Unfortunately the policies have changed on returns. Make sure you only buy what you truly need or hustle on back fast for a misery inducing return process. Dang shame.

I had a delivery/install of a new dishwasher today. The Installer arrived took one look and said he cant do the install. He and customer service tried to explain an issue which I knew not to be actually an issue since there is a existing dishwasher in its place. Simple replacement. Now I have the new dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen and have had to hire a plumber to come out in a few days to do what Home Depot refused to do. They have lost me as a customer, and I encourage anyone else to shop around before using them especially when it comes to a delivery and install.

Customer service helped mymom and i. We appreciated their concern for our needs. Neigher of us can lift due to knee issues. They were short staffed but wemt anove and beyond.

Good Customer Service and helpful staff whether at Paint Department or as Cashier or at Front Customer Service Desk.The Staff does its best to get the right Staff member to assist if outside their comfort zone.Full landscape/ plant department year- round for: houseplants inside the main store; and outdoor in the garden department during the growing season.Photographs of a few plants from Home Depot ranging from a few years old to within the last year; and of necessary indoor equipment/devices/appliances-- call 'em what you will but have made life easier. Added a photo of a past Valentine's Day display.

Got a Home Depot loan to get Windows and doors put in along with some other things that were told that were offered .. Clearly are not in my area. I cannot tell you how unhappy I am. Almost $7,000 for a 7 windows and four of the new windows were broken and installed anyway and they have not came back yet to fix it. The guy calls yesterday to put in my storm doors and they were clearly not what I ordered. I asked Frank the salesman to make sure he ordered me air tight doors. After getting here they were the 100 series door which after installing I saw there were many many gaps along the z-track and I was told that is how the door is designed. They ordered the wrong door after attempting to do so many times and their representatives and installers are nasty all they want to do is argue with you. If I were you I would negotiate terms with other contractors then Home Depot because they have been scraping clearly the bottom of the barrel and I'm paying interest on it. Was told they would contact me in a week about the broken windows that were installed anyway so that they could come back out and fix them that was 3 weeks ago( update out here twice & still not fixed). Just want to add I'm not one of those people that complain. You can check the rest of my Google reviews for other companies I just tell it like it is. These people better make it right. It's the right thing to do. If they don't I will include photos of the install for all to see

Been Going here for years, first time I really had an issue. There was an extremely rude woman at the customer service/online pick up desk. I believe her name was Bobby. I asked if they price matched amazon (they do as long as it is shipped by amazon) and she said no and began to mock me. I even called Home depot support to check and see if they price match. They did and got my order done for me online and Picked it up. I will drive to lowes I think from now on then have to worry about being treated badly by the staff. I worked retail for years and clearly this person was not suited for that job or trained. (changed 5 star review to 1 star)

Solid location with friendly staff and good selection. It’s quieter and cleaner than some of the nearby locations making this a great destination for a more relaxed shopping experience.Parking and access is good even for larger vehicles with trailers.There is also a good number of nearby options for food and other staples if you need to grab anything. From Chick-Fil-A, Giant to Tractor Supply there is everything you need within minutes.

This is the best Home Depot that I've ever been in not only is the customer service experience great here but the store is never super crowded very clean very organized I work in Baltimore and live in York so I stopped in this Home Depot to pick up materials on my way to job sites all the time I prefer it over any of the Home Depots in Baltimore

I have never had a good experience at this particular HD. Today I wanted to buy sheets of plexiglass and have them cut to size which the associate (after a long search to find one) refused to do.Their loss. I found an Ace hardware which had the same material for nearly $10.00 a sheet less....and free cut to size.

Today the self checkout employees where tremendously helpful! We had found some lights we liked and went to collect them at the register, they went above and beyond in searching for them.They where out of them up front, but instead of sending us away, they called people in the electrical department to get it.They also honored the price on the lights!

A regular stop for me and my husband. Little competition in the area. Staff is helpful when you can find them. Their website will take you to the location of an item you are searching for in the store.

I don't know who's at customer service today but they are extremely rude. The first time someone picked up the phone and immediately hung it up. The second time a guy picked and he talked so fast I could barely understand him, and when I asked if they were fully open today (a lot of places aren't because of storm damage/power outage) he quickly said, "okay thanks bye," and hung up. I couldn't even ask my second question. The third time a woman picked up and completely dismissed my concerns.Between this and their mishandling of my order, I'll be cancelling my 6k order of flooring, returning what I already bought, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'd rather pay a little more then deal with these people again.

