I needed to get some ammunition so I decided to try Browning 9mm ammunition where was that a mistake the very first shot was a squib never happened in my life I'm not going to use the bullets I've been reading the reviews other people have been having this problem it messed my gun up don't get these bullets.

I use to buy all my guns from anywhere. The customer service Frank has provided me made me a loyal customer. The man knows his guns. Always giving me updates on the newest items. Let's me examine any gun I want no issue's. He will also give me his opinion on the gun I'm looking to buy and on other firearms as well. He also has a personality as well. The prices are always fair. I will not go anywhere else . Thank you

Longtime customer. Tried to buy a safe during last Sunday/Monday sale. The manager wouldn't honor the sales price displayed on the safe. She said staff had mistakenly put it on the wrong safe. Tried to give me a discount but was $100+ over the sales price. Big mistake to not honor the price you label something with in retail. Not planning on going back.

This is a nice store. It's much bigger inside than it looks from outside. And they jam pack a lot into the store. I'm always surprised they're not busier. This place is so easy to shop at.

Not a fan at all. They never have the best items like other stores. I wish the one on McCANDLESS would go out of business to put something decent thereI hardly see customers there.

I needed to send back a revolver to the manufacture for repair. The customer service representative in firearms and manager went out of their way to accommodate my needs and did all of the needed paperwork and shipping. Thank You !!!!! *****

We waited for over 30 minutes to look at a gun. We made our intention known that we were wanting to purchase a gun, we had our coupons in hand too. Another employee was called to help but never showed up. By the time we were able to see the gun we were interested in gun sales stopped for the evening. Another group at the gun counter had one employee tied up the entire talking about non store things. The gun we were interested in is on a sale ending today. So now we will also not get the sale price. The employee really seemed uninterested in helping us and the employee that didn't show up was even more disheartening. Dunhams missed out on a sale and probably a customer tonight. Very disappointed.

Hard to find anyone that works here, but like the store, but this was some time ago. I went again on 5/27/18, & they seemed to have solved this. Someone offers help within 10min of being there. Also, I like there hometown charm, and cheap prices. I always but my firearms here. Glad to see it straightened itself out, and so choose it over Dicks Sporting Goods!

Frank in firearms is amazing and insanely helpful. Store was also nicer than every other dunhams I’ve been to around Pittsburgh.I will be back again worth the drive from downtown!

It is hit & miss at this store. Some employees would rather ignore you than help. Jared was a shining star. Most helpful and was genuinely concerned about answering questions. He should hold a training class for the rest of the employees. In regards to the firearms dept. there is a guy there that would rather talk to people and show off his knowledge and ignore you when trying to do business.

I was in sporting goods and asked a question about about what I wanted to buy. This was around 6 pm Sunday evening. The employee had an attitude that he could care less. No hello, no how can I help you. He just kept on working on straightening out stock.He did get me a cart for a heavy item. But he had no enthusiasm what so ever. He could careless.

They have a good selection but the prices can be a bit high. Usually there is always a coupon if you get their emails(which is free to sign up so I would be sure to join their email list now so when u go your already getting emails) they have been awesome when dealing with problems or returns so customer service at the gibsonia store is hands down awesome!

If I could rate 0 stars I would!!! Being a girl, I don't know much about hunting. So I went to Dunham's and, shame on me, thought they would be helpful in deciding what gun would be best for hunting buck my first time. I asked Mike, back in the gun section what his recommendations were for shooting clay pigeons for practice and hunting, and he recommended a Ruger .22 caliber. So I thought he knew what he was talking about. $420 later I took my purchase home and was told that you can't hunt buck with a .22 and that it would basically be good for target practice (not clay pigeons being shot into the air) and small game. About 20 minutes after I made my purchase (the gun wasn't even taken out of the box) we immediately returned to the store to exchange for something I could hunt with. We told the woman at the front as well as the manager that I was told wrong information and that I was told I could hunt buck with the .22 and we just wanted to exchange it for something more powerful. They refused, despite me just being there 20 minutes ago. When Mike was confronted regarding what he had told me, he lied and said that he NEVER told me anything like that!!! I will never shop here for anything again!! I can't support a business who employs unethical selling practices and liars just to"get a sale"!! I was truly taken advantage of and feel that they should have someone in the gun section who actually knows SOMETHING about guns!!

The staff could benefit from better people skills. Everyone is a potential customer unless you seem like you'd rather ignore them. Took my business to the Butler store and bought a kayak and accessories.

If you're a short, skinny guy, this is the place for you! However, this store & most like it do not cater to guys like me (6' 5" 300lbs.) Also, if you would like to find half of what you are looking for, this is your place! They had boat seat swivels...but no boat seats! They had a fuel tank for an outboard boat motor...but no fuel line to connect it! Overall, it's a nice, clean store, and the employees treated me well. But, their inventory is always lacking in departments that interest me.

Didn't have the size shoe I needed and wouldn't see if any other stores had the correct size because someone would have had to go pick it up (store manager etc) but....we could wait for it to come in on next weeks truck. Then when I asked if I could do that (i didn't mind waiting) I was told " No because there's no guarantee it will come! WTF Customer Service is horrible

They run there special sales on anything that doesn't have a red tag on it but most everything in the store has a red tag an it.. And there red tag price in the store are the same as other stores regular price. So you decide.

I really like this place good service but I wish they had more ammo for my pellet gun we went 3 times the same week and they didn’t have the size I needed but it’s a great place

They were great! It was Thanksgiving and an item they were offering I needed as a gift. I went to another that was sold out before it began. I called this store. And they held the item until we got there. They were very helpful.

This store is extremely well stocked. It has stuff for every sport as well as camping and shooting gear. My only negative experience was that I had trouble finding an associate on the floor.

Never fails. On the very rare occasion I think to go into Dunham's for something, I am reminded why I usually skip this place. I can never find what I am looking for, nor can I ever find anyone who even works there. Maybe I should give an extra star for consistency, because it is forever disappointing.
