The staff here are always rude. I have given them multiple chances and each time I shop here I feel like I'm an inconvenience to the cashiers who have rung me out. Huffing about paying with cash, wanting a receipt, folding up giftbags while bagging then practically throwing my change & bags at me. There is almost always a long line with only one register open and two other employees just standing off to the side doing nothing. This place isn't worth the hassle for the few dollars you save by shopping here.

Most of the cashiers are rude including that male who thinks he’s a female with the glasses. The lady with the long blonde hair who looks like maybe a recovering addict was very rude and appeared to be talking about me with other customers. Sad their is only one dollar tree in this town, bringing more diversity into town had some in a uproar I see.

I was in this place today and I was very badly attended by the cashier Juanita. From the moment I see that I am Hispanic, she behaved racistly towards me and my two daughters. my daughters were scared while she attended us. my money seemed to stink to her… i feel offended and humiliated by this cashier

I would've given this 0 stars if i had the ability to. The products are low quality and it was extremely slow. There was a specific cashier named Jaunita that was rude to me, the people in front of me and everyone in the store. The woman in front of me was making polite small talk and she snapped at her and rudely threw her bags at her. She was extremely impatient and commented on my clothing, deeming me inappropriate when that is not her place. This could go down for harassment but i wasn't even bothered. I hate coming here because of her and I won't be back. I have read other reviews and this is my final straw. Everyone has a problem with her so far. The other employees are fine but she is the problem.

The cashier was very rude, slamming my purchases on the counter gave you a very mean look like we did something wrong. My daughter paid for something separate paying with cash and she didn't want to give her the change took her forever to give it to her and gave her a mean look also.

Awful experience store was filthy, products where laying all over the store, empty boxes in some isles on the floor. Associate who checked the lady in front of me & myself out was down right rude ! I paid in cash with exact change like the sign asked and she actually huffed at me and dropped the changed in the floor on her side and just looked at me like it was my fault no sorry nothing. Sales associate’s name is Juanita the receipt says. I’ll be driving to New Oxford to their Dollar tree when I want to go from now on . Worst Service ever down right disrespectful!

The cashier, Juanita, was very rude and unprofessional. Actually made me sad. I would suggest replacing her. Will be driving to the New Oxford location for now on :(

If I could give this store one star I would, it had dirty boxes around the store, a extremely rude cashier (Juanita) that was rude to everyone.. I'm disabled and my daughter is autistic.. she was beyond rude to us , we walked out and went to Walmart .. never going back lost a customer here, the manager is not much better (Jolene) these ppl need educated on how to treat ppl with a disability show some compassion .

The cashier at the time was very rude an unpleasant person. My friend was in line paying for her stuff. Right after she had left the cashier started talking about her too me. An the cashier acted like she did not want too be there working, I never had a problem with anyone there an I go there a lot. I said something to another employee an they got a manger an they said that they have been having problems with her. But they never got rid of her yet. That’s why I only left 3 stars.

Juanita, my arch nemesis. She attacked my sister verbally for her clothing choice and yelled at us for leaving our dog in the car with the windows open. She eyed my mom and slammed down our stuff in a fit of anger. She piled our stuff messily and took 10 minutes to check out our 3 items. I will NOT be coming back to this store. BAD BAD BAD! As long as Juanita is there, i will not be.#juanitalore

UPDATE 1/29/2022Dollar Tree prices were recently hiked to $1.25 per item!I think they intend to keep the name, though it may be a bit misleading.I mean... What would they call it - $1.25 Tree???Doesn't have the same ring to it.Or maybe "Dollars Tree"? That works.I can't blame them, although a 25% hike in ANY business, is a huge leap.I guess a comparable naming precedent would be the old "Five & Dime" stores, where you'd be hard-pressed to find ANY items in those price ranges.But, I STILL love Dollar Tree!But, sorry to say - Gettysburg STILL has the poorest looking Dollar Tree I've ever been to.It still has most of the standard items, and keeps it stocked well... so that's nice.Unfortunately, it's also my local store, and my most frequented.I think it's about time for an upgrade, or maybe even a larger location!?Maybe NOW the franchise can consider putting some of that new money into OUR store?

The store is always, organized and well stocked. Staff is friendly and courteous. Very speedy checkouts. The store was very busy this morning. Employee "LaLa" was at the checkout. She showed genuine sense if urgency, but did not act overwhelmed, abrupt or stressed. So nice to see in today's world!!!!

Lately when I've gone here to shop the shelves have been sparsely stocked as though they're either remodeling or just not getting much merchandise shipped into the store.Other than that the aisles are wide the employees are friendly and the store is clean.

Normally it is fast in and out but today they had trouble with one register they called for help only thing they did was have the one cashier move to another register and the other cashier was blowing up balloons which was a lot of balloons and people were waiting over fifteen minutes to half an hour to be rung up. And at one point they told a woman that another register was open and that woman went and waited which she had to wait longer til the cashier who was told to stop onthe one she was on and go to the one that they had opened so the I guess the person who was a Manger took over but they should have opened a third register. I was about to just put my stuff down and leave so something needs to change when things don't happen like that again.

Nice store to go and grab some thing but will not be coming in as frequently due to my past couple times in. Employees of any level should not be talking down about other employees or their families within the office in a loud enough manor for everyone to hear as they come in the store and also while checking out. This is not ok behavior or good customer service.

i went in to buy makeup and fake nails and when i buy the nails that say 12 pack its only for one hand i didn't know that and i had to throw them out because i couldn't go back in and get more you guys should put up signs so people know and why do you guys have christmas stuff with the halloween stuff thats a little odd ???? anyways great store just you guys should put up signs that let people know so if they wanted to wear the nails they can and not have to make another trip or throw them out other than that absolutely great store amazing...

I always find things here that I need. Brand name cleaning supplies, dish soap, canned foods, lotion, liquid hand soap, and I also got 10 cans of Old El Paso Enchalada sauce for a dollar for ALL 10! I have never bought anything expired here. Good place to save $$ !!

I just love shopping the Dollar Tree, you can get so much more for less with one stop! It is fun to plan a party or reunion with activities for the kids, and the kids love it, too!

A well stocked Dollar Tree usually; however they almost consistently do not have enough registers open. Cashiers are always friendly though!
