We have been taking our dogs to Claws N Paws for well over 10 years now and never a problem. Our girl is always clean, smells good and is cut they way we want her to be cut. We trust Marcello with our pets. He is a kind young man and loves dogs and cats. Does a great trim. The shop smells good and is clean.

I couldn’t be happier with Tucker and Henry’s grooming. I know my standard poodles take a long time to groom and Marcelo does a wonderful job with them. Marcelo and the team do an amazing job every time with my Dog. You can really tell the difference between a "chainstore" groomer and highly trained boutique groomer like Marcelo. All the staff are also so friendly and really care about the animals. Highly recommended if you are looking for a groomer in the area!

We love Claws-N-Paws! Monty is always happy to go and we feel so comfortable with Marcelo and his team. There's an art to grooming a doodle and they get it right 100% of the time. Monty is a mini bernedoodle and when he leaves Claws-N-Paws, he looks like a well-groomed version of himself. We can't recommend them enough!

I intially decided to give Claws-N-Paws a try based on the reviews and so happy I did! Marcelo and his staff were amazing! Made recommendations on what would be best for my cockapoo and she looked beautiful and was so happy and comfortable in his place. I've been a few times after and she's always excited when we arrive. Took my Yorkie/Maltese (Morkie) Eloise here for her first haircut. She’s two years old and has never been to a groomer, as I have always trimmed her up with scissors myself. After two years her hair just got so long I could not manage it myself anymore and decided to get her to an actual groomer. I chose this place based off of the reviews and photos of cuts on their website. And boy was I not disappointed. Marcello did such an EXCELLENT job. My only regret is that I did not start taking my little nugget here sooner! He completely exceeded my expectations. Her coat is a little tricky because she is mixed so she does not have a standard thick straight-haired yorkie coat. She’s a bit curly from the Maltese and a little bit on the thinner side for a coat. Her frame is also very small as she is only six lbs. I’ve always been afraid she would look silly if I shaved her or got a proper cut. But he did an outstanding job, and we were in and out in two hours! The place is very very clean, and staff was very polite and professional and listened to how I would liked to have her cut. I will continue to return and do business with this place. 10/10 recommend.

If you’re looking for an outstanding grooming salon, this is where you want to take your fur baby! They do excellent work, and they are always pleasant and professional. We travel an hour to take Jewel every three months, and it’s worth every mile. We highly recommend them!

We are longtime customers at Claws and Paws with our mini schnauzer. Marcelo and his team are excellent. Not only does our schnauzer get a great haircut, she is groomed quickly and ready for pickup when promised. The salon is clean and small enough that there are not too many animals there at one time. We totally recommend.

Marcello and Team are the absolute best! They are consistent with a great cut and blow out for my doodle every single visit. We go every 5 weeks to avoid matting. I love the salon and it’s decorated with style. It’s very clean and the dogs there are always happy that you see getting groomed. Marcello is an expert! I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. The best for me though as an owner is this, my dog is always so happy to be dropped off! What more could you ask for? Thank you Marcello and see you soon!

10/10 would recommend! I’ve been to a few other places to have my yorkiepoo groomed and I will definitely say, you get what you pay for. I moved to Gibsonia about 2 years ago and started going to Claws-N-Paws based off of their reviews. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. Her haircut is perfect every time. She smells fresh, nails are trimmed, and I especially appreciate the care and concern for her hind leg after her surgery. I love the cleanliness of the building and most importantly I love that they don't crate dogs together. If you’re looking for a professional, clean, and caring place to take your pup for a grooming you’ve found your place!

We love taking our dog to Claws and Paws for grooming. She is a European Retriever and they do an excellent job of shampooing, cutting and blowing her dry. She has a very thick coat and they know just how to handle her hair. Maggie is always happy when she arrives and is treated very well! My fiancé and I had a great experience when we took our new bobtail cat, Stumpy, to Claws-N-Paws in April 2023! Stumpy is a rescue and his long hair was severely matted all over, clearly causing him great discomfort. Marcello and the team at Claws-N-paws gave Stumpy a total makeover (a lion cut). Stumpy loves his haircut: without the painful mats, his personality immediately transformed from shy and reserved to the playful kitten he truly is. Thank you Claws-N-Paws!

I just absolutely LOVEEE claws n paws!! I’m very particular about how I like my grooming to be done. When we moved to Pittsburgh from Maryland last year I was nervous to try out a new salon. I’m proud to say, this has been the ONLY place I take my girl! They always do such a wonderful job, the staff is super friendly, the ambiance and decor I love and my pups hair has just continued to flourish. I have been taking my anxious Yorkie, Milo, to Claws-N-Paws for several years now. They are extremely friendly and keep a very clean place. I have been thrilled with their grooming after bad experiences with 2 other shops. Milo always looks so handsome after being there, but if we would like anything a little shorter, they are more than happy to oblige. I would definitely recommend Claws-N-Paws to anyone looking for a good grooming experience for their pet.

I've had my sheepadoodle groomed here 3 times. Terri did a great job for the first puppy haircut. Marcello completed the second and third haircuts but rather than help my partner and I learn better ways to brush and care for the pup's coat at home, we felt shamed and scolded by him for our pup having matted spots in his hair when bringing him in. He followed my partner out to the vehicle on the final visit and expressed frustration saying that the pup would need to be shaved down. I understand there is a learning curve with owning a doodle and we are trying to learn and build better routines, but feeling shamed by Marcello did not help me care for my dog better and has resulted in negative behaviors afterwards that have lingered. Following the final grooming, our pup had excessive pinkness and irritation which had to be medicated for over a week and still had small clumps of matting and long hairs which were not cared for during the grooming that I had to trim. He also became terrified of having his harness put on and wooden floors (such as are in the shop), neither of which he had problems with before. Lastly he has become excessively more clingy, whereas he had a more independent streak before. I can't prove what his time at the groomers was like, but I have seen so many new trends in behavior after the final visit, that I do not trust that my pup had a safe and friendly visit. I would have rather honestly been given help in how to better groom or just be told they aren't accepting doodles than to have the feeling that my dog may have been mistreated in some way during his grooming here.

Our previous groomer moved and I was searching for a new groomer for our Wheaten Terrier and Goldendoodle puppy. I’m so glad we heard about Claws n Paws - the dogs look great and they love going there. I decided to take my poms somewhere new since I’ve moved and boy do I regret it. My dogs had a complete hack job done. The owner was very rude when I picked them up and claimed all they did was bite, which I found shocking since my dogs love to get groomed. You can see from the photo of my one dog that he cut way too close to the skin, which explains why they were agitated. He didn’t even bother brushing her out and instead just cut all her fur off, pure laziness on his part. I can see why this guy only accepts cash as a payment, because with that type of work he probably dealt with a lot of disputes. I’m so disappointed someone can do this bad of work. I'd rather make the hour drive to my old groomers than ever set foot in this establishment again.