Back in November, I ran into this Home Depot to pick up two $4 foam weather seals for my mom. I couldn't find them anywhere. Several staff members stopped what they were doing to help me find them. And where were they? Way up on a pallet up by the ceiling. What did they do? Bring the pallet down so I can have those two small items for my mom. They went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. Definitely recommend Home Depot in Shrewsbury/New Freedom!!!!

I love this store, but Home Depot has become an absolute nightmare online. Especially for any depot card holders since they sent out new cards a few months ago. Perks won’t apply, the app and the link to citi are laughable at best. If I try to call the store, there’s a list of 47 phone numbers, finding the right one is like whack-a-mole and then you’re transferred and on hold for HOURS.

I want to acknowledge a customer service representative named Arlene. I called the store with a problem on an order, Arlene listened to me, took notes, aasked for one hour to research the problem and get back to me. In one hour, Arlene called me back and had two solutions to the problem. We agreed on a final solution and the "used" item was picked up and a brand new item was delivered the very next day.Arlene was courteous, professional, personable and showed respect for me as a customer. This is why the New Freedom Store (#4177) is my preferred Home Depot location.

I recently moved close to the new freedom location and I am certainly glad I've done so. The friendliest staff and extremely knowledgeable folks. Today I had this nice gentleman help me at home Depot turns out he was a store manager Bob McKeever. He went above and beyond and that's what I'm seeing with all his employees. Excellent store and that's what keeps me coming back.

Two employees on the floor were very polite and helpful. They helped me problem solve and then cut a piece of wood I needed for a home project. Then a supervising cashier assisted me in scanning the correct price for a sale items. Good experience overall.

Jan’24 update: Can’t trust this place .. consistently disappointing in recent years; when you find something online 'in store', but when you get there it’s nowhere to be found. Staff are generally helpful so giving credit where credit is due the staff make this my preferred Home Depot location compared to others in the area. That said go to TSC or the new Harbor Freight before this place - that is all.

2 broken custom ordered shower enclosure/ bath tubs. Putting renovation out 4 whole weeks and still waiting to get replacement. Atleast they opened the second one to let us know before we went in again . Terrible staff they call said your enclosure arrived broken sorry and hung up. Didnt offer to try to make things right. Costing me way more money for my remodel and endless days of unfinished job. Wouldnt spend another dime at any of their stores.

As with all this chain, great selection but pricey. You have to look hard for bargains. In particular, look low on the shelves for reasonably priced items.Compare prices with Ace hardware just down the street

This is my local neighborhood home-based home Depot. I know My way around the store and can easily locate whatever I'm looking for. The staff are generally helpful, but there is less staff and they are less attentive than they were a few years ago. Several years ago I rated this as the best home improvement store I had ever been in. This particular home Depot seems to be on an upswing of improvement. Employees can only do so much as leadership comes from the top. Managers need to get out of their offices and spend more time on the floor. But still a very good home improvement store

I would like to start out by saying that the couple of young people at the customer service desk are absolute angels. I was having a serious problem with an order, and they were incredibly professional and very helpful. They were even really nice to my young son who was there with me.That being said, I don’t know that I feel comfortable ordering anything through the store in the future because of the manager, Rusty. After speaking with customer service through text, calling the online order customer service, and being there in the store, we could all clearly see that the order confirmation for all parts of my order stated that FedEx had delivered it to the store. However, the manager stood there and told me there was nothing he could do and that clearly FedEx was wrong. I tried to show him the tracking information and he refused to look at it and stated that it must be wrong.Rusty did not offer to double check anything, he did not offer to look into it, and when I asked to cancel the order he told me that could be done but that he would not refund the money until the parts were located. So I could cancel my order but not get my money back.At this point I feel that if he is the manager, I would not use this store again, as clearly my orders and my money are not safe there.

Terrible customer service. Bought a washing machine, which did not get our clothes clean. Now they will not return or exchange. Called the manufacturer and they sent me back to Home Depot. Matt told me that we could return, but then the store manager said they do not allow returns on appliances. The customer service person in the store said he does not recommend you buy any appliances from Home Depot since there is no way to return them.
