Such a fun place to take your kids and grandkids! We had such a fun time! We went on a Saturday and had so much fun! The animals are so cute and seem nicely cared for by everyone. My niece loved the gem mining and played in the sand a while. The petting zoo was great! The shows were so cute and fun. Cameo was the star of the show! Lol. It's nice to see all the young workers all around the park working so hard. The girls in Western town doing pony rides were so patient and nice with the kids. The young lady in the sugar shack was sweet as can be. We really enjoyed the last show and after it, we got her picture with the unicorn! She couldn't stop talking about it on the ride home. We promised to come back soon! Highly recommend this place as a day trip for the kiddos! The gift shop we stopped in on the way out, was nice and had such cute items! Great to find a nice gift or a take home souvenir. Great job LOLH!

I used to love going to this place as a kid. Went with my best friend a few weeks ago, a lot has changed. A lot of the animals didn’t seem happy like they used to. There was one horse that just kept kicking and crying wanting to be out of its very small stall. Also not as many animals as they used to be but prices are more expensive?? Don’t plan on returning. Staff is lovely though!

This place wants to have that feel of old school Americana, but it seems like it’s on a downward slide. Our kid had a good time, but a 3 year old will flip their lid over live animals regardless of the setting. From an adults perspective, it seems a touch “Joe Exotic”. The facilities seem run down, some of the fenced in areas are completely overgrown with no animals. The indoor show “arena” smelled like a litterbox, not horses. We saw horses, a zebra, a camel (from a distance), a llama, goats, sheep, a couple donkeys, and three fallow deer from afar. Definitely not all that was advertised and less than that of a county fair.Although I’m not a horse expert, I grew up in the country and know when animals have a good living environment. I unfortunately had to question that here. With some love, this place could be awesome, but it looks like it’s on that brink of no return.

We had a really good time. The owners and their daughter and very kind and intelligent. The animals are well loved and cared for. I'm glad we took the drive to visit! Rain or shine you can have a great full day here.

This is a really special place. The horses are so much fun to see, pet, and feed. I love how they now have Zippy the zebra who has a personality! Mini the horse (who isn't so mini) is another treat. Make sure you sneak around to the back of the pig barn (by the playground) - one of the pigs love to stick her hooves up on the wall and snort. We kept going back to see her do it. The staff went way above and beyond to make it a special experience. For instance, one staff member went into the barn and coaxed Mini out with some food so we could see her. The same staff member also brought a little horse around and tied her leash to the wall so the kids could groom her. You can tell the staff love working there and take pride in the animals.

We came here for a quick daily adventure for the family and we had a good time. Many different animals to see and interact with while you are here and many nice areas for pictures. They have a snack snack for food and a gift ship as well. We enjoyed the pig racing and animal talent show was neat to see. We had fun and recommend for young children especially.

I absolutely loved this place! It is better and bigger than I imagined! Me and my husband went, without children or grandchildren. He's 51 and I'm 48. Lmao! Some little horses just walk around the grounds! Can't wait to take our kids and grandkids! Worth the $10 to get in! Everyone will love this place! They even have a camel and "striped horse!"

We love it here! Great fun for the whole family. Something for everyone to do. I remember going here as a child, now I take my children here. They let a good amount of mini horses out to roam free, that you can feed and interact with. You can buy food for them at the giftshop. No outside food allowed for your safety. So we just pack a lunch and go out to the car to eat, then reenter to finish the day. There is a small kitchen where you can sit inside and buy lunch, enjoy a bit to eat. There is good food at good prices. You can tell the staff really loves their jobs. They make you feel welcomed, like you're a old friend. You can tell that they enjoy what they do. Everytime we go here it's always a wholesome time. There's goats, pigs a llama, a zebra, donkey and a few cats you can see and interact with as well. Please keep in mind the animals are still animals and may nip. Especially watch your small children who do not hold their hands flat when feeding them. My one year old got bit, so keep in mind it's always your responsibility to keep you and yours safe.Definitely a great way to spend a day. We celebrated my daughters 5th and her 6th birthday here. It's one of her favorite places. I'm sure we will be back again!10 outta 10 highly recommended

Nice day trip event! Not only are there lots of miniature horses, but there's also a llama, camel, zebra, pigs, and others. You get a cup of feed so you can feed the various animals. The pig race is lots of fun. Definitely can't miss the main show in which the minis do a lot of cool tricks! There's a section where you can "mine" gems, take a wagon ride, and ride a pony. There's also a small train ride through the upper part of the park. Only the main show and pig race are included. But the other things aren't much extra. There are picnic tables and benches. Full bathrooms. Also a cafeteria with subs, hot sandwiches, burgers, sides, fruit, drinks. Lots of parking. The lot is gravel but the park itself is paved so fine for strollers and wagons.

