As someone who has traveled across the United States, from California to Colorado, this particular store is literally the MOST EXPENSIVE grocery store I’ve ever been in. and I’m not joking….More expensive than Whole Foods, and the quality and selection is complete garbage. I’d at least expect at the prices to be quality food but, everything is mostly artificial garbage especially at the deli.

We loved this small neighborhood supermarket! The place was very clean, well lit, and the counter staff and cashiers were very pleasant. We stopped in for some food from the deli and the hot food counter to take with us for a picnic lunch while touring Gettysburg. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area and will definitely stop on our next stop here.

Went in Friday evening to get some chicken I do believe that day shift staff in the deli are much friendlier a much better than evening I feel that I am buying the chicken and I should be able to pick what pieces I like to have one of the evening shift staff member in the deli I made a comment that we were playing musical chicken 🍗 don't get me wrong the chicken they have is very good I just did not appreciate the evening staff

For a smaller grocery store it's very nice. Extremely well kept produce area, open and clean aisles, staff was very nice too. The prices seemed competitive for what you'd expect there. Pretty easy to get in and out of.

I really love the deli counter and sales offers they run every week. I don't like the meats or seafood at this location because it always looks like it is near the expiration date.

Excellent grocery. Supermarket. Pretty good prepared foods - a good selection at any rate. Super clean. The people are awesome. Overpriced but the convenience of the location may outweigh that. Definitely worth a visit.

Defietly a really cool grocery store in gettysburg, this place pretty much has everything you need, this local store even has a salad bar, the staff were friendly and helpful, and its worth a visit to find some great products, they even had rutters brand milk

Nice local store. They usually have what Giant doesn't!! I use the water service out front to fill my 5 Gallon water jugs. It cost $1.50 compared to buying one already filled for $9! I bought removable caps from Amazon and yo can find cleaning tips for your bottles on Google!

We camp in Gettysburg often, and for fellow campers this is a local grocery option. The bakery items looked fresh.The store currently features $5 Friday deals. We got a variety of fresh bagels, and New York strip steaks when we stopped in.

I bought a bag of your peaches on Saturday. They were hard. Today labor day I cut them up bc they had gotten soft and each peach was brownon the inside. Couldn't eat them. I paid $15.00 or so on them. Couldn't use them. I threw all of them away. Watch what you buy. Go to the fruit stands to get better fruit.

We love shopping here! Great produce & meat, and the salad bar is wonderful for a quick lunch! Everyone is very friendly, willing to help, and seem to enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend!

I recently had to give a mouthful to a young man in Kennie's. Him, and everyone else in the store would stand behind me as I scanned items at self checkout. I thought it was just me until my wife reached out to corporate about the same situation. I've gone outside and watched to see if they dealt with everyone else like that, but they don't. I don't want to pull the race card at all, but it is pretty obvious, especially since an employee went through my bag in Giant to make sure I scanned all my items at self checkout

I needed to go in for a quick buy of some cold water bottles. The store is last d out very nicely and the prices seemed reasonable. If I were her as a tourist, I would definitely go to this grocer for my items instead of the other convenience stores where the prices are much higher. I also heard the questions at checkout about having a Kennie’s number that was obviously some type of rewards program.

Lots of great produce replaced often as well as food seasonal choices. Deli looks clean and the service is great. The prices are a little higher than some big chains like giant but it's a great and easy to reach place in town.

It's a small family-owned grocery chain right here in south central Pennsylvania. And with that in mind, their fruit and veggie selection isn't going to be as phenomenal as say a larger national chain such as wise and giant that we have here in Gettysburg as well. However, the service and the friendliness in the politeness is unmatched. You do not have the selection as you would in the largest doors regardless of what category you're looking for. But what you do have is very fresh ingredients, of great and house bakery and kitchen with great store made food. I love their fried Chicken. It is so good. If you ever go and you have a hankering for fried chicken you will not be disappointed. So every single time I go, five stars. I don't get harassed by sales people wanting me to buy all of the things. Everyone is super nice and friendly. The aisle ways are clean and clear. It's just a nice, friendly, local supermarket. You know you don't have the selection but you get what you need. And it does okay. I have no complaints.

We always get great deals at Kennies. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The butchers meats are always fresh. You must try the apple sausage!!Got a tuna sub today. Absolutely fantastic. Cheryl in the deli is always a great help to my wife and I. We will continue to shop here!

A great hometown grocer. We always hunt a local grocery over a franchise and Kenny's is an excellent example of why. Staff is always friendly and they have a nice selection of fresh meats and produce at great prices.

I went to Kennie Markets for the first time on Friday and had a great experience there. While the prices and selections were great it’s the people who work there that made the experience great. A gentleman who works there named Steve was especially kind to my Autistic son when he found out that he is a budding weatherman (Johnny Thunder). Steve’s kindness in taking a minute to listen to my son tell the weather touched my heart. The young lady at checkout was sweet along with other employees who offered help and a smile. Great place with employees that made my extraordinary son’s day and mine.

I have always loved going here- it’s clean, well stocked, right in town, but best of all they have the most kind and helpful staff working there. I’ve never been here without being greeted with a hello and a warm smile from at least a few employees on the floor. They also are so easy to work with if you have to return or exchange something. No hassles at all. Now they also have switched from plastic bags which I think is such a great investment in keeping our community- and the environment- cleaner and healthier. Way to go Kennies!

Today’s trip to our local grocery store yielded a new experience. I got beeped by a senior on a motorized cart. A first.This store is perfect for our community. Easily accessible from the Boro. Nice selection of meats and always local produce.Don’t let the seniors get the best of you, especially those in motorized carts.
