Stopped in here for the first time. Such a charming place. Owners were very nice and wholesome. Welcoming.This place, of course, has pottery. Hand crafted, I should add. They also have so much more. Scented oils, gourmet cheeses, jellies, teas, and the such.I picked up some hot pepper jelly.The owner said he was there since 72 and his boy made the sculpted house and bust.

The signs-on-bikes caught my attention from the highway. I'd recently broken a pottery mug that I used for a couple decades, so I was delighted to see that there were so many mugs to choose from, and several designs have multiples so you can make a set.The potters son was running the shop - a two-story house - and was kind enough to tell me about his parents' artistic process. I purchased a mug that he labeled as an experiment, but I feel really lucky to have happened upon such a nice and unique cat mug. (He said it was the only one.)I also picked up some herbal tea and handmade felted soap, something I'd never heard of before.They also had local produce and other food item's available.I'm really glad I stopped and look forward to loving my mug for many years.Thank you!

I hopped out of my car and the person working there had a peach slice ready for me and my partner to sample! And of course it was awesome so I made sure to buy some. I didn’t look at the pottery since I was mainly interested in the produce but the shop looked cute. I got some cheese and strawberry jam.

Wonderful experience here. His sons are very friendly. Elisha was working next door on shelves when we arrived. We saw the four of them on the way out. The produce appeared to be fresh and from a price point perspective is in line with what one would find organic produce for in a big chain grocer.This location was clean and smelled lovely. There are dozens of options for jams, honey and roasted coffee beans. We picked up some peppers, tomatoes and an onion. The kiddo decided on apple cider 🍎All in all, a lovely experience. Thank you David for the experience.

On our way back to Canada from a pottery conference we saw hand written signs on the side of the road advertising pottery for sale and we had to stop in. We found a huge selection of beautifully glazed mugs, bowls, plates, vases, teapots and more. David's pieces were very reasonably priced, as these items are all handmade and high-quality.

The prices are steep for the pottery. David didn't waiver on his prices either when asked about buying an entire set. I did enjoy walking through their gallery and truly believe they have some beautiful pieces. Their fruits & vegetables on the other hand are always ripe and delicious.

I love this place, it is a family owned fruit and vegetable stand and a pottery store. The fruit and veggies are the best ever. I've never had a problem with anything I've gotten here. It's a little expensive, but with the quality I don't mind at all. I've never bought any pottery, it's way to expensive for me, but it is hand made and beautiful.The peaches r the best I've ever had.

A must stop if you are in the Gettysburg area! Many beautiful hand thrown pottery pieces made on site. I had to purchase a beautiful bowl for my collection. The produce is delicious! I got peaches and cherries that are amazing! Can’t wait to try the jam as well! The young man that helped me was so knowledgable and kind! I will remember and return to this little market!

You NEED to stop by this place if you love supporting local businesses and kind people! It has been an absolute favorite since I discovered it last year. They offer fresh apples, fruits, beeries, cheeses and jams from local farmers and the Amish. The family who owns this place are some of the kindest people I have ever met.The owner makes pottery and the house is filled with plenty of cups and art work to purchase. They have a wide variety of apples and other produce from local farmers and they're always delicious! They have a large selection of at least 15 cheeses that are made by Amish families. They have local honey. Home made jams inside that are absolutely delicious! I recommend getting yourself a jar of the chocolate raspberry jam (It might be a different fruit).

David Young greeted us with a smile and a basket for our shopping needs. He was so helpful and kind. I HIGHLY recommend stopping and exploring this shop. The fruits and vegetables were fresh and delicious 😋. They also had pottery, cheese, honey, goat soap, and so much more. Great place to find gifts for the folks back home. We will be stopping back for that exact reason plus picking up some more stuff for ourselves. TOP NOTCH PLACE TO VISIT!!!

Great variety of pottery and other local items. Plenty of fresh seasonal produce. I bought a mug on my first visit and plan to buy a couple other pottery items. I definitely recommend this place.

We saw the signs on the highway and ended up following them down to the shop where the owner was very nice showing us around and talking the whole time, gave us some free candy for our road trip and helped us with a car problem. 10/10

Just decided to follow the bicycle signs one day, and so glad we did! David was so down to earth, zen, and it is a family run business. The pottery was beautiful and the fruits are literally the best I have ever had. David was kind enough to offer fruits to try before buying and truly they are the juiciest, most flavorful peaches.

We stopped here on the way back from an antique store in Lamoyne. I love the little signs placed along the road. It makes for a fun drive to the destination. The big purple house stands out and is easy to find. The man that runs it is very welcoming and kind. He gave me a plum to try and it was to die for. The fruit is juicy, fresh and well priced. I will definitely be going back. What a fantastic find.

We just stopped at the Lion Potter after seeing their adorable signs on bikes on the highway! Following the signs down the road was so fun and the reward was an incredible selection of hand made pottery, cheeses, honey, tea and more. We had such a lovely time looking through everything, enjoying complementary watermelon and speaking with the artists! Definitely worth the stop, you won't regret it!

The owner is one of the kindest souls I've ever met. His pottery is beautiful and unique. Most pottery lovers know it's a very expensive craft, I think his is average pricing. I bought a lovely multi colored bowl. We purchased honey as well. We wanted to buy cheese, but were afraid of keeping it cool on our trip but his selection of cheese looked amazing. Definitely worth the stop and meeting him and his son, we hope to visit again.

This store is so neat! Such a beautiful variety of hand-made mugs, plates, cups, vases and so much more. A great opportunity to support local artists. Hand made mugs and cups last for years and are not only beautiful but also durable (comes in handy with a toddler) I'm very excited to use mine!

We go here a few times each summer to get their homemade jelly and fresh fruit. Love their goats milk and honey also. David and his kids who run the stand are amazing and friendly. They have beautiful pottery, although we havnt purchased any, if anyone needs highly unique and beautiful dinnerware, check them out!