I see a lot of potential at the Land of Little Horses, so I recommend visiting so they have an incentive to improve the park.In addition to attending the main part of the Land Of Little Horses, they also offer horseback rides, called Trail Rides, which was disappointing. The website states the rides are an hour long; ours was 36 minutes, and that included a stop at the lake for pictures. The "trail" was just walking around the outside of their grass field.

In between all of the museums, I wanted something that would appeal to my 3 year old as well. I was sure it would be a bit of a bore for my 8 and 10 year old. I was wrong. We spent a little over 2 hours here and everyone loved it. The animals are well taken care of and staff was friendly. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Gettysburg with kids.

Very cute place to visit for a few hours. Loved the unicorn. It's nice that they have multiple locations for food and drinks. The train ride is kinda only for little kids. Didn't do the wagon ride. It was a good time. My kids loved the main show and all the animals.

We had a blast here. So much fun! The grounds were exceptionally clean for a farm that has animals wandering. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. There's lots of room to roam, different pricing options to choose from, plenty to do and see. The animals are tame and super gentle with all the kids. Only downside is I don't live close enough to get a membership and visit frequently. They even offer a summer camp! There's a gift shop and small cafe. I felt all the pricing was fair. Can't wait to go back one day...hopefully soon. We loved it!

A great experience for younger children to see pig races, unicorn /pony/dog show, swings with slide and they have option of buying wagon and train rides. Pony rides are $5 extra. Cafe food was excellent and no expensive! The unicorn show was very well done with lights and music. They space out each program so there is something to do almost every 30 minutes. $41 admission for two people. My daughter rely enjoyed herself!

You can spend an entire day here. My 2 year old had so much fun! What's really nice is you can purchase the biggest package for her, but aren't forced to as the adult accompanying her. The girls at the desk help you figure out the best bang for your buck, which I appreciate. So for example, she was able to mine for gems, but we didn't have to buy our own ticket to help her with that. She had a mini train ride, a hay ride, mined, played in the mini western town, rode a pony, and fed the animals. Goats and mini horses roam free, which was so exciting for her. She squealed with delight through the "mane" event. Helpful and friendly staff. Impressive gift shop!

I’ve gone here every year the past 4-5 years and it has totally gone down hill. I paid $50 for 3 admissions, 2 feed cups and 2 train ride tokens. Definitely not worth it. I don’t know if they are short staffed but the animals are not being taken care of. The stalls for the mini horses were disgusting and look way too skinny. They haven’t been brushed nor the camel. There looked to be a sick calf in the main barn laying down with tons of flies. Down at the bottom side in the woods, none of the goats, donkeys or other animals had no food or water and it was 90+ degrees. It was really sad that animals are suffering like this. The place is not maintained, abandoned buildings, junk laying around and weeds all over the place. Definitely don’t waste your time or money.

We have had a good time every time we have come; the kids like to see the little horses and it’s an opportunity to be outside and enjoy the animals and sunshine. They have summer camps, they offer field trips, they have a cute little gift shop and an online store and clean facilities; picnic tables to eat with your young children - obviously peak season of spring-summer busiest in the area for anything with tourism but not overly busy

Spending the day at Gettysburg will not be complete without visiting this place, especially if you have kids. after all the statues and the wars museum and battlefields. This is a good place to end your trip. My kids loves walking around, they have a few other animals aside from the little horses. We love the 30 minutes show. If you have to drive 2 hours to go back home then this place should be your last stop. You can sit outside and relax for a little bit while your kids walk around or you leisurely walk with them. They have pony ride for the kids for $5, very reasonable. They also have a gift shop and a tiny snack bar where you can buy some refreshment before heading home. Place is clean and staffs were very friendly.

I took my kids here 35 to 40 yrs ago. This year I brought my grandchildren. They were older than most kids there, but enjoyed feeding and petting all the little horses, and goats. It was a fun day for us.

Fun for the little ones. Suspicious that they won’t let you video the “Mane event.”Great for Kiddos. Animals walk around the park with you.I doubt they own the rights to “Friend like me” from Disney, or Willy Wonka song from Warner Brothers.

My 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son really enjoyed this. In addition to the horse barns and farm animal pens, there are also miniature horses and alpacas that roam freely among the visitors. Fun western themed playground, although would have been nicer if more in the shade. Entertaining show. Pricey, although you save a few bucks on admission with AAA discount.

We had an amazing birthday party at Land of the Little Horses. The staff were wonderful to work with, the kids and adults had a fabulous time. We rode ponies, panned for gems, watched a great show, feed the animals and enjoyed refreshments prepared by the amazing staff. We highly recommend this wonderful adventure for your next party or a daily visit.
