A good grocery store. Isles are a little tight, but they carry a lot of products. I like going there for the locally made maple syrup products, the cinnamon maple syrup comes in a lovely bottle and makes a great gift. You can find Salt Bread here as well. Last time I was there, they had a big sale on meat. I saw a lot of people in the store for that. Plenty of parking.

I'm not from Galeton, but every time I visit my vacation cabin I do my grocery shopping here. They are so friendly and they have such a nice selection of everything you'd need. The deli is amazing.

We were passing through on our way to a cabin we rented for our anniversary. We realized we forgot a few things for thr dinner we were going to make and stopped here. It was as I remember a small-town store from the 80s as a kid. And I was greeted upon entering. Some areas are a tight fit, but it was clean and organized. Price increases have hit everywhere, but it felt like prices were kept as low as could be.It just operated well with seemingly happy people. A woman ahead of us was having an issue with her payment method. It was resolved patiently which was nice to see. There was just this nostalgia about the place that made me happy we needed to stop.

Love this small market that has great quality items and is stocked with plenty of selections also. They make the most of the space in the store. Their deli is excellent and the baked goods are fantastic! Love their home made salads and hoagies & sub sandwiches. Produce section is always stocked up and fresh and appealing to the eye.

The place to go for all your grocery needs. Large inventory, fresh fruits & vegetables. Meat department is top notch. Customer service is courteous & friendly. I highly recommend.

It's a small local grocery store, and prices are high as it's the only such store for 20 or so miles in either direction. They don't always have a great selection of brands. However, their regular fresh-cut meat sales are good bargains as well as their deli meats.

Lazy kid at the checkout couldn't even get off his stool to reach items on the belt, and that horrible noise they play over the speakers. Sounded like somebody was being torched.

Wow, are these isles tight. Exactly enough room to guide a cart through. Selection wasn't too bad and prices were ok. Tough finding an employee to help if you need it though. Not a bad place to shop.

Update very rude cashier there EBT system was down and they knew it no signs! When my wife suggested a sign on the door the Cashier very snotty says OK!!!! Not as friendly as it was!! We had almost $100 in food and couldn't buy it because the store has no signs this is the whole town that out so to be rude to the customer when they cant pay because of something out of there control is unacceptable! They now have to throw away all the deli meat we had custom cut because it was handled I hope they dispose of it!

Spent 30 dollars on 3 "delmonico" steaks. They were extremely chewy and hard, inedible. Watched the dog attempt to eat them for 20 minutes and he gave up. Do not recommend buying at least the steaks from here.

(This took place during covid 19)Stores that sell food or medicine can't deny you entry because you aren't wearing a face mask. I was in the store yesterday without a mask and was told I had to have one on. I asked if that was a store policy or from the governor. The manager said from the governor. I told him that I was not required to wear one. I could have raised a big stink about it but decided just to leave. I was very disappointed that this craziness has even gotten into the rural parts of my beloved state of PA. I will do my grocery shopping in Welsboro from now on, where I have not been told I need to wear a mask. Giving 2 starts because the manager wasn't extremely rude, just in the wrong. I really should give a 1 star.
