This is the best ice cream! A friend told us to be sure and stop here when we traveled to Gettysburg. I'm so glad we did. We had fresh peach in a waffle cone. It was the best fresh peach we've ever had, and the waffle cone was so fresh. Yum!!

The hard ice cream here is great, you can definitely tell it’s homemade. I didn’t get a chance to try the soft flavors, but I got to try Ghost Tracks and Thin Mint. I enjoyed both. The service was quick and the servers were pleasant. The little gift shop is also great with many unique gifts like ice cream scented soy candles, jars of honey, home decor, sweatshirts and t-shirts, and other Gettysburg themed gifts.

After a long day visiting Gettysburg, this place was like a heaven to us, emmmmm, Creamy homemade ice cream…..the ice cream shop itself is so cute too, one can sit outside on benches with soldiers statues around you……yummy yummy yummy, absolutely yummy. There is a small gift shop right next door with some very cute gift, just following ice cream cones on the ground :D well, enjoying the ice cream first and then go :D :D

Phenomenal ice cream and service! We were visiting Gettysburg, PA from NY and we were told this was the place to get ice cream. It’s true! The day we left to go back home, we stopped one last time. I am not sure who the gentleman was but he gave my son a free slushy on a very hot day! His kindness and generosity will not be forgotten! We plan to visit Gettysburg again and are looking forward to having more of the best ice cream around!

An amazing place to cool off with a delicious homemade frozen treat! The homemade ice cream at Mr. G’s was fantastic and hit the spot after a hot day of touring around Gettysburg. The available flavors change daily but the few we tried were all delicious. Mr. G’s also has soft serve and blended ice cream treats. There is also a nice little gift shop in the rear of the lot.

I leave the best reviews. Nobody leaves reviews like me, believe me. You wouldn't believe the quality of ice cream to come out of this place. It's been a while since I've been here but the review is long overdue. If you go to Gettysburg, you have to get ice cream here, OK? I recommend you ask that they build you a great wall of ice cream, and then get a friend or family member to pay for it.

Mr. G's has the best Ice Cream !! My favorite is the salted caramel. Then there is the Peanut butter egg. Next is the butter pecan. Vanilla oreo cookie and mint chocolate chip. AND the service is awesome too.Parking: plenty of free parking

No complaints about the ice cream, but be aware that on a hot day it melts quickly, so quickly we had to throw out the cones we bought because the ice cream was melting right through the bottom of them. They should consider freezing the ice cream to a colder temperature on very hot days if that's possible or reopen the inside seating that is presently closed.

definitely worth trying the ice cream is very good and they have alot of different variety of flavors to choose from , cones or dishes , soft dipped and they have pineapple sundays or any kind you would like them to do, highly recommend trying this at least once while your in Gettysburg.

Absolutely LOVE Mr. Gs! There are a ton of ice cream choices in Gettysburg but I keep coming back for Mr. Gs. I love that it’s a family run business. The ice cream is delicious - love the unique flavors. Also love the partnering with local food businesses to bring their ice cream creations to the next level. The staff are always efficient and pleasant. The gift shop is so quant and has so many great gifts and souvenirs.

Excellent ice cream served in dishes or cones. There's also a souvenir shop run by the same folks. There were lines in front of the order window every time we passed by,but they move fast. We were about 5th in line and got served in less than 5 minutes.

Great ice cream, I had girl scout thin mint in a waffle bowl. Wasn't really impressed with the taste of the waffle bowl but thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream.

I can not go to Gettysburg without stopping for ice cream at Mr G's. There is always a line but it moves quickly and is definitely worth standing in line for. There is a lovely little seating area all around the outside too. The past two times I visited I had the fresh peach sundae with peach ice cream😋

After dinner we took a nice little stroll. We happened to see Mr. Gas ice cream and decided to stop. Both of us got waffle cones with twist. Everything was so good and since there is a little park next door we decides to sit there in the breeze. The staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

A great little mom and pop ice cream shop right in the middle of historic Gettysburg. Besides the awesome flavors and menu options available at very reasonable prices (try the Peanut Butter, its amazing!) The shop also serves up some great local sodas, and a real healthy dose of history. Sit inside and take a break from the heat, or out on the deck and get photobombed by thwir civil war soldier statues.

Overall, the best place to get ice cream in historic Gettysburg. You will get great tasting homemade hard ice cream with a variety of flavors. My favorite is salty caramel. Yum!The portion sizes are plentiful and the prices are reasonable. Make sure that you get the frequent ice cream card. You will get a free one in no time.Do not visit Gettysburg and not stop. You will not be disappointed.
