This is a great place for good, homestyle food. If you’re looking for gourmet food, the selections here are limited. The produce is pretty good and the deli area is excellent with a wide selection of prepared foods that fall within the Amish comfort food category. The little to go area outside of the grocery has some really good pretzels and other fast food items.

Update from my previous 1 star rating. Katy, our server was pleasant, prompt, got our order right, kept our coffee topped off, and served our food hot. The food was also excellent. The home fries were perfect, the best I have had since the Gap diner closed. My omelet was also prepared well. Everything looked and tasted great. Keep up the good work.

we go here after the strasburg railroad adventure every year and they accommodate our big group each time . Food is delicious! Sometimes the salad bars better than others but for salad bar it's not bad

So last week I bought a $12.99 pumpkin pie and it was one of the worst pies I ever bought here! The crust was so hard you needed a steak knife to cut it. Very disappointed as we ended up throwing the rest in the trash. Not sure what happened to the bakery here but won't be supporting this bakery any longer. Very disappointed!

Prices are too high , but customer service is great . Fast food buffet is sub standard , food is room temperature , bland and / or overcooked.

It's not bad the groceries are excellent the quick bites are good too but the restaurant sucks we had breakfast and the pancakes were dry,the food wasn't hot everything else ok

Stopped off here for lunch on the way home to Mechanicsburg. Big store for a little town (Newport) and must serve the farming community. Brightly lighted, clean and had wide aisles. Nice place with an adjoining restaurant.

So we have bought ham loaf here for years, always very good, last week we bought 5 lbs. it was not like usual , the flavor was bland, the texture was mushy and felt like cotton looks when we were eating it, not sure what was wrong? Has someone else had this experience? So disappointed!

We love the Dutchway wings . They are meaty and delicious so I ordered a wing tray for our Super Bowl party on line- when I went to pick it up no one could find it- disappointed but then the manager gave us wings as a replacement for free. They could not have been nicer. We always appreciate their outstanding customer service. Thank you

Took a star because they no longer offer the hot buffet. The food was good, generous portions, not too badly priced. Server lady was awesome, girl at the checkout was lovely and friendly. All around decent experience everytime.

I ride here occasionally on the e-bike and enjoy deals in the meat section, as well as fresh produce, dry goods, and blueberry bagels. The cafe has amazing soft pretzels, as well as a generous portion of ice cream. I also try to make it out whenever they have the bbq going.

First time there I thought it was a nice store very clean. Found what we needed. Nice store we come from wilm de for restaurants and stop to shop very nice store.We have not been in the store in a while very well maintained and clean. Wish they had one in Delaware.

Great 3 day meat sale. Brought family packs of hamburger meat, pork loin, and other meats & only paid $80.Coming out of the store, they have a wonderful selection of prepared foods to eat & go.

Best powdered cream filled donuts on the planet! I live in VA and have the news out to family and friends...if your up that way, grab me a dozen cream filled donuts!! Also,they freeze well! Just typing this review makes me want some...NOW!! Highly recommend!!!

The atmosphere as soon as you walk in and enter the store you automatically know that you are going to be surrounded by happy friendly employees/customers.There are times where the register lines are packed with people and I tell customers that are in the same line with me just stay calm and just have a little patience and you will be on your way in a few.

Cleanest supermarket I have ever been in. Their meat selection is wonderful. They offer several local fruits and vegetables among other items in the store. Their deli section is outstanding. Very friendly workers.....they even have baggers at checkout.....very nice touch. Reminds me of something you would see back in the 50's or 60's

What a triumph to have this amazing store not sell out to to big business. This is the cleanest, most economical shopping experience I've ever had. The sales are the best!! Yuck. Store is depressingly uninspiring. Prices are unnecessarily high while selection is poor. Atmosphere is zilch. Clientele is... difficult to witness. There's zero need to ever go back. Spend your money elsewhere!

Stopped off on my way home from the Bay At 8:40 PM. Was happy they were open till 9 PM and all the Employees were extremely nice and helpful.Store was very organized and clean and I definitely planned to shop here more often. I live in New Holland and travel this road at least twice a week.Thank you for a great experience!

My family and I were coming to PA in 2 cars and they arrived about 30 ahead of me (I was behind).The service was overly slow for them. They weren't checked up on by their server. I was told at the end of their visit not all food was delivered and drinks were not refilled. Their food was over cooked and dry.There wasn't value in their dinner. It was a large shame.I arrived to sit with my family and waited (after announced my arrival to their hostess and want service) for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged. I deeply believe this restaurant needs to truly improve their presents and hospitality or go out of business fast.
