was nice.

I rate this store a 2-3 bc I do buy stuff there occasionally (usually furniture or toys) but lately when shopping for clothes they are stained or have holes.... mainly stained! Not little stains either! The quality of product hitting the floors is definetely down. The store hasn't been very neat either although (looking very dirty) but they were doing pulls today and it looked alittle better.

Was told I Had to wait to drop off 2 small items even though it says self serve. Act like they re doing me a favor taking my donations. The dumpster is alot faster and easier. Not worth the hassle.

Totally agree this Goodwill is very overpriced, and their items are below sub par. I went 4 times and went through the whole entire store every time. It was old kmart brands and damaged housewares. Most was literally 50+ years old, it seems like the only things donated here are from people who passed away. They had 1 decent dress (for $40!) And a few Vera Bradley bags for $15 - $20 each, which is more expensive than any online resale site. And if people are mad that Goodwill makes billions on all free donations, they'd be really mad to know they pay less than minimum wage to many of their disabled employees (as little as .22 cents an hour in Michigan) via a provision "loophole" law enacted in 1938 (not sure if this location does tho), AND they get tens of millions a year in taxpayer money too, via government grants. Then the cashier had the audacity to aggressively pressure both my aunt and I for our change. When I told him no, Goodwill gets tens of millions in taxpayer money via grants already, his response was that if more people donated their change they wouldn't have to do that, and they could keep prices down too. Clearly there is no proof of either and that was highly innapropriate to say. Also, I've never seen their billions in profits actually doing anything in the community, like sponsoring a school event, nor have I ever known anyone who was helped through Goodwill. I was told that if a homeless person comes in for a blanket or coat they literally have to put in for a voucher that takes 2-3 days to approve, and cannot get it on the spot. Bet the people who donated those coats would be appalled to know that. They say their billions goes to "job training", but all businesses have to train their employees, nothing special. And they get more govt grants for hiring people with "employment barriers" in the first place, so that actually financially benefits them. Overall, not a business that I would feel good about supporting, and I would not return to this location due to the overpricing of poor quality of items and aggressive cashier.

I like to look around, but it's rare to find a "good deal". It's much more common to look at an item and wonder how they decided to price it. Overall, It's a nice place, and occasionally you can find a gem.

This store used to be good until it got greedy with its prices. $8 for a USED shirt lol are you kidding now I can get these prices at TJ max for a NEW shirt. Ridiculous, Getting very greedy at this location. Asked the clerk why prices were rising and he said they havnt risen at all, I’ve come here for many years and have seen the greed grow at a very fast pace. No more goodwill shopping for me.

Prices are absolutely ridiculous now since Covid. Cheaper to shop in a regular store. This whole round up thing has to stop as well. This is why people shop here to allegedly support needy people so money is already going towards the support.

You kind of get whatever you can find. There are some really good values, and there are others that are just insanely high prices. For example, a genuine leather coat for $10 is amazing, but a small glass bowl sold by Dollar Tree in a pack of four for $1.00 is sold at GW for $.99 per bowl. Whaaaat?

The prices are too high. Alot of people shop the goodwill because it's all they can afford. I understand that goodwill supplies education to the handicap but your merchandise is donated. I find the workers to be pleasant.

No price tags on most items. Cashier had no idea what correct prices were. She was also the only employee in the entire store during a very busy timeframe. She should not have been left alone.

Theybhave a great selecrion. However they need to research the items a little better before pricing.Quite a few items I have found there were over priced of what a new item costs. Should be much lower.Anyways, overall it's a good store.and recommended

Ok place to shop. Prices are getting perty high for used merchandise. Alot of clutter and disorganized merchandise. If it was orderly I would of scored them higher.

Prices are out of control. All Goodwill store's clothing should be priced the same. I have smelled mold and mildew on items. And clothes with very strong perfume and nasty BO odor.
