This place is an awesome hidden gem! What a stress reliever to go in and pet a bunch of cute kittens. The volunteers here are so sweet and really do care about all these cats getting to good homes. The cats all have their own cages or share a big cage with another cat, and they lounge in the common areas if they’re on good behavior.

My sister and I visited a few weeks ago and were impressed by the caring staff and the amount of space the cats have to run around - several rooms - one is the newbies room with cages for those who have recently come in from their fosters ready for adoption. All get out of their cages for cuddles and exercise. Lots are always out since they are no longer newbies and run with the clowder!

This place is the most meowy best place out there!While visiting family for the holiday, we wanted to do something different for Christmas Eve, this place was open and honestly, it will become a new family tradition for us to spend Christmas Eve at this location when in town. (Provided its open)There are so many precious beans residing here that are seeking a loving home. If I had the space I would take them all home.We were here for hours just playing with the kitties, learning about them, their stories, names. The young girl who volunteers here is quite the keeper of all this information!We think of these babies often since our visit and I hope we can go back soon to play with them in this new year.Please considering stopping by to enjoy some much needed kitty time and if you so decide to travel down the path of being a kitty parent, give this place a look see first. :DWe love you kitties ❤

Recently adopted a cute 6 month old calico from here. The free style living allowed at Forever Love made her transition seamless. She was already litter trained, acclimated to other cats and a good eater. Thanks to the supplied medical records I could confidently introduce her to my current cat and he was the one that needed to get used to her. Within a few days they were playing together. The excellent care she had received at Forever Love prepared her for the future. Great work!

The name says just about it all. I was able to rescue a very friendly kitten from the street, and they were able to take him in , and are going to find him a very loving home. Initially he was scared, but over time saw that he is being treated with love, and is pampered. This no kill shelter truly cares for animals, and sees that they are placed in loving homes.

Any kitty who winds up here while waiting for their furever home, is very lucky! They are well loved and cared for and given no time limit. Some have been there for years and there is no rush! I volunteered there until I had a medical issue that prevented me, but still donate/help whenever I can. This is where I met Mitzy (pictured below), who had been there going on two years and we are lucky to have her now in her forever loved home! They also take doggies in when they can find a foster (do not have a kennel to accommodate).Their expenses always seem to outweigh the donations (how they are funded), even though they are staffed by a wonderful all volunteer group (including the president), they always could use donations. They also share with other charitable organizations in need, if they can help.However, what really brings them joy is when they find the perfect home for one of their potential adoptees, like Mitzy (pictured below), who waited for us for almost two years to bring her home. All adoptions do require approval and start out on a trial basis to ensure it is a good fit (they will easily take them back if not). Also, there is no pressure to adopt if you just want to drop by and see the kitties, as the kitties love when people come to visit!! Then you can can check out how all their animals are forever loved!!

We got our sweet boy from Forever Love, and loved our experience! This place is great - they let the kitties roam the entire place so they aren’t all stuck in cages all day long. Now I love to donate to them and visit the other cats every now and then. Definitely recommend!

I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking to adopt a kitty. All of their kitties are really well taken care of and you can tell they care a lot. Very friendly, knowledgeable and kind! My only regret is that we could not adopt more kitties. Thank you Mandy and the rest of the staff. We'll be sending you pictures of "Eri" soon!

What a great experience. From the planned meet and greet, to correspondence with the foster mom, to the adoption date, it was all professional and positive. But the best part, the amazing cat I adopted! So obviously loved and well adjusted. I am the luckiest mama! Thank you for filling our hearts and home with so much love.

Wonderfully clean and lots of fun! The staff are so caring and keep close tabs on each cats temperament and who they spend time with. It was very nice to see the cats a real home-like setting and be able to interact with them. My boys were able to see which cats approached them and wanted to play.

