The proprietors of this store are extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating people I have ever met. Their stock is of very high quality, they offer a wonderful selection and have very reasonable pricing. I came in after my sneakers literally fell apart and I found what I needed immediately. Service was beyond excellent. They even photographed my defective shoes for me so I could have a record for the company who sold them to me. I am not even local, but it sure felt like I was. If you need footwear, please skip the chains and give your business to martins family shows

My husband and I were on vacation in Gettysburg and he decided he wanted to look at shoes because his feet were bothering him. We were met with the owner(s) and given such great service! How awesome it is to find a store that gives not only great customer service, but catered to what my husband was saying! He not only bought a pair of shoes, but went back the next day and bought 2 more pairs of shoe/boot. Thank you for taking such good care of him because I've never heard him say so many times how good his feet feel!!!! We'll be back to visit you next year when we're in town!!

I went into Martin's Family Shoe store in search of that perfect shoe. When I arrived I was greeted and their staff assisted me in whatever they could. I have feet problems so I really needed a good and stylish shoe, and at Martin's I got just what I needed! They have tons of high end brands and good prices for very good quality. I would recommend coming here if you are in need of a good pair of shoes!

My doctor gave me alist of 5 specific shoes I could buy that would be acceptable to transition into while stress fractures in my feet continued to heal. Martin's had one in stock. They said they could order in two others on the list, and they gave me the phone numbers of a couple of other stores within driving distance that I could call right then and there to see if I could try on any more than one kind of shoe in one stop. It didn't work out that way, and I needed shoes immediately. I was very grateful that Martin's was willing to risk losing my business to make sure that I got what I needed. In the end I bought from them anyway. I would definitely go back.

we were on vacation in Gettysburg, pa and I had been looking for a newpair of running shoes. My husband suggested I go into your store, but I wasn't at all sure I was going to find anything. The young lady that waited on us told me the story of her dad having a knee problem when he ran and the Hoka shoes helped him. I was getting back into running after being away from it for 25 years. The Hoka shoes I got are the best running shoes I have ever had. Thank you for suggesting them. I have started running again and it is going great!!!
