This is the coolest toy/gift store I have ever been to. They have all these unique, creative toys, and a lot of them are perfect for learning (took a pic, below). They look way more detailed and well-designed than other ones I've seen from big brands. I got the travel bingo for my young niece who lives far away (also pictured below). It's adorable.A lot of diverse selection here, too. Anything from those old Duncan Butterfly yoyos, to water-based buddha boards, star wars lego sets, sensory/fidget toys...and a lot are on display for you to try out as well.You need to at least stop and look inside if you're in the area. I'm happily making the over-an-hour drive next time I need a gift or an educational toy for one of my clients (I work with children).

This store will fool you in a great way!.. I went in on a whim because of the name and it was packed full of products that the big box store wouldn't have I got a lot of items for my family back home in Cincinnati and was not disappointed...well done keep it up the counter person was very personable also! I loved it!

I didn't know they had a second location at the Gettysburg Outlets, friend and I went there and I was just amazed at all the cute and adorable toys they had they seem to have something for everybody no matter what age. I came across a pair of soft pajama pants and they had cats all over them just the faces, well I just had to get them. Yep I'm 55 and I can say I bought kitty cat PJs at the Purple Piggy, check them out you won't be sorry. Also their prices aren't too bad...

The Purple Pig is a wonderful find of a toy store in downtown Gettysburg. It is well stocked and well organized with all high quality items ranging from old classics to unique discoveries. Prices are quite reasonable on everything. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, and encourages you to explore the store. A great place to both pick up a quick small treat as well as holiday gifts. If you are sightseeing in Gettysburg with a multigenerational family, send the kids with the grandparents into the store and go get some coffee and chocolate for yourself. There are too many wonders to see in the store for your family to notice you are gone.

This is the best toy store! I remember I couldn't wait until they opened. Now I would say I am a regular since I can't help myself buying so many toys for my toddler. 🤣 The owner and staff are very helpful! They are good people who care about their customers and sell high quality toys!