If you're looking for a new furry friend to add to your family, I recommend checking out Forever Love Rescue!This rescue has a lot of cats, of all ages, available for adoption. Many of them are able to roam freely around the Kitty Corner building, which allows you to engage with them more easily. It also allows you to see how the cats interact with one another and how they do around people and kids.My husband and I knew that we wanted to adopt a younger, outgoing, and playful cat as a playmate for our 1.5 year old cat at home. Being able to pet, hold, and play with the cats at FLR allowed us to quickly narrow down cats that we thought would be a good fit for our family. The staff and volunteers were also able to offer suggestions on cats that they thought had personalities to fit what we were looking for.The adoption process was easy. We filled out an application online and were approved within a few days. We scheduled an appointment for adoption the following weekend and were able to fill out all of the paperwork for our newest baby within just a few minutes.When the time comes for us to adopt again, I know that we will return to Forever Love Rescue. The staff and volunteers were very helpful and kind, and all of the felines we cute as can be! I definitely recommend FLR to anyone needing a new kitty.

They were very patient with us considering they had a lot of kittens to choose from, and our new kitten is not only semi trained but she's very sweet, and affectionate. They offer a great selection of breads, bagels, snack foods, chips, pretzels, etc. as well as baked goods, and candy that are always fresh. They also offer other food items and these are items that you have to check expiration dates on. I've found things from salad dressings, to pie fillings, oatmeal, canned goods, and other items that were 2 to 3 yrs old. On the whole a great place to safe money on mostly bakery and bread items.

I had the pleasure to visit the Forever Love Rescue at the Kiity Corner today. I went to pick up outdoor cat shelters for those kitties that do not have a forever home, to help them find shelter from the cold weather. I applaud the team of rescuers, volunteers and foster parents who administer to the lost, the forgotten, the forsaken and abused cats and kittens. I especially was happy to see those little innocent ones being rescued and living in a home like environment. The cats are wonderful and love to play and have freedom from cramped cages, dirty environments, etc. If you want to spend a quiet or fun day, visit the kitties....they will love to meet you, play or just take a cat nap with you. Who knows.....you just might decide to adopt that special new friend and give them a loving forever home. Remember, all that cat hair on your clothes was really a little one sharing a part of themselves and that cat hair is nothing but pure love! So, visit the kitties in Gettysburg, it may just be the best day trip you ever planned!

I visited here on Saturday, Nov. 23; wow, what a lot of cats! I am already owned by a cat, but if you're looking for that special kitty, please visit, and you'll be sure to find one that tugs at your heart. The staff seemed so nice, and it was encouraging to see the cats being in good hands.

The people that I have met from this rescue go above and beyond for these animals. There is nothing they won't do for the fur babies in their care and/or to rescue one in need. They took in a kitten my daughter and her husband found. It was after hours and they still helped us within a half an hour of calling!Good people doing great things.

A beautiful place, we visited there while on vacation this summer. I missed my own kitties so much, when we saw this place we stopped in!! I got my "kitty fix" - got to hold, pet and talk with several Fur People. They have a wonderful atmosphere, take good care of them, and I recommend them to anyone looking to add to their family!!!

I fosteted a total of 5 dogs through here. I adopted 2 of them. The owner of this rescue is AMAZING! She & her volunteers all truly care about the animals. They always make sure the animals they adopt out are in good health and have been vet checked, spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. They are also very helpful and will offer you to "foster to adopt" to do all they can to ensure the best possible fit for your and your new pet. Also, I love how you can go hang out with the cats anytime to see if any stand out to you. Definately recommend! Would give more stars if I could!!

This place was amazing! To see all those cats roaming around free, it was wonderful. However, there are cages available if they are scared and want somewhere safe to go, but they don't have to stay there. I will be stopping by (and making a donation) every time I'm in Gettysburg!

Volunteers communicated with me each time I emailed a question. When I went to find my new fur-baby, they were patient as I checked out many different cats. Since I was visiting the area and staying on a hotel, they held my girl for a day until we had checked out of the hotel.

I can't stress enough how much I love this rescue. Not only did we adopt the sweetest kitty, Pebbles from them, they were the only rescue that was able to help us when we found a cat that was abandoned on a very cold night in a Wal-Mart shopping cart. This rescue truly cares for animals and it shows on how above and beyond they go to help out these animals and help them find loving forever homes. I am so blessed to have been able to find them!
